IN THIS EPISODE...
We compare the best of the Echorec-emulating modern delay pedals with a genuine Binson Echorec, model PE603T c1969, ish. MASSIVE thanks to Tony at Sound Gas for loaning us the Echorec and Echosex. soundgas.com
The Echorec was an analogue magnetic drum echo unit (as opposed to tape), made by Italian company, Binson. There were a number of (very) different models from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s, made most famous by both Hank Marvin and of course Pink Floyd.
The Echorec (and indeed each of the other pedals), is running in one of TheGigRig G2’s loops, straight into the front of the amps.
A NOTE ON BACKGROUND NOISE: At around 3:18 we switch on the Echorec for the first time. You’ll notice lots of background noise, that then disappears when we play. This is because our voice microphone (placed just above our heads) is set to a very loud level, with added compression that makes the background noise seem much worse than it is.
When we are playing however, the voice mic is muted (it would go into massive distortion if hit with the guitar amps), so when we are playing you are only hearing the mics on the guitar cabs and the stereo X-Y in the room. There is no noise reduction or other jiggery pokery going on anywhere.
Right, let’s get to it…

1970: Try the Echorec, it is the most high fidelity echo available! 2022: Let's use the Echorec, its a great Lofi delay with grit and texture!
I played in a dub reggae band years ago and we had a Binson - it was brilliant. Our engineer used to take the top off the unit, dub a guitar or keyboards into it and then spin the drum around backwards for some really spacy reverse echo :-)
Came home last night around 4 am after a night of heavy barbaric alcohol consumption. I mean I was drunk as all hell. Started watching That Pedal Show. Woke up this morning, opened up my gmail. 5 new pedals ordered. That's, like, all of my money gone. And so it goes. Thanks.
+bigJohnnybabyboy hahahahaha, oh no!! But still... hahahahahaha
That Pedal Show this still wasn't as bad as the time I got home, drunk again, bid on a Klon, and WON.
hahaha you absolute madman. I dare you to try it again.
3 years later and I love this! I can’t imagine how many more have been acquired since
If that’s a true story ....That’s one hell of a story,
That was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the discussion on creativity and new and old technology's effect on it. Thank you so much.
You guys are SO amazingly happy today… And it's quite contagious! Thank you, thank you, thank you very much!
Yes, finally a real good show of a Binson, ever since I learned about them felt impressed. Thanks!
My Catalinbread was easily the most I had ever shelled out for a delay pedal but oh my god. Easily the best delay I've used even without using the multiple head setting. Thank you guys for comparing it to the real thing!
I’ve had one on my touring bass board for 7 years. 250+ shows a year (until Covid) and same one still there. Adore it
Agreed! I can get lost in my echorec for days… easily worth the money 🔥
What they don't say is which is the closest pedal to the original, and after owning and playing with all of the above, the Boonar comes the closest, in case anyone was wondering.
Thank you
The Boonar is awesome for being a pedal and way better than the others.
@@ontheroad579 The impression I've gotten elsewhere.
Boonar by far. Wish they would put out the Boonar Deluxe!!!
I like the simple head switches. Definitely a lot easier to use! Seems bit pricier than catalinbread though
14:25 I was waiting for that glorious moment since the beginning of this video.
Thank you guys! love the show
Likely my favorite video from the both of you to date!! Amazing!! I greatly appreciate what you bring to the masses.
You hope we enjoyed this? Are you kidding? Simply brilliant! What incredible memories this brings back. I was 15 in 1972 and had just moved to Phoenix, Arizona from the mid west. I had a new band, an old Strat and a worn out Dark Side Of The Moon LP. I had literally worn out the grooves in the album where the solos were from playing them over and aver trying to learn them. I actually owned one of these in the mid 70's. I think it was a T7 model. That's what I remember anyway. Hands down the coolest peice of outboard gear I've ever owned. It really shaped the way I wrote songs, then and now. Wish I still had it. It just wore out and at that time I had no way of repairing it. I just odered a "Boonar" yesterday and have big expectations. I think it will sound great with my old rack mount BK Butler "Tube Driver" in front of it. Great video guys. I just found your channel but I've subscribed and will be back for more! Thank you both for the ride back in time. Your both allot younger than I am, but you get it!
