Thanks for the games bois! I SHALL RETURN
Hey you were in the video!!! 😮🎉
Yay! This is awesome!!!
You better. I love you
Can't wait to see you again Brian Kiebler
Glad to see you still playing Selvala, my favorite deck!
The uncut banter/table talk is what got me watching these cedh videos in the first place. Thank you for this wonderful episode.
agreed. much prefer that style over highly edited with play by play replay commentary.
Yep
@@OctopiWalgreens The games are definitely extremely highly edited (look at the video length!), they just make the decision to include the banter. The game where the table is explaining to Cameron how to play his own Finale of Devastation and it keeps cutting back to him laughing at himself is *masterful* editing.
Real craft goes into these videos, which is undoubtedly a ton of work. it's not nearly as simple as "not editing too much."
Not having one person narrating all the plays definitely puts these guys a cut above other channels for sure
@@havendell I never said that there isn't a ton of work that goes into these videos, nor did I say it's as simple as
"not editing too much". I was moreso comparing this style to the style of other CEDH channels, and saying I prefer this style. "Highly edited" was probably the wrong choice of words on my part. How about "I prefer the editing of these videos to others" :p
Can't believe Dylan's dogs lost all the two color commander footage. For shame!
(Also, I would love to see the dogs in a video sometime! Maybe a cameo on the podcast?)
“Welcome to the Play to Win Podcast, where we talk about the-CULPRITS WHO LOST ALL OUR FOOTAGE!!!…..I’m Cam…”
😂
That first game really showed how impactful turn order can be in cedh.
I find it ironic that after all of the "did you lose two life from Sheoldred" they did with Kyle on his turn they all missed that he didn't lose two from the card he drew off of Benefactor's draught.
I legitimately believe that if nobody at the table caught it, then it never happened. I hate it when I screw up on keeping track, but DAMN do some games push that. Especially if Chains of Mephistopheles is out...
Because you lose life equal to the number of cards put into your hand?
This was really fun to watch!
The sequence Kyle did with Ashaya then all the responses were incredible!
The Sheoldred into PITA was nutty
The late game interactions, especially from Command Beacon were just awesome :D
Kriik slaps, wow. I'm not even used to seeing some of those cards with him!
K'rrik is constantly adjusting
Kyle could have returned the Scryb Ranger (as a forest - as returning the forest is part of the cost, therefore is already in his hand) to untap Karametra's Acolyte in response to the Solitude target, and in response to Dylan's Starstorm, flash in Scryb Ranger again, and reset the Ashaya combo.Make infinite mana, and then as the last action return Ashaya to evade the exile effect from Solitude, then Eldritch Evo or Summoner's Pact for win cons.
Punching the air at my computer screen. THISSSSS
Not sure this would have worked if Dylan plays optimally. Kyle would return scryb ranger untapping acolyte, Dylan would pass priority, then Kyle would cast scryb ranger again. Scryb ranger on the stack, Dylan casts starstorm in response, kills acolyte, no infinite mana. Still in a much better position than what ended up happening, but Kyle wouldn't win that turn.
Scrub Ranger returns itself as part of the cost, it's already in his hand due to it being a forest from ashaya. He has enough mana floating to recast even without the first untap
@@bouncin13 Yeah understood, but what I'm saying is that Dylan should hold starstorm until scryb ranger is recast and on the stack. While it's on the stack, Dylan should cast starstorm and kill the acolyte, stopping the combo for this turn.
10:40 Absolutely get a hellbent tattoo Dylan! That'd be siiiiiiiiiick
Also 19:08 as a streamer farting on mic is an absolute real fear that I have so lmao.
Side note: yes, Hell Bent would be sick for the camera
Another episode with Kyle Hill? didn't know it was already Christmas, thank you for the wonderful gift
I see my boy K’rrik I click like.
Those are some of the most amaaaazing games I have ever seen!
Having a mono-colored non-blue pod is waaay too underestimated.
Love the content! The music choice just *hits different*!❤
Peter, who works for Wizards plays K'riik and he has killed the table on turn 1 several times, that deck looks super cool. seen him play it a few times on playing with power
The tattoo idea is sick! Great vid as always dudes!
