Small world! Yeh it's on marketplace and was listed on ebay too, but they removed the listing. Thanks, been watching some of your vids too. Good luck with your Caddy!
@ yeah, it’s so weird. I was shopping for parts for my caddy, and saw yours and the little snippet with the injector. I’m in two minds at the moment whether to continue with the caddy or get a bigger van!? Looking forward to seeing how your transit turns out? 👍💪
@@BikerVanLife My caddy definitely isn't a good advert for them. Yes, it's had high mileage but I reckon the guy who sold it to me new damn fine that the start issue needed looked at properly and just did would he could to mask the symptoms. Lesson learned there! It really depends - for me, the Caddy was just about ok for a cheeky wee get away but it certainly had its limitations. I sure as hell couldn't have lived in it full time so kudos to you sir!
Nice 👍 my transit has over 250k on it, keep up with oil changes and you'll have loads of years left on that engine 😎 If the mirrors still have the original bolts in them? They will be security snap off head bolts 😢 easiest method i find is to centre punch the remaining head, drill it 5 mm deep and hammer in a torx bit, they usually come out after the heat of drilling and the hammering in of the torx bit, good luck with the conversion, subbed to follow the build 👌
Ordinarily I'd have agreed with you, but this one's been sealed and very well looked after. Just needs some wee tweaks and it'll be what I need/want it to be :)
What should we name the new van? Let us know below 👇
Terry 😎
@@hamishyoung494 a decent shout, Terry the Transit has potential! 😅
@@dayvanadventure Terry the Transit has a good ring to it!

Black up the bumpers, spray the wheels silver and wash it. Looks clean for an old transit
Sorry, wash? What is this 🤫
Good old days of Wiseman. Old transit was probably better than the volkswagens and Mercedes they used when I was there
@@Dondy86 I've found an old newspaper cutting from my old mans time there. May do something with that in the next ep 🫠

@@Dirt-Diggler this sounds like what the guys at work said pretty much to the letter
The engine in that is one of the best you can get in a transit , the crank pulley failing is a common issue though 👍
Thanks James. Yeh it pulls like a train, but ta for the heads up. 103k on the clock so barely warmed up+
congrats on the new van pal, i bet you will prefer having the bigger van
Thanks, what a difference it makes. Though parking it next to the Caddy today its not as much of a step up as you'd think!
Looks ace man! ❤
Thanks fella. Really liking it so far 😊
@@dayvanadventure Once you kit it out, can I rent it from you for a tour van!? haha

Not bad!
You will have more problems with the transit than you ever will with the caddy also transits are rot boxes

Bit random for a Fordy, no? 😂
Not a fan of the transit. You should have just bought a mystery van, kidnapped a stoner and a dog, and go hunting ghosts!!!