I appreciate learning the history of these old pieces of equipment and how they actually physically worked. It gives a lot more context to the sound of the tools that are replicating them now. (And helps to more easily understand things like multi-head delay)
Keep up the good work guys. :)
Incredibly good episode. Thanks guys for all the work you put into this.
That thing is intriguing, like every note is an enigma. Most times lead guitar becomes a snoozefest after a few minutes but I am listening to every passage engrossed in where it's going, like a musical journey, perhaps the best guitar effect I have ever heard
Wow that's the first time a piece of gear has really stood out over everything else, it's impossible listening via RUclips to get that feeling that you would stood in the room but the ECHOREC really comes across. Incredibly lush sounding.... I can only imagine what you guys heard. Love the videos.. keep up the good work.
As a gear nerd myself it always brings me great pleasure when I see the two of you losing your minds over gear! Another GREAT episode.
I love hearing these sounds that sound just like records I'm familiar with. That feeling of hey, there it is, I've heard that before! Good stuff.
That was my favourite The Pedal Show Vid ... awsome!!!
This is one of your coolest episodes. Just love the experimentation with the Binson, and then the Boonar. You both sound great.
great show as always. it's not always apparent over RUclips the subtle differences between sounds, but the echorec definitely sounded much "richer/thicker" than the others. Amazing!
Love seeing these old effects units. More if you can. Brilliant.
Thanks for the most amazing show, guys. So good to see you enjoying the Binson - refreshing to see your reactions to it, and to hear the sounds you coaxed out of it. Took me back to when I first got a good Binson after years of disappointment buying duff ones. So happy to have been able to help out.
+Soundgas Thanks so much Tony - Mick here. It was a truly enlightening experience for me. And him. Wonderful!
I want one of these so bad just to build up a giant Syd Barret swell and unleash it.
TPS is just about my favorite show regardless of the media. It's the only thing that I anxiously await new episodes of. Please keep it up guys - I really appreciate it. Oh and btw... just got patch cables for the G2. This weekend it will be alive and cranking!
How about a Dark Side of the Moon episode- take us through the prominent effects on Dark Side (phaser, univibe, is there echorec on it?) and you could compare various pedals that will get you those sounds, including regular ol' things like the phase 90 and more elaborate things like the Keeley dark side mod station.
+Whiskers B Maybe we could get one of the leading Floyd tribute guys in to help. Way over my head (Mick here). Cheers!
Great idea, but you'd really need to get Phil Taylor (DG's guitar tech and right hand man) to get the absolute lowdown...
Leslie pedals v.s the real deal please please please please please please please please! Neo vent, Strymon Lex, DLS Rotospin, Leslie (pedal), Since Mr. Guilmore used them and is using the Doppolas nowadays. Did i say please????
would also need a much bigger room to fit his rig ha
Get David Domminney Fowler, lead guitarist for Aussie Floyd!
Killer demo video guys! Great way to kick off my Friday night.
Was so inspired by this episode I purchased a Boonar straight away. I learn so much from you guys. Cheers!!
Something in the air. I just happened to have spent the past couple days exploring my Catalinbread Echorec....getting lost in its sounds. Beautiful sounds. thanks for sharing!
Love the Edgar Wallace Riff Mick. I love that theme tune. Took me back to my childhood. Great info again guys keep it coming.
I used to own a PE-603T like the one in the video. The sound they have is unique and still heavenly.
It was amazing and still kick myself for not picking up the other 4 from a junk shop in Brussels (some old PA gear stashed in a 2nd hand junk shop, along with a plethora of meazzi gear).
Nothing comes close to the sound of Binson original units.
Thanks for featuring one in this video.
You guys are so enjoyable and so knowledgable!! Thank you so much for the show. I learn a lot.
Some seriously special tones created with the phase 90 and the JHS!! Massive tones, and Dans face when you went through the Binson at the end!! Classic happy face!!
I am just so pleased to see the wampler bravado head behind mick. Ive got one and I am never letting it go, takes pedals like the amp I have been waiting my whole life for.
Yes! The show I was especially waiting for. Big kudos for getting in all the key machines including the monster original! I was trying to hold off till this show got aired but couldn't hold myself back & ordered the Boonar a week ago.
+stalkek Excellent! You won't be sorry. Try it with an EP boost or similar. Something about that Echorec preamp makes all the difference. Cheers!
