Took me a bit to touch on highs. I was scared lol, but with the help of good videos from here and elsewhere, I mustard up the balls to try them and now I can do a bit of highs in my practice.

I learned how to do this just a couple weeks ago emulating the sound of Courtney LaPlante's one take video for Circle With Me, didn't realize this was the technique I was learning while practicing switching from cleans to screams lol You're incredible at explaining the perfect technique to do these sounds, I just learned through imitation lmao

@@ExtremeVocalInstitute I wish I could nail the vocals you demonstrate. Been trying. I can sound alright at almost a whisper, but can’t get loud. Death metal is my go-to genre. I can play some riffs on guitar, but my vocals are lacking.

IVE BECOME SO NUMB edit: im still tryin to sing with a raspy voice, and your tutorials are the easiest to follow lol but it's still hard to actually "SING" like Chester from Linkin Park, Kurt from Nirvana, or Oli from BMTH... i just cant seem to sing with tone and rasp/grit at the same time buuut i know how to false chord scream and fry scream pretty well now thanks to you

You can get super high highs with false chord, but you're just better off learning fry at that point.
