Am so glad I found your channel and subscribed. I lost my love for quilting after my grandmother past almost 15 years ago. Watching your videos has brought back that spark. I am going to make the blocks of the month to create a quilt in my grandmother's memory. Thank you sharing and inspiring me to quilt again.

Beverly- I am so glad that I have been able to bring your love of quilting back. I think a memory quilt in your Grandmother's honor is a beautiful way to remember her. ❤️

Just found you. You are a great teacher. And your choice of fabric and colors are what I really appreciated. I have been teaching myself for years ,I am 80 and am nothing in experience as you young ladies. You all do such beautiful work. I had to always eyeball all my work on certain things as I did not know how to read the ruler. I finally broke down and had my son teach me. I just get excited when I see something you do and hear the word of what you categorize it and I have been doing that. Such as stitch in the ditch. My children have since been wonderful in helping me stay on top of today’s modern toys.. lol god knows how much I enjoy it so I figure there has to be a team up there just stitching away when my time comes to join them. And that saying of your never to old to learn is very true.. thank you ladies

Hi Vicki, I too, am a new quilter of almost 2 years come almost the near end of May, it’ll be 2 years. I’m 68 and just now starting out. Back then all I had was an old Kenmore sewing machine of my mother’s I don’t think it would of held up for me. Back when I start my husband was helping me then he quit. That was last year Oct 2021, I haven’t sewed anything since. I have a 3 yard quilt I need to finish so I can complete that. But..with my husband cutting for me that helped a lot since I have such arthritis in my hands, so..this makes it difficult to sew a times. But..the fabrics sure are pretty, but…so expensive now. So..I try to get only what I need. Hope your enjoying sewing at this time. I took up sewing back in the day of ( Jr high school days).

You make doing a disappearing nine patch look so easy. I am a beginner quilter and doing this for one of my grand babies. I am so excited. I love how when the square is complete it looks like a complicated square and it is not. Thank you so much. I may be watching and doing first square with you. Wanted you to know that since I have picked up sewing my grand babies 8 and 10 year old now have been playing with fabric scraps for a few years with glue. Last time they were over they wanted me to teach them how to hand sew a straight line. We are having our Xmas tomorrow and I have bought them both a sewing machine of their own. Wow are we going to have fun. I have been teaching them to cook as well. They really need this distraction right now. Their father was in an accident at work and is paralyzed from the waist down. They have no insurance and the medical bills are piling up. Their mother took a job at school where they go right before accident to make their life easier. We were carrying most of the care burden since they were babies because they could not afford day care. Saying that this sewing desire for them will be healthy for both of them. They are grieving every day when they are reminded that dad cannot jump on trampoline anymore or dad cannot do the active things that they are so used to doing together. You are a blessing to me. I got the girls to pick out their fabrics for their quilts and I cannot wait to start them that will help lock in that passion for fabric and sewing. Have an amazing 2025. Thank you, Jeanette

Unfortunately, I do not. I purchased it about 2 years ago and I can no longer find that particular fat quarter bundle. You might want to try Missouri Star Quilt Company though. They had some really cute Riley Blake fat quarter bundles.

I use an app on my phone by Robert Kaufman that helps me to configure different size squares to make a certain size block. 😊
Here is a quick video on how to use the calculator.
