Yes. If you bounce Quirion or Scryb Ranger themselves, you reset the option to activate their ability because they left the battlefield, so re-casting them would repeat the process.
At least infinte etb trigger or with some other cards infinite mana.
I would love to try my hand at the table with my Jhoira build one day, it's definitely not cEDH with its deck list, although it has a couple cards used in cEDH often most of it is not what anyone would consider cEDH, with it being geared towards rapidly achieving infinite Mana through myr or basalt monolith/forsaken monument and multiple fireball style spells, it can go infinite as early as turn 3 with a perfect hand but generally won't get there until turns 6-8, however I just make it paycheck to paycheck so there's no way I could afford it anytime soon. Maybe one day though. It would be fun to try my hand at a true competitive table.
On turn 4, after you exiled the simian spirit guide to activate selvala, you generated infinite mana right? Unless I'm missing something, I don't understand why you didn't or why you weren't the one that was being attacked. Other than that these games were very educational to me as I'm trying to pay more cedh games
We need more good combo pilots in the ahow tbh. Selvala won because there were no fast combo
And no interaction whatsoever.
The past few episodes havent even had thoracle combos. I wonder if they got away from the fast combo decks for a bit because people were complaining in the comments.
Game 1 shows why making a deal to bolt the bird important.
so u could go with 100 proxies?
That is a nasty stax breaker selvala list. Really good to break parity and drop fat creatures every turn haha
that infect damage count was hilarious
Man the more I hear about tier 1 con makes me wish I had my passport and could go all the more
"Math is for Blockers" still makes me laugh every time. Nice matches!
Pyros deck reminds me of when I was only a few months into EDH and accidentally built Selvala too powerful for my local play group before I even knew about cedh lol.
Man I kinda want to make a syv deck now. Great games as always guys.
I love the fact that pyros deck was a value based combo deck!
You know it's a good Monday when stax players getting pounded by the agro player, felt bad for Folger though lol
20:09" loved to see Linvala transformed into Gisella the broken blade
2:26 Why do you call it a winconless stax deck when his win condition is his creatures?
I think it is because there isn't a combo wincon? It would maybe be better to call it "creature win stax"?
Because there isn't a specific wincon or combo that ends the game on the spot, just creature beats.
cause normally win-con doesn't count standard combat. Win-Con = combo that wins. Standard beats is just playing magic.
As a Selvala player, this video made me VERY happy
