  • A quick recap update regarding the DWP being brought to the UN Committee against the treatment of disabled people within the UK.
As you can expect the number of lies and discrepencies within the report to the commitee made the UK to be Golden Boy when in reality this is far from the reality.

If this aneurysm pops, then I will be dead within minutes, yet they couldn't care less. They will have another death to add to their long lists victims.

There is nothing on the mainstream media, newspapers, and TV channels that covers up the mess they created.
Work coaches do plenty of gaslighting; plenty have a degree in this area, which is why I don't speak a word with them and give them silent treatment. One week they are on your side; next week they say, What have you got against your advisor? I'm like, I like to raise a concern, but they don't even want to listen.
Keep up the good job exposing these jobsworths.

My son was my carer for 2 years. DWP
.paid him £65 per week. I then got carers because this destroyed our relationship. Then they took the money back off him. At the same time I was billed £7,000 for a false claim. I spoke to someone from DWP regarding this false accusation. My social worker was present and heard this conversation. I have MS and cannot walk and bed bound with carers 5 times daily. My social worker was livid. My son cared for me for pennies 7 days and nights for 2 years and then had to pay it back and now I have carers from Africa who do basic care for more money daily. Make that make sense

It’s so sad that it has affected your relationship with your Son I truly hope that that can be healed.
I have said for a long time that criminals have better rights!
Innocent until proven guilty! Whereas it’s in reverse for people who are either disabled or extremely ill! They are treated like 3rd class citizens now guilty until proven innocent.

    These are 💯 facts :
£8,000 paid in deductions from UC since 2018 at start of claim , full time carer transitioned over .
Alternative payment arrangement for housing costs started immediately. ( paid direct to housing association)
Eviction notice served within 2 months for rent arrears suspended.
Advised to declare bankrupt as arrears keep rising .
Found out this week my non dependent disabled daughter had been missing of my claim in this property from start of tenancy ten years ago .
I have also been paying arrears of overpayments on another property I never lived at running concurrent with existing claim .
    Medically misdiagnosed causing permanent disability.
Applied for PIP , took 16 months to go to tribunal .
Declined in court , never received an assessment nor consultation.
Diagnosis of PTSD due to ongoing issues with DWP & misdiagnosis.
Severe hardship & trauma caused .

They to are not above telling the odd lie or two if it suits them.ive been appealing against a DWP decision. My first appeal failed , I appealed again. It's a court case. My work coach told me it won't be until July 19th until they get the results of it. When I got home I found out on the UC site I'm fit for work. I feel that they've decided this before the court case ends. I feel they've been setting me up for months.in a rather devious way

Does anyone know that when you phone the number to talk to DWP for PIPs. They tell you to explain your medical problem to them. When they answer and you tell them what they say they want. They tell you “ sorry I don’t know anything about that. We are just a PUBLIC call centre and are NOT medically trained. “. You should see what they’ve done to my partner and for how long. And it’s gone on since before this government. Near on thirty years. Disgusting. They even told us that her NI number was a bogus number and illegal so she “DOES NOT EXIST”. And told us to “ find another one from somewhere “ Just because it’s an NI number from Guernsey CI. This they are still’ using to confound things because she has retired. And it’s just a tip of the iceberg they are disgusting. In thirty years of working in this line of work I’ve never seen anyone treated the way they treated my partner. It’s taken me 15 years to get her the help and Benifits she was entitled to and desperately needed. Did you also know that at least in Nottingham. Where I got the welfare rights to help. At that time in 2018 he oversaw the paperwork I submitted to ensure it was correct. Which it was and their decision was overturned. The day before the court case as they had no case to make and my evidence was accepted. The second attempt as the DWP had lost. The original three years work so had to begin again. At THAT time welfare rights were winning every case they took on. In 2023 when my partner retired I went there to see if the same guy could help again as we were yet again getting the run around re her NI number. To be told
. “ oh. Sorry. He doesn’t work here any more. There’s no one to do that work. The GOVERNMENT have stopped funding for that position so we are NOT allowed to help with DWP claims any more”
So at least in Nottingham it seems that they’ve been stopped from helping and therefore any cases that they would normally have won are now handled by well meaning people who may not necessarily know the relevant ins and outs of the policies required etc like I did. disgusting.

I was lucky, when I was reassessed (amputated limbs often grow back , so understandable) my assessor was a former psychiatric nurse from the Birmingham area, it was her last month and she was sick of what she was being asked to do. My neighbour not so much. She lives with cerebral lupus fibromyalgia, wedge fractures in the spine and brain lesions, she was asked to peel a potato by placing it under her armpit and using a peeler, to prove she was capable of self support. Shocking but not really. you guys are doing the lords work keep the faith ignore the haters (its easy we are used to it ) Namaste Dx

It frustrates me that people dont get Severe Depression & Anxiety is classed as a disability and it stays with you for life, there isn't a sticking plaster solution from MH Services it's managed by yourself as the person with the disability and it does limit what you can and can't do, soceity as a whole needs to realise this.

Originally I had been given high rate for mobility indefinetely due to a numerous progressive conditions and am worse now with even more long term problems during them seven years. Our daughter needs a bigger property due to children having special needs, they live in a council home, which has had damp in for almost ten years since they moved in, also waiting for a new bathroom since Dec 2022. The DWP are probably one of those bodies who do not give any support to autistic adults, including those diagnosed with autism later in life, where already, there are no adult post diagnostic autism assessments as a legal entitlement/requirement to identify level of autism and appropriate adult autism support required, as all of the autism support is focused on and geared towards children with autism - it’s as if autism is regarded as being not a real disability, just like mental health is not regarded as deserving enough of proper funding

My nephew has autism, his GP said he did, he wouldn't go for any other professional appointments for his autism as he's terrified about going anywhere, so he can not access PIP, he said that he wouldn't apply for it though, even if he was professionally diagnosed, as it would traumatize him too much having to go to an interview. It comes to something when people feel so oppressed that they feel that they can't do anything due to the feeling failure!

I have been a carer for my mother for about 20 years and have been paying those darlings at the dwp back money for about 7 years now ( only another 2 to go ).
Because the local bank closed its branch and I put some of my parents money into my bank account because it was easier and I wouldn’t have to drag my disabled mother 10 miles to the next nearest bank. Anyway they knew very well that the money came form my mother’s bank account but they insisted that I pay back over £6000.
I have since learned that neither of my parents received state pension for over 22 years ( my mother is 83 and my father passed away 4 years ago at the age of 82).
Those little sweethearts at the dwp would only pay back 1 years back pay of £4000 so that’s well over £200 thousand pounds they have lost out on.
The double standards of these individuals is truly sickening 😡

At least they turned up for this hearing. Last I heard, 75% of PIP tribunals had no-one there from the DWP. Apparently, keeping people with illness or disability for waiting for months without money, then effectively admitting you have no case for doing so, doesn't attract any kind of sanction.