If you are consistently smiling throughout watching a video, its a good video. And that happens every video you guys make! As always, well done.
could watch this for hours pls never stop posting x
Holy blind obedience, that card was putting in the WORK this game!
Love these different decks! Kyle Hill is always entertaining 🤘
Hey, y'all used my decklist. That's hype! 🔥
Always watching your videos. Learning a lot from you guys! Its me J from the Philippines!
These mono colour decks are such a throwback. I remember watching those videos when I first found the channel.
Can’t believe you got Hall of Famer Brian Kibler playing cEDH!
Great Video, guys!
Please bring more K'rrik videos, it is such a explosive and resilient deck, plus it is great to watch
My favorite Cedh group! These games were great to see
Some really refined plans here lead to some super fast games- I do think that a few times y'all should've lost 2 on the sheoldred triggers
Great videos as always!
The Ashaya sequence was nicely played, I'm sure there are more ideal ways of playing it out to ensure a win, but who knew a starstorm was coming.
Game like these continue to make me enjoy Yeva's ability to navigate the stack more fluidly than other green decks.
Great video!
Daaaaaaaamn, Kyle's response was sick. Not much a green player myself but that was dope.
Dylan, you should absolutely get “HELL BENT” tattooed
'It's a local business' 7:07 you guys are the best lol🤣
Now I can take the things I’ve seen for Kirk and put it into yahmoth
LMAO i almost spit out my coffee. "HELL BENT" on the knuckles xD
It’s wild how all this decks are threats in the 3/4/5 color meta still
Yo I love seeing DHG doing work at any table!
8:19 Kyle missed a sheoldred trigger, 12:52 shouldt chalice counter quirion?
He manglehorned the chalice
CAM at 1:22 : "I'm gonna give it a try"
Truly a moment
New to this channel and seeing a commander game last sub 20 minutes is honestly terrifying. Really excited to see how cedh works
Oh believe me Cedh games NEVER last less than 20 minutes. Usually the first 5ish turns are about 45-60 minutes because of the amount of spells played during a short time. Welcome to the format!
@@Zen-708 this video has 3-4 games and is less then 20 minutes.
@@magellan6439 they are edited down to better fit a video format :)
Super fun game. The HELL BENT tattoo is a rad idea
Game one shows just how much turn order matters. If Kyle had gotten to play Ouphe before their turn 2s, then it would've stopped Cam's win and Kyle's potential win, alongside turn off all the artifacts that Tyler had.
We love Kyle. We need more of him and his beautiful hair. Great games boys!
GGs! Nice Rite of Flame into chalice though :^)
This 1st game made monowhite Charles the happiest for sure
The first Best of One Color Commander games you had was the first video that I saw of your. We have come full circle.
Just subscribed :)
Jo Sheoldred and Asmodeus are fun new additions to K'rrk I just learned about^^
tiny sequencing thing with the karametra's acolyte and woodland bellower @8:11 you can wait for the etb of hyrax tower scout to target the acolyte before activating it the first time in order to gain 1 more mana instead of using it on the etb of bellower
I feel like blind obedience is a slept on card. It over-performs every time I see it. For two mana, it makes winning through a lot of different combos much more challenging due to the mana rocks entering tapped, treasures enter tapped, it stops godo, kiki, and some dualcaster lines, it doesn't die to creature removal AND it's asymmetrical, and you can even use the extort to finish the game in some decks. Seems pretty good.
Surprised they aren't playing the Dwarf commander Magda. Still love this show thanks guys
Dylan, the easy choice for knuckle tats are (PLAY) (2WIN)
This game was hilarious and awesome!! :D
Absolutely yes to the hellbent tattoo!!!!
Love to see/play K'rrik! I believe Tyler have reanimated necrotic ooze from the start and do the Gary loop with all the pieces in the grave, won either way so no biggie
Shouldnt soul partition have exiled Sheoldred? He would have only had 4 life and no mana, so he wouldn't be able to do anything that turn and the table could kill him with combat damage/extort.
I have to agree. The Blind Obedience would've made it close to impossible for K'rrik to go off from that point.
I love seeing Tyler play krrik cause I’ve been playing kinnan the same list he does and I learn how to play him cause of Tyler, well I changed my sheoldred deck to krrik and this helped a lot, I need me a LED though lol
Honestly, great video boys! Just make sure the green deck wins next time!
