I know young woman as my self who love this shawl. Its looks good on all ages. You did a nice thing. Maybe you can bless the old ladies one at a time with the shawl. God Bless you!!
Relatively new to crochet and trying to increase my skills. This video is clear and easy to follow. I’m not good at following written patterns. Thank you for the great instructions!
Thank you Jonna for taking the time to create these videos, I am part way through the second one and I just love it. Your instructions are perfect and so easy to follow. Thanks again :) xx
i am on row 9 but really loving it already . thank you for being so clear. i was so frustrated with many other tutorials since i am a beginner. your instructions are very clear and the quality of the images/sound is excellent. thank you!!!! i hope i can finish!! (even though there are sitll a million rows left)
This pattern has been on my to-do list for quite some time and I'm finally getting around to doing it. Excellent video, clear instructions and very easy to follow. I am also going to take a look at your Easy Pineapple (purple) shawl pattern as I'd like to make a larger shawl for my next project.
this shawl looks beautiful...I've been looking for shawl patter and wanted to learn a pineapple stitch....so this is perfect..love your tutorial...can't wait to start....thank you Jonna...!!
Loved your tutorial, very easy to follow along! I'm almost finished making this shawl, I used yarn I had on hand which was Landscapes Desert Spring, but have run out so just ordered some more and two Caron Cakes as well to make another that will look just like yours as I think the pattern gets lost a bit in the Landscapes Desert Spring colors of my current yarn. Still pretty, but I really like the way the pattern jumps out at you with the color you used. Looking forward to more tutorials!!
Thank you Jonna.... your demonstration, explanations and the speed at which you do the crochet ... all very good. I was only confused right at the beginning in the third row where I was going to end up with possibly 26 'posts' rather than 13, but after watching carefully, I understood what you were doing.! It is a very pretty shawl.
Omg this is so gorgeous. This will definitely be my next project. I'm doing a cruise in February and this will be perfect for those cool evenings aboard ship
Wow ! beautiful shawl! I will definitely be trying this one I look forward to watching the other tutorials on this shawl! Thank you for sharing! God bless!
I love all your tutorials! You are a very good teacher! Everything it's nice and clear to follow. I am ready to croche this one too! Thank you! Lots of hugs from Hungary!
I am up to part 2 now. and enjoying making this. you are a great teacher thanks for sharing your beautiful pattern and tutorials. I am using red heart Unforgettable in parrot.
I will be making this for me. In light purple. I can't wait to do this. Keep up the good work on your videos. I am in hopes that my shawl will be as gorgeous as your. Thank You!!
+Twanisha Williams ll it will probably come out very small. Many have had trouble with it coming out small. I hope you enjoy the project! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Somehow I only got 6 groups of clusters for rows 7 and 8. I'm using a 5 mm hook and size 4 yarn. I'm not sure if or where I went wrong yet I don't think I'm unraveling those rows....lol. I'm enjoying making it.
English isn't my main language, but your tutorial is very easy to follow! Just completed row 12 and it looks awesome already! Can't wait until I'm finished!!!
Thank you for this tutorial, I bought online in UK Caron cakes violet, brown and ecru (here in Italy I can't find them) and I worked. It's so beautiful, now let's wait for autumn. Greetings from Milan, Italy!!
I have recently subscribed and I am very pleased with how you explain your patterns. Could you please for this pattern explain at what rows you can increase to make it larger thanks.
Unfortunately I cannot suggest what rows to increase because I have not yet done it myself. But if you did go about it, you would increase the pineapples again. As you see they get bigger as you go, so you would just keep going with that. Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing! I hope you enjoy making this shawl!
This is so beautiful, I plan on making it in the near future. Right now I am working on a different yet difficult pattern shawl, so I would prefer waiting until I am complete before starting anything new! Big Hug's with Lot's of Love
Just wanted you to know that I am making this using ICE brand variegated yarn with a 4.00 mms book a d it's gorgeous. I have finished part 1 and moving on to part 2. Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial.
I came to the comments to see if anyone had done this in a variegated yarn. I'm afraid that the color changes are taking away from the pretty work, and I'm not sure if I should finish it! I know your comment is a year old but... hey😁 you have a picture?
@@valeriedenny4882 I haven't made this specific pattern but if you're going to use a variegated yarn, I recommend using a slow change yarn such as an ombre. The slow color changes look so nice but don't distract from the intricate patterns. I made the virus shawl using scheepjes whirl and it looks beautiful, the pattern is still the star but the colors are so nice. That's just my recommendation though. Maybe try the red heart ombre?
This is beautiful! I would love to make it but I am wondering if it can be make longer? I am not a tiny person and wonder if this can be made more of an XL?
