Zero flash. No need for mystical marketing mumbo jumbo. Just good products and someone wjo is real and knowledgable. Kansas and the midwest appreciate you Dave for representing us in a professional and enjoyable way.
Are you telling us the people who brought you Rock Chalk Jayhawk, Arrowhead Stadium, Superman, and Dorothy Gale aren't into flash? Your women's soccer team is The Kansas City Current ⚡. Masten Gregory was literally called the Kansas City Flash. Your nightclub scene is at the "Power & Light District." Kansas City is flashy af.
28:53 Lee is too humble to admit it, but he is such an awesome guitarist! I can't quite describe what it is, but there is a subtlety and sweetness to his playing that is lovely and unique
Lee, great job on the interview and what a fascinating approach to pedals by Browne and his company. Thank you and your team for inspiring me day after day!
What great timing! I just ordered a Carbon V2 yesterday, and am planning for a pedal to use with it in a few months’ time. Atom the obvious partner, but am fascinated by the Gritador. Other thoughts??? (Timmy, Tumnus, etc.)
Axels voice is just so GD obnoxious though trying to listen to what I liked as a kid. Guitar is alright other than Slashes weird lack of vibrato I noticed on November Rain.
I have a Protein. If I was playing live in a band it would be my choice, just for the green side alone. I'd never had a Bluesbreaker type pedal when I ordered the Protein so I really didn't know what I'd get. Try as I might I've never really bonded with the blue side. Playing at home I actually love the extra bass, compression, and gain from my stock ODR1, and paired with a BD2 I prefer it over the Protein. Dont get me wrong though, the dude makes excellent pedals despite my nitpicking. In a band situation I prefer the Protein with its cleaner more hi fi vibe and less bass, but I like to goose it a bit, esp the blue side. The best boost Ive found for it is the Karma Mostortion, set at low gain. Its 3 band eq works wonders, esp for the blue side. I havnt tried but I could prob accomplish much the same thing with an eq pedal. This is all dependent on my usual amp, Carr Rambler, a Fendery kinda thing. For my Marshall DSL20, the Protein is really the only drive pedal I need for it. Even the blue side sounds good to me thru the Marshall's "clean" channel for some reason. I never use the high gain channel on the Marshall, just too much gain for the genres I play. So at home anyway the Protein stays in front of the Marshall, and the Carr gets a stock ODR1 and BD2.
Comparing classical guitar to Yngwie is such an insult to classical guitar captain ;) Yngwie attempts to mimic pieces primarily for violin, his music has nothing to do with classical guitar, and frankly, he couldn’t play those pieces if he tried xD

Totally. Would a thoughtful, savvy guy. Not a salesman.
Browne Amplification - just amazing pedals. Been using the Protein for years. Nothing but stellar product and service.

Completely agree
The Protein is one the best drives ever made, but all Browne pedals are amazing
Only own the Protein but it's probably my # drive pedal. It's unreal.

One of my favorite pedal companies on one of my favorite channels. What is that red thing in the corner and why did Pete put it there
It's for him to know and for you to find out😉
The Fixer Dual Boost/Buffer, oh that tall red thing. Yup not a fixer. 😂
Let's say it a buffer.
Amazing to see Browne pedals getting more and more recognition they deserve!
This was such an enjoyable watch, didnt want it to end- great job to all
I have the T4, holy crap what an amazing muff style pedal. So useable.
Usable fuzz? Like controlling lightning. Chaos - I hate it honestly.
The Protein is a fantastic pedal, both sides are extremely usable, sold my King of Tone, couldn't be happier.
Great products, great guy.....and thanks Lee for asking the nuts and bolts question i think we would all like to know the answer to @ 5:50
The man behind Browne amps looks exactly like you have morphed chappers and the dane into one guitarmaster
but without the puerile penis jokes
Fantastically made and sounding pedals!!!

When will we get a “Captain meets John Mayer”?
There’s a NAM they met him. He said he’d come some day. Been like 6 years lol.
I absolutely love the carbon best sounding bb with my rig
that white one is the sound i like.
GN‘R and Jimi was my starting point too.. actually i‘m stuck there ever since.
also, i need a browne pedal in my life
Axels voice is just so GD obnoxious though trying to listen to what I liked as a kid. Guitar is alright other than Slashes weird lack of vibrato I noticed on November Rain.
Literally just bought a T4 off eBay last week!
did you say what amp you’re using?
Does the protein Cut enough through a Band mix, enough Mids? And Same question for the Carbon X? Thank you very much for your answer 😁

Been through the Marshall Bluesbreaker and Nobels pedals, all I can say is the Protein is far more usable and musical.
El Gritador Is In You're Face 👍🎸 Thick and Chunky Drive Awesome
Love my Protein
my guy 👊🏼
Jason Isbell? Is that you?
Te real question is, Gritador into Carbon X or to Blue Side of Protein?
Lee is such a great communicator and interviewer. You should venture into non guitar journalism some time 😅
did he invent the browne sound?
The T4 should be called a "mid-muff". Seems like a missed opportunity
who's Adam?
🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻
Started on classical for the same reason. Heaven forbid I should grow up and play the devil's music for a living, hee hee.
gritador and a klon PLEASEEE
And people will scoff at these pedals because they're adding silicone-based gain into a valve/tube circuit.
I will always scoff anytime someone adds an electrically-insulating polymer when they should be using a semi-conductor.
Scoff scoff. Oh sorry that was a hairball.
I modded my Girlfriend's big Muff recently , just a nice little Gold Skull piercing .
Ew

Haaah. Haaaa - bully kid on the simpsons.
Why make a switch to turn it off? Um obvious 🤨🤨🤦🏻♂️
Зачем так много болтовни! Больше игры, больше звука! И было бы хорошо указать усилитель и микрофон!
I think I fell asleep … where’s Pete ?
First! Lol
20th is the golden eagle.
It’s white and called protein 😂 is it just me or??