SOUNDGAS....... You guys rock!
Many thanks for making this happen and for taking the risk to send the real 'Daddy' off to play with the TPS lads.
Really loved this episode guys, look forward to hearing more discussions over certain eras of music and the popular technology at the time :D
Really enjoyed this episode, guys - wonderful tones!
Hey! I'm that ''someone'' who suggested echorec episod. I'm glad you guys made it! It's such a great experience to hear ''that'' sound from you. Cheers!!
+Burak Yetgin Splendid, thank you. This one was nothing but a pleasure. :0)
Great episode guys!
That Echorec is pure magic, I've only played once the Echorec2 (here in Italy they're not impossible to find) but yours seems to have more controls (not sure!?) and a different richer sound!
See you next Friday, and again, great work!
Damn - thank you again for putting me again into full GAS-sickness. That Muffuletta is still one of the greatest sounding fuzzes you ever had on the show - and - in combination with the Boonar - really something special. And I don't even start to dare dreaming about the Binson :-)
When I think back to my guitar tone before that pedal show the improvement has been immense. I was doing so much wrong. Now I use more effects but at the same time i have a much clearer, more present, better feeling, more reliable, and beautiful sounding tone that I don't think I would ever have achieved without that pedal show. And I haven't spent much more money than I would usually spend on gear in a year. All I've really done is apply what I've learned. That's that pedal show.
+dan abnormal That's awesome Dan, thank you. That's really the whole point of us doing this - to try to just light a few bulbs in people's inspiration. If we're doing that, we're doing our job. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
This episode made the hairs on my neck stand up. Amazing sounds! Thanks, gentlemen. I have the Catalinbread Echorec and have always thought it sounded great--just wished it had detents for the Program Select knob. Really nice to hear them back to back with the Binson.
I have the Catalinbread Echorec and it's one of the most inspiring pedals I've ever owned!
I just bought the boonar - couldn't resist the lush tones. Thanks for that episode!
Thank you guys SOOO very much Thank you Sondgas! That was truly amazing. I'll never get the chance to play a Binson echorec, but now I know what sounds acceptable.
Watching this again because its awesome.
I own an original Binson Echorec P.E. 603-T and can vouch for the fact that no modern pedal I have tried or heard can match it in terms of quality of the sound. So a very interesting show guys, loved it.
Have you tried a Boonar and/or Catalinbread Echorec alongside it? I'm tossing up between these two, as to which to get ... ? Anyone tried both? Ideally, alongside an actual Binson?!
That was awesome. Thanks for that episode guys!
you're so emotionnaly touch by grace of the echoplex, it's just make me love you more than before this épisode! passion, grace and fire!
+Arnaud Noar Thank you! It's what gets us up in the morning.
I think the Echorec is the most accurate approximation of the original. Great demo guys, thanks.
Hi Dan & Mick, Gussy Wells here, just an absolute treat to watch you guys play the Echorec, I have an old EP-3 as you point out correctly it is so easy to get lost while playing...
cheers!!
+Gussy Wells Cheers Gussy. Lucky man. We'd love an EP-3.
From Tone Tribune:
Catalinbread’s Echorec even retains a similar preamp circuit to the original that can be used in buffered mode to help drive long cables while giving your signal path a warm, fat boost that you will not want to turn off.
One neat trick you can do is turn the internal gain trimmer all the way up and switch to true bypass setting inside the pedal. Now when you turn it on your face will melt in a blast of vintage fuzz and echo that you can tame with your volume knob almost like a vintage Fuzzface!
Wow!!! I am speechless....
What a fantastic episode. I will never be the same...
I think I am going to get a Catalinbread Echorec.
Thanks for responding to the requests for doing this (no doubt I was one of many all those months ago!). I have Catalinbread and Echosex2. The latter is less digital, more organic etc than the former and I regularly get lost in the moment playing it. The Catalinbread is good for those 5% of the time moments when I want the crazy repeat patterns. But the main conclusion from this is that when I win the lottery I need to put an original Binson on the shopping list. Anyway, huge thanks and chuffed you've fallen under the spell as well.
+Edward Goodwin Cheers Edward. Much love today for sure. Wooooop!
Been waiting for this since I suggested the Echorec on the Echoplex video, epic!
