Slaughter to prevail has came a long way man.. I've been watching Alex and Slaughter since way back when they had Anton on drums and I gotta say they have just blown the hell up man.. such a sick band to see live too.. they definitely brought it to another level for sure..

I hate that people think Corey is a jerk. He could easily be one. He could be reclusive and never talk to anyone but he’s always friendly.

@@rebeccamcguire2798 yeah, I have been around him a few times but only once when he was just in a “normal” setting. It was after a show, there was a big party for the bands. I wasn’t working the event or anything just a guest so I just hung out and observed lol. He was exactly as I imagined. Singing, laughing and just having fun with people. He may have been tipsy for all I know. I can’t remember when he got sober but it was 2008.
I would never describe Slaughter to Prevail as an emerging band, ever. They’ve been in full bloom for a number of years now.

Yeah man they've almost been around for a decade and for a deathcore band they're massive. Them and Lorna Shore are the biggest bands of the genre

In the early 2000s, Corey showed up to my bands set in Des Moines. After the show he invited us back to his house and we just kicked it, played guitar, and he gave us a tour of his house lol. So down to earth, I couldn't believe it. Absolute favorite memory. People who hate on him have never met him IRL.

Кори Тейлор - такая себе звезда. Как гроулер - он реально дно. Поет красиво, да, но не гроулинг, это уже давно факт... У Слипкнота был первый вокалист гораздо лучше него. Чисто бабло и связи зарешали

Я даже и не представляю, какое счастье было у Сани, когда он встретил Кори, да и у других ребят.. Я сам вырос на Slipknot, и я очень рад за ребят, что дошли до такого уровня.

STP was here in Calgary a month or two ago. Sadly I couldn’t go because I was working, but I was able to walk past the massive crowd outside the theatre downtown, because it was right by my bus stop, and on the way to the train station. It was the most metal fans I’ve seen in one place in a long time. I hope Sleep Token comes here one day, I’d love to see them too.
As someone who saw 2 of Slaughter To Prevail shows here in Melbourne, Australia, i can confirm they pulled HUGE crowds. Side show was sold out and their Good Things Festival sets were absolutely massive. I almost died during their opening song coz the crowd just went apeshit.
Also, anyone doubting if Alex can really project his voice the way he does for Viking withouta mic, i can attest to the fact you can hear it from the back of the room.
Amazing band.
I admire Corey's social skills to the core.
No null moments, no awkwardness, no anxiety just alot of people skills that makes them comfortable.

Saw Slaughter to Prevail live in Beijing several years ago. I was standing in the front row. Alex Terrible was a total beast.
Stone Sour opened up for Ozzy Osbourne at Pine Knob and I plus another was 4th row. That was an unforgettable concert. Both Corey and Ozzy blew the place away!!!

OMFG this would be awesome my literal top favorite bands and if they toured with Bury tomorrow omg even more awesomeness that would bring they are the 3 bands i only listen to anymore i grew up with hard rock like Shinedown which was my first ever concert which was awesome, but these three bands would be so radical to see in person.
Corey is extremely open with his band / personal fame, and is a total legend. I know there is the current band drama happening, but thats what happens in some bands. Met him at Sydney MMM studio in 2018 and took photos, and got tattoo of his signature. Best highlight of my MetaL life!

Cory is such a nice guy and also very funny. He always goes out of his way to support people even if they dont have a name. he always gives words of encouragement and to keep at it. But cory definitely gives off a vibe of dont f*** around or you will find out

What makes slaughter i think so cool to us American/western/English speaking fans and why they sound so good is i believe we focus more on the music and can hear it better.
What i mean is were actually listening to the sounds that are available more clearly. That's because most of us dont know how to speak or interpret russian language. Therefore we are not distracted by lyrics, and focusing on exactly what the song itself is saying. Our attention isnt divided by lryical interpretation and music, soley focused on sounds and how they blend together.
Thought I heard Corey say "Justin, our drummer said..." I'm also falling asleep while watching this so I'm probably 100% incorrect lol
