    I don't know who it is that comes up with these techniques, but whoever does it has a brilliant mind. My mind doesn't it work like that so that makes me admire it even more. Great job Jenny and all who work for the Missouri Star Quilt Company.

    This is a super way to put blocks on point. I did blocks an on point another way and man was I praying to get all the ends to meet! I did not have all the space these cute blocks have...I love all the extra space this method has...Thanks again for a wonderful tut!

    I did a HUGE 9 patch scrappy quilt that I wish I had known this method then!! It took me a week to sew it together the "traditional" way!! Next time I get brave enough to do another one, I will definitely use this method!! Thank you for another simple method! :)

    A great way to use left over scraps of fabric or a jelly roll you haven't decided what to do with. Beautiful quilt, and you make it so easy!

    I did 2 of these for Christmas this last year. I did one in the black red and silver color wave if Holiday Flourish 11 and the other one in the same line but the red green and gold color wave. My sisters loved them

    I absolutely love this technique, done your way! I like to trim to size so that each block is perfect AND there is no fear of points being sewn over and chopped off. Thank you!!

    Jenny, you are the quilting ferry and all the other little ferries are always busy packing up my fabric. This night in shining armour knocks on my door with gifts in hand and smiles at me and says. "I have many gifts for Jan-Maree Warne, can I please see her. I am in shock because he is so good looking, but I manage to say "That's me". I unwrap all my fabric watch youtube and then off I go and start making a flying geese log cabin using the Tiki jelly roll. It's beautiful. Thankyou Jenny for your tutorials.     I made this quilt for my brother and sis-in-law for Christmas using a unified theme in neutrals vs. a scrappy look. It was stunning and has pride of place in their family room. Next time I make it, it'll be a scrappy version for myself.

    Thanks for this tutorial, Jenny. You're right, a 6" white square cut diagonally probably would be large enough, but why risk it? Wiggle room is best, you can always trim down. Blocks usually look better on point, now I know how. Thanks MSQC! ~Diana from Toronto

      She also says to cut the white diagonally in both directions, but she only cuts one direction. 😁

    Jenny, you really make these 9 patches look so easy and squaring up your block was nice but I was not sure what line your set the ruler on. I love your choices of fabric with all of the quilts you make.
