More than 20+ quality of life added! I'm sure there is more, but these were the obvious ones. What do you think about it? Also, big thanks to 2K and Gearbox for allowing me to play this demo.
PS You can destroy a health barrel while in fight for your life for a 2nd wind too
You can also refill health for free at health vendors. Ammo still charges you.

I think, your revealing just a bit too much about this game; too often and enough to greatly shorten your views from us who are not going to watch a single spoiler video ever. I haven't watched a Joltzdude video ever since wonderlands spoilers started coming out, I feel like I'm kind of drifting away from the joltz community and the cause is lack of actual content, due to jolts making too many spoiler videos all at once.

One quality of life change I'm not too thrilled with is the Enchants being dumbed down. To more specific, the weapon damage buffs being so weak. I loved those 100% weapon damage buffs. When they were around 200% in BL3, that was excessive
Im excited! Legendaries rare and meaningful. Enchantments dont take over the gun. The art looks good. I saw tina drawn in the corner and she looked detailed.

It got to a point in BL3 where you would go "Oh great! Yet another legendery! Bet it doesn't have the anointments I want!"
It just made everything else you could pick up useless trash.
@@weggyocean8691 agree no idea why anyone would say it's rare when a common enemy at like level 10 drops a legendary. Bl2 that was nearly impossible.
@@banchiil It's primarily the frequency of legendaries that can make them rare too. Doesn't matter if it's a level 1 enemy or level 60. If the frequency is toned down, that's fine by me. In BL3, getting legendaries was extremely easy to the point they didn't feel legendary or anything like that.
For the first time in a borderlands game, I didn’t get a legendary until I hit about level 18. I almost started thinking there WERENT any legendaries and googled it just minutes before getting my first legendary from an encounter chest
@@babadraga3114 i didnt get my first legendary in bl2 until level 20 something. I was zero with bore. First play through.
I got it from a legendary loot midget right before the fight. He killed me the first time because i wasnt expecting it. I was debating skipping him because i couldnt do much damage but decided to kill him. He dropped the infinity pistol.
I killed bunker in only a few shots, under 5 seconds. I thought it was a joke boss. I didnt know bore did that.
On my second playthrough, thinking it was a joke boss, i went in with all the confidence of a lion. Only to get squashed...repeatedly. i was super confused and upset. I was either axton or maya the second time through.
In B3, if you played on a Dualsense controller, even on PC, there were two cool little quality of life improvements.
The first is that the controller vibrates slightly to remind you a cooldown has recharged.
The other is that the light in the controller will show you the type of damage your current weapon deals.
red for fire, green for corrosive and yellow for radiation etc.
I hope those make a comeback in Wonderlands.
I feel crazy for being the only one to notice this but the lightbar deal is on PS4 too and it does it to every borderlands game.
@@jorgetello3961 the light bar thing isnt really talked about much because it faces away from the player and is functionally useless lol
Uncalbrated Aimbot I know it’s functionally useless but it always gives me satisfaction when I see it. Idk.. it’s the little details

It feels like they are taking a Pre-sequel style aproach to this game, and I bet we'll see some of these changes and additions in the hypothetical Borderlands 4.
This looks amazing, I’m officially excited for this game. For me personally, BL3 was a bit of a letdown. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t a bad game, the gameplay was great, and it did a lot right, but I dunno man, it’s just lacked that magic BL2 had. This looks really promising, thanks for the breakdown !
In my opinion some of bl3’s comedy felt forced and bl2’s felt perfect
BL2 just had the right mix of Comedy and Drama, and One of the best Video Game Villians ever. the problem with making such a great Villian is they can't really keep bringing him back as eventually it will feel saturated and forced. while at the same time its also gonna be hard to compete with him in future installments. This is why BL2 is still one of my favorites when it comes to story. However I do feel BL3 had better overall gameplay.
Bl3 was trash. I beat the main story one time and never touched it. Bl2 I’ve beaten so many times I’ve lost count
@Lurchstavo it had the best gunplay in the series so far, and made a lot of good changes. It was just shitty build variety and story that killed it

All of the UI of this game looks very different, and i love it, this game looks so good
idk man, looks like borderlands 3 UI with a skin slapped on. Hopefully they don't fuck up Keybpard/Mouse controls again. The UI is practically unusable in Bl3 without a controller

3:00 I literally screamed this makes me so happy. Playing Moze in BL3 Lvl 23 currently and all the loot I've gotten has been lvl 13-16

Awesome! The one QOL I've wanted to see forever is a dedicated keybind for "pickup as junk". I can see on the ground that it isn't better than my gun in hand, I just want to mark it as trash from the ground.
I actually mentioned this to the devs after playing the demo. Hopefully it can be implemented to Wonderlands or even added to BL4.
I feel like a smarter option would be an option to toggle marking certain rarities or brands as trash when you pick them up.
I've made posts on reddit about this bef9re. You should also be able to black list an item.
With each QOL improvement you listed I got more and more hyped for this game

As it stands I have been in love with all the Borderland games. As much as I loved BL3 it just didn't feel right (I loved the perfect guns and pearls), so I'm very excited about wonderlands! The biggest thing I loved hearing is that the weapon tier feels good.
the ui of this game is beautiful. idk why it looks so good but it does!!! it feels so different yet so familiar at the same time

@Joltzdude139 ... i have a question about the legendary object effects ... if i see right in that blurred object, it hat a red line wich means a good object effect if its like bl ... did you can find the definition of that effect ingame, or will there be need of extern pages which explain the "red line effects" again?