Bollox. So Now I want this... and there's no way I can sneak this in and just glue it to my board and be all 'What? That? New? No, it's been there for months...'
I Love the show. I can Never get enough of That Pedal Show !!! - ( let's face it ), Delays ( and maybe overdrives ) are 2 pedals I can't live without. . . . It Never Ends. So many choices & options - Great stuff " Once Again " guys.
+Michael Caz Thanks Michael - it's all good fun right?!
Another great show, I've been looking forward to this one for a while. I've had the Catalina bread on my board for about six months and for sheer practicality and price it's hard to beat. Now you will have to find a Miazzi to compare to the Binson.
14:27!!!! Glorious!!!! Absolutely glorious!!!!
Never before have I heard someone other than Gilmour get those four notes so utterly, fantastically perfect... might start a kickstarter to fund purchasing an Echorec for myself ;)
in my youth as guitarist of a cover Band we were lucky to use an Original Binson Echorec, together with Binson PA. Greatest Equipment ever! The nowadays digital stuff cant get near that vintage Sound😎
The Binson sounds much warmer and completely synergistic to the guitar and amp. Gave me instant goosebumps. None of the pedals had the same feel. I purposely listen to all of your videos with my AKG cans even though YT compresses much of your recording, the separation of notes using the Binson was on another level. Thanks for sharing this gents. Made my day.
+TheHitmann069 People keep asking us why we don't much like modelling. This is basically the answer. Cheers!
Echorec’s are my favorite delay effects of all time. There’s some pingy upper harmonic modulation thing that happens that’s pure magic to me. Sounds like tape echo and spring reverb had a beautiful baby. A friend has a very nice studio and had an original unit for years, but it was constantly breaking and/or needed to be cleaned so he never used it!! Think he ended up selling it. Meanwhile I’ve had the Catalinbread on my touring bass pedal board for 7 years 😂
Best video from you guys so far. Keep up the good work
Your reactions and expressions when you hit those classic lush tones with the real Binson are the closest I;l get to knowing what it feels like to play it. Priceless. Thanks so much for sharing your love of sound.
Amazing, as usual... Want a special episode on the RE-201 Space Echo! Please make it happen guys! :)
For what I do every few weeks at the local bar, my Timeline is kinda all I need. But what about what I want??? While I'll never "need" a Binson or need to populate my board with the various (and wonderful each in their own way) iterations of "delays" from tape to drum to analog to digital etc. it's wonderful to experience this along with you guys! Well done, and thanks for a great show!
What ever it is you've got the chops!!!Nice touch boys!!!
morning coffee and TPS are the reason i wake up on Fridays. I fully agree with Mick, the Binson Echorec is the most beautiful piece of gear I have ever seen
+Chris Hepburn Cheers Chris, hope that roast is good this morning!
Great stuff, always wondered how an Echorec worked and sounded. Thanks guys!!!
I've never heard a live demo of tape echo except a full on show which would not be the same as something like you guys just did. I have to somehow have a similar experience. Thanks for another great show
OH yup found it! I thought there was one where you guys sat down and did this one! Made a comment on your newest one about this!
Aaah, my Friday morning ritual, That Pedal Show, and some coffee!
Thanks for the show guys. I particularly appreciate having an alternative to listening to BBC World Service which tends to traumatise me these days. I'm a spoilt violinmaker these days, my wife allows backline in the living room. I was in bands from age 11 to 31 (without a break) so got through some gear. A couple of things. I love my AC30 too and used to run it with a Marshall 50watt master volume combo and then later with a Fender twin. I bought a Marshall Power Brake for the Vox which worked really well. I used to find the sweet point of driving the amp and then just adjust the volume on the power brake. Can't remember losing loads of tone, Just that people seem to suggest online that you do. Another thing. I used to use a Watkjins valve Copycat. When I was a teenager in the 70s Copycats seemed quite common, then Watkins re-released the valve one which I used throughout my career. You don't seem to hear much about them. I remember ringing up the factory to order one and actually spoke to Charlie Watkins, who was really friendly and helpful. Anyway, I wanted to say it has some great features. First of all 3heads,. I generally use two together which gives more of a reverb effect than just one repeat, which I like. I also use a T rex Reptile 2 just before it with a longer echo which I set with the tap tempo. Incidentally the Copycat also has a speed control which really helps to fine tune the feel of the echo. The tape loops are really easy to make up so I just made a bunch and put them in the box ready to change if needed. It was never an issue, and there were times when I was doing 60 gigs a year.
