A reaction actually worth watching, I love the detail you went into. Another great thing about Slaughter to Prevail, is that they haven't gotten hung up on the success of Demolisher, but have continued to build on it with even more 10/10 songs and perfecting their image and stage antics. You can really see their passion for the band and the music.
I saw them live in Toronto for their first ever Canadian concert. HANDS DOWN the best concert I’ve ever been to. Energy was insane!!

Saw them live last year in Canada. Only band on the card. Sold out show at a venue that holds 1500 capacity. show was amazing. There's nothing but great things in store for this awesome band.

Archspire's drummer and vocalist (Spencer and Oli) are insane. Lucid Collective Somnambulation is absolutely insane for literally every element of the song.
I've never heard a vocalist do blast beats with syllables until Archspire.

Spencer of Archspire is definitely one of the best drummers of modern techdeath. And despite being insanely fast, his drumming is really musical. Reminds somehow of what Sean Reinert did in Death's =Human= (his drumming on that album is an undisputed masterpiece)
Gotta give some credit to the guitarist (Dean Lamb) too. I love his RUclips channel m.

I love your perspective and I’m going to implement these thoughts in writing my next collection of songs.
Unfortunately I sequence my drums now due to not being able to play live drums where I live. Moreover and consequently to my living situation, I no longer have the ability or honed the techniques to play what I hear in my head.
The good thing is my brain is still imaging it and I could practice on pads to eventually get there but after 15years of acoustic drum playing, pads are uninspiring, at least for me.
EES it is my perception that you are too humble to agree with me, but you might just be the GOAT.

I don't keep up with new bands so this is awesome. Gonna marathon them now.
As far as the reaction, I really like the depth you go into breaking certain parts down. As a shitty noob drummer it really helps to have some of the parts pointed out since they would just pass me by otherwise. Other parts like that crazy double bass, it's just nice to watch it over again with the hype. Also super glad he has that foot cam, seeing that heel-toe pedal work is awesome.
Saw them last week in Tilburg (Netherlands). Drove 5 hours to watch them play for an hour. Totally worth it.

Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse has done a lot of phenomenal things. Talking about teamwork, he complements the vocals and strings very well, but catching offbeats to accent the orchestral parts is just *chefs kiss*

I luckily bumped into Evgeny at a Slaughter show in 2019 at Reverb in Reading PA. He was super nice and chill but his English wasn’t very good so when I was telling him he was one of my favorite modern metal drummers he pointed to a shirt hanging on their merch rack and said in his best English “I am drum machine” and the shirt he pointed to was half of his face with the same saying on it. It was FUCKING awesome
Excellent breakdown. People don’t realize how hard and technical it is to play like this and be right on with the timing at the same time. His skill and timing to be right in sync is amazing.

It's old hat by now, but, Danny Carrey's Performance of Pneuma Live is something great. I think it's a wonderful performance. (I know you were looking for up and coming metal bands but it's still a good video to watch and react to as a professional drummer)
Also, Jinjer. My goodness, Jinjer's drummer brings so many cool elements into the metal genre from jazz, to reggae and his dynamic with Tatiana is fucking fantastic.

Congrats on getting the new 4K camera! I really like your approach to reaction videos; it's just as creative as your drumming videos. And although I've watched many reaction videos for "Demolisher," you're the first person I've seen to point out the strong connection between Aleks and Evgeny. I honestly never knew about that connection, but after you pointed it out, it became so obvious!
Also, your reaction videos have been hilarious; I really like your sense of humor. I'd really like to see you and 66Samus in a video together--and possibly Bradley Hall as well. You three are the funniest musicians on RUclips, along with being really skilled on your instruments. Been on them live. They FCKing deliver! Top concert of the year for me. In my humble opinion one of best of the best drummers. Bumble but energetic Alex and perfectly balancing drummer. Whole band is superb and atmosphere is absolutely amazing.
I met these guys last Friday. They are so sweet and amazing people. I even asked Alex if I can take a selfie with him but without the mask, beacuse I said he looks much better with this scar and he agreed to take a photo with me! It was amazing night!!!

Jon is not in Job for a Cowboy anymore. Jon is now in Umbra Vitae, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Scorpion Child. Plus Jon is also the live drummer for Cephalic Carnage, Tsjuder, The Red Chord.
Jon Rice is a blast to watch. I think Jon and Estepario both qualify for the title of "Have Drumsticks - Will Travel" with their drumming experiences. I think my favorite Rice video out there is him playing "Reaper's Dance" with Scorpion Child. Something about seeing a guy known for his death metal drumming jamming his heart out in a rock band.

'Dig' from Mudvayne is still one of my favorite metal songs. It has less complexity when it comes to the drums but it is extremely powerful. And, fun fact, Alex Terrible made an amazing cover.