That action skill reset has already had a sound for a few installments now. It’s just very subtle.
That meteor spell looks sick
I really hope they also have strong uniques like the orphan maker or the rough rider. Honestly it's nothing other then an asthetic thing, but still felt like it wasn't all just legendaries.
In BL3 you can slide into a barrel and time your melee swing to hit at roughly the same time, which launches it much further. The melee hit can be before or after the slide hit. Does the new barrel system cause the barrel to immediately explode if you attempt this kind of double hit?
Love all your work and I still go through your BL 2 and Pre sequel builds for tips etc but I'm not watching a single video on this until I play it myself. If I could get a reply from you though, does it look like it's worth the wait or are they just milking the legendary dlc from 2?

I wasn't planning on buying this game- and I still might not- but, honestly, it's looking like it might be really great after all. Liking what I've been seeing thus far. The deciding factors for me will be if it runs smoothly on my sad gen 1 Xbox One, and how updates and game balance is handled

i was wondering. Is there gonna be a new game plus feature added in the future not like true vault mode but like just a new game so i could play story over and side quest again but the not new game plus is where i can do all my compilation stuff
thanks for the video. one quick question: does the quests log show the EXP needed to reach each LVL and the EXP for each mission ? in BL3 they removed this information. thanks

I love the interface they went with in this game.
I really hope this turns out good. Borderlands 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I loved BL1, Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, then BL3 was just so damn disappointing. I've played through Borderlands 2 multiple times with all 6 vault hunters and did the same with Pre-Sequel. BL3 lacked interesting and fun legendaries and a decent story. I really hope Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is good but I'm also not going to get excited. Borderlands 3 didn't even feel like the same developers. I mean the voice actor for CL4P-TP didn't even want to take part of it.
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands looks like just good, clean fun without a terrible story to ruin it so I do have my hopes up.
Also when this game inevitably becomes a Epic Game store exclusive at launch I'm just going to wait for it to come up on Steam. BL3 servers made the game almost unplayable between me and my siblings. I'm patient and can wait for it to come on Steam this time now that I know how bad Epic Games servers are.
I just hope they don't go full woke pandering mode.

Were you able to go thru any of the fast travels? Curious as to how it's setup. I didn't care too much for BL3's but BL1&2 were good. Also am curious as to how far into the game do we have to play in order to get the 'top view open world gameboard'? In the trailer we seen big-headed chibis it showed we could move around the game when it wasnt in combat.

Good video man! My only question that wasn't answered and I hope you know, is that when you had an anointed weapon back in B3 you only got the affect if you had the weapon out in use. In Wonderlands, is this still the case or is it as long as you have it equipped to your character do the enchantments give you the bonuses?

I was hesitant to the game at first but frankly these changes are just so good I have to play now. No matter how much I harp on Borderlands I still love it.

1:27 I'm surprised they didn't do this in Borderlands 3 as they had this feature in Battleborn; honestly would be nice to do it again
fun fact i found out that tediore weapons that summon, count as companions and gain graveborn companion bonuses! and also increase stacks for the class skills.
I've been asking for a km/miles unit of measurement next to the objectives on screen for years. That way I can cycle through quests with the d-pad and see which objectives are the closest to me with out needing to constantly pause the game and swap between the map and quest log.

That meteor that hovers in place... I want that... I want to use that with the Spellslinger's capstone which gives gun crits and chance to reset spell cooldowns. I want whatever version of the Hellwalker exists in Wonderlands and to pair it with that meteor spell.
That could happen, a lot of guns from Doom would fit right in a fantasy setting like Wonderlands. I'm hoping there are legendary weapons based on Percy's guns from Critical Role, and a legendary rifle based on the Topaz Annihilator from the D&D 5e book Fizban's Treasury of Dragons.
Enchantments sound neat. If they are on melee and spells it means you can have more active at once, so while weaker, they are stackable essentially depending on the nature of them. I'd be interested to know if they are themed for the gear slot or not. Like is movement speed on cast only on spell enchants or can you get that also on gun or melee, potentially stacking them to take advantage of stabbomancer's speed adds evasion and damage abilities? Or maybe for melee it's movement speed after melee kill or something?
The rarity balance is BIG for me!
I liked overleveling! That was the only way i could initially get through the game until i had the mechanics down. Having gear on your level is a good change.
Agreed. Also, it was nice to just run through areas that you had already been to. This should really be an option you can turn on and off.

GearBox SoftWare never disappoints me. I am anxious to play this and they always make amazing trailers. This looks like the most polished Borderlands to date. Finally, a complete experience with characters and things we all love.
I think I can say we are all very excited for this. Personally I think the recent games that have come out (vanguard) have been really boring or just not good, but I think if this game is done right we could have an amazing game. Maybe even better than Borderlands 2.
I wonder, are blue/purple weapons with red text still a thing? They were sometimes like as powerful as legendaries.
Also i hope they did not remove lost loot storage :D
Hey, big question that I can’t seem to find the answer for. I am a console player that has swapped over to keyboard and mouse, going back to controller feels sluggish and hard to control after so long with M&K, will wonderlands have M&K support, or is this a question that has not yet been answered. I will buy the game either way, as I am a long time borderlands fan, but if they do let you plug in a mouse and keyboard, it would be an instant buy for me.
I really hope this game lets you save build loadouts
The health barrels are amazing if you're playing a Spellshot sheildless build which is really good because you can get rough rider buff on any sheild now it's just a modifier move speed when depleted.
And imagine if you could farm for a on level fast ball at any level In BL2 you can do that in this game.
i believe the sound when your action skill is ready has been a thing since bl2

I hope they nail the balance between Legendaries and Non Legendaries, plus their rarity. BL3 all but killed any excitement over getting a legendary, would be good to go back to BL2 and before days of getting excited when you get a drop :)