It`s not often that you hear a piece of gear in the `We`re not worthy` class but the Echorec is jaw-dropping, face smacking good ...... absolutely stunning. I agree absolutely also that the pre-amp sounds astonishingly good. Interesting that Xotic have duplicated the EP3 pre-amp with their EP Booster but no-one has attempted to reproduce the Echorec pre-amp .... Maybe because there are so few Echorecs around ( and most of those are confined to studios ) so they aren`t often heard ? Dan coming in his jeans was a sight I could have done without but I can understand his reaction. Sometimes there just aren`t words ................. Thanks guys. Interesting and informative as always.
+John Buxton Cheers John, much appreciated!
It would be amazing if you guys did an episode on speakers (pairing, SPL, wattage, 2x12 vs 4x12) and what to look for as far as matching amps with curtain speakers, and a list of favorites. There's a lot out there about speaker selection but unfortunately there are many conflicting opinions, and its not practical (for me at least) to go the trial and error route. I know it's not pedal related but it does affect your whole sound, Thanks guys, grown to love this channel (Top Gear for guitar)
wow the Bison echorec is awesome. thanks for these shows they are brilliant, more addictive than a house wife watching EastEnders!!
I go out for an hour and the page is lit up like a Christmas tree! Perfect lunchtime video and settling down for a round of repeats... Can't believe Mick didn't know what and Echorec is.. Only gave Pink Floyd their sound on vocals, bass, tape loops and of David Gilmour's and Syd Barrett's sound!! Could kiss the top of Dan's head for this one! Thanks to Sound Gas for making the Binson available.
+SoundsandImages it's a constant journey. It's all a journey. Never been interested in delay til I started hanging out with Dan!
Indeed it is Mick, it depends heavily on what you listen to and also what you play genre wise with whatever band you play with.. Not sure it will fit on your pedal board though!
+SoundsandImages I //might// have acquired the Catalinbread. I think this is the delay sound I've been seeking, but never realised!
Nice! Great sounding pedal, however did you see the secret new Epoch that is coming that was outed at NAMM? I feel your excitement and new found love for delays. of course we could discuss putting two different delays together at the same time... Then you really would be lost and the wife would be off faster than a small sports car with a big engine! Check out Andy Othling's channel, he is an ambient guitar whizz....
Mick, if you really want to drool and cry into the wallet, have a look at the "Specialbinson" channel....
Yes! I asked for a muti-head delay episode, featuring Echorec and Boonar a while ago :P Thank you so much! Fun fact, David Gilmour's been using the Boonar for some time.
I wish I could like it more than once. Well done gents.
Okay, the point around 29:23 when you compare the sound of the Muffuletta/Phase 90/Binson right after the same chain but using the Boonar may be my favorite thing in any of your videos. The joy expressed even though we can't hear you laughing/going apeshit when you hear that glorious sound is internet magic.
+Paul Hogue It was bloody magic in the room too. Wish we could get the whole world in that room to feel it too!
Paul Hogue: This is the exact point that I did a USA dealer search and bought a Boonar (replacing my edited Flashback).
Oh, I'll have to get a Muffuletta. I already have the Catalinbread Echorec.
Woow! a real echorec! sounds massive... thanks guys for the "enlightening" Cheers!!
Man, I´ve watched the part with Binson and Phase 90 like twenty times. Goose bumbs!
The Nemesis has 2 new Binson engines... one for one head and one for four heads ... they sound great.
I really loved this show. It's very interesting seeing how the knobs and features work on a real Binson Echorec. It gives me a lot more understanding of the influence of the originals on our pedals today. Thank you!
Sadly we didn't have an Echorec 2 available for the show - although it's essentially the same as the Binson 603, it has the 12 position rotary switch for head combination selection which is where the Catalinbread took inspiration from.
Soundgas too bad you didn't have a speed tunable w/ bias to loan them. I have one of Marcello's Super Specials. That is a great example of old with new features. You guys are doing great keeping old gear alive for new generations!
Just amazing how thick and huge the guitar sounds due to the preamp of the Binson, very hefty in comparison to the pedals. I think I'm more impressed by that alone, than the delay itself which has the one dark, gritty sound. Totally in love with that preamp, and puts my EP preamp with NOS parts to shame.