Forgot the sheoldred trigger on benefactors draught XD. So many triggers so i dont blame ya guys one bit lol
Great games! Any chance you could tell us what decks were in the two color game and who won?
"I some stickers to reveal." 😂
I mean, one way to stop Dylan from playing the sticker goblin is to kill him the turn after he plays tapped land go.
i would had necromancied the Necrotic Ooze, but i guess Skirge nor Chainer was in the graveyard so i respect the play. With mono blue commander options like Urza, Lord High Artificer, Orvar, the All-Form, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, and literally The Reality Chip i'm amazed none of them were showcased here.
Are y’all gonna do cedh with the new ob captive king pin 👀👀
Nice Cam was zoomed out for once
Hell Bent is 10/10 knuck tatts
The stickers fucked me up. That shit was funny
MTG is the only sport I really follow so I might as well watch the best in the game and at turn 2 seeing 3 decks about to pop off was incredible
@Play to Win. Can you guys try the MoM Aftermath legendaries, im trying Narset, and wanted another opinion, cause i see other ppl say its not that great, but i feel from my own testing that it can be very good
Literally yesterday I wanted to watch a krrik video and bam you guys are already out here
Been watching y’all for the least year or two. Really trying to get into cedh but the fast mana rocks and free interaction is expensive af. Any advice?
Love seeing a Cam/Heliod win. A Tyler win is also welcome! Have you ever considered making a best enchantress deck in cEDH video?
Woulda liked to see Orvar in this pod.
Any game with Kyle is gonna be a good one. And any game with K'rrik is a must watch. I love that deck play
Since the footage was lost for the 2 colors, can you tell us what commanders were played in the match and who won?
Sheoldred is the new rhystic study lol
Daretti: Hold my beer 🍺
LOVE the gay to win shirt!!! Is anyone on the team LGBT+? Don't have to answer of course if you don't want that out there, but I was just curious!!! Love to see the rep from my favorite MTG channel
That has to be the first time I've seen a Peer resolve and the owning player not win right away. Funny enough that just happened to me this week. I resolved a Peer twice and a Thassa twice before finally winning a two hour cEDH game.
Lets goooooo
Damn. I remember when Teferi Chain Veil was good. My Urza deck isn't even in the top 4.
Stickers annoy me to the point I won’t add mind goblin to my godo for that reason. 😂
I’d really like to see K’rrik played against multi-colored decks, and considered in more discussion as a real threat in pods with partner commanders.
Did cam say "Gay to Win" I'm def too broke for pride merchbut I would love that lol
Kyle never lost 2 life for benefactors draught
Should have made a tournament of 4 games with each of the deck starting first. And the final contending against blue starting first. Maybe a bit too much, interesting non the less
Hell Bent across the knuckles😂 send it!
I'm a Yisan guy myself, but I love to see a K'rrik in the game.
Really disappointed that we didn't get to see the stickers in action.
One vote for the Hellbent tattoo 🙋♀️
Selvala couldve untapped Karmeta acolyte when he bounced ashaya back and added that mana before it died and done some more xD
I was so confused because of the podcast
When Kyle cast benefactors draught did he just not draw? I saw the creature untap and he read "draw a card" but when the table was discussing losing life and drawing he said he was at 31. I believe he should be at 29 at that point. Nbd GG and great content as always
Yep, and every time cards were returned to hand with Asmodeus they missed the seven-life loss, which didn't matter one bit :P
True story: as I've said on many other videos, Selvala is my girl. I recently powered down my deck to play in a new meta, and I struggled to make her bad lol. She still slaps.
Hey guys does Tyler have Sheoldred in his deck? I feel like it would be pretty strong
sheoldred sure has some text on her like god
sorry i must miss something, so the soul partition is targeting what?
Just wanna say personally this channel has made me a better MTG player
I half expected an Orvar deck. Does Orvar not have what it takes to hang at a cEDH table?
cedh jetmir please❤
QUIRION
RANGER
ENTERS
TAPPED
❤😊
BEGIN with bonus hexagons
These guys have been so stoned on these 😂
Yisan, consistent turn 4-5 wins?