When I first got an Eventide it was a single DSP version. The Orville, Eclipse and H8000 are all dual DSP and include a sampler. The trouble integrating them is the MIDI channel switching, so they recommended a Switchblade GL which let's both DSPs change channels with one button. Italo offers a preset library update, I got that for Xmas a few years ago, with Echorec, PCM42, 2290 and some great new shifted delays. Then I wanted to stop feeding it preamp signals so I got a mic preamp and 2 mics, huge difference. I liked that so much I bought 4 more channels and have 6 mics now. Then I wanted to try the digital I/O, used some Hosa format converters to get 2 channels of digital. Right now it is set up with analog and digital I/O. It uses analog because that can be run thru a volume pedal and adds control of saturation. What comes out is both digital and analog. Spoiled rotten, I tried a Victoria Victorilux, and learned how noisy analog circuits are. The spring reverb and tremolo are nice, but when you close mic this amp you capture a lot of noise, so I find myself depending on the digital versions instead. Digital is pristine quality, the Echorec you have likely inspires the need for something cleaner, hence the evolution of signal processing. I understand and appreciate the retro tech, but honestly can't shun the more evolved digital counterparts that are contemporary. Strymon is doing some great algorithms and Neunaber, others are making strides in pedal format, as well as Eventide H9. A special treat is a Sampler used as a looper, the one I use has non signal degradation, no funky processed sound, its quite accurate, easy to trigger and edit, with pitch shift and trim point options. To me, for a lot less $$$$, you can find more modern effects in a single Eventide big box, lossless. I hope one day you try one and implement it to take advantage of their capacity. For example, a mic pre source signal is better than a preamp signal, so much warmer. One 19" rackmount, versus a pedal board, does it compare? Regardless, you sound great Dan and Mick, and you are having fun. That's all that matters.
Fantastic episode guys!
That vintage echorec just sounds extraordinary. I am looking forward to seeing what T. Rex does with it though I don't expect to be able to afford one!! Beautiful sounds today gentlemen!
Right? Been waiting on this one. It's one of the only things I look for at NAMM every year.
Great video. Exactly what I wanted to see!
Great vid!! On the Boonar if you turn the age pot on the side all the way vintage, the internal dip to vintage and the tone down you can get a lot closer. It’s set up to sound like a new unit out of the box.
I agree, this vid doesn't show the boonar at it's best.
Wow. Very cool device and great episod. Thanks for sharing this epic sound.
I dunno what's different with this episode, but both Dan and Mick's guitars are sounding so good.
You guys are awesome. I do believe, by the way, that people WILL feel the difference listening to it in a pub. People will experience and react to higher quality sound just like higher quality visuals.
man, that is PHENOMENAL! too much fun....!
After watching this an Echorec 2 came up for sale near me and I nearly sold a big chunk of my pedals for it...sadly someone got to it about ten minutes before I did but hey got to have a play of it!
fantastic episode. echorec hasn't left my board since i bought it right after it was released. ambience in a box. barely ever even need a verb with it.
Nice vid! I’ve had the echorec, got the boonar on the way. Both sound amazing on here.
Although he didn't use much echo, I'm told that Binson was the weapon of choice used by the late, great (moment of silence) Terry Kath. I was jamming with a guy who was using a Morley, also an "oil can" type of echo. It really was magical. Many years later I contacted Morley and a very nice young man said he had no knowledge of them. This is a kinder, gentler echo, especially when compared to DDL's like my DD4.
that point when Dan has the boonar on and kicks in the phaser is just orgasmatronic! ! it was simply so good, it deserves it's own made up word!!

That Pedal Show well if you go in order muffaphasorechotastic!! awsome! !
Mick is so genuinely in love with the echorec! It's always cool to see someone with so much experience discover something new and be like a five year old on a candy store. :)
+Bear McBride Roger that! I'm currently putting together a board for the new Two Rock and the Echorec sound shall feature somewhere!
+That Pedal Show Although sadly not the old one of course!
Fantastic, I can't wait to hear it with the Two-Rock. I remember you mentioned there's gonna be a whole video about it. That thing with the echorec sound... I don't think it can even get any better!
Soundgas is where I bought my V3 Small Stone Phaser!
