Better late than never. Sorry I didn't finish all the commentary. My love for Wonderlands died so I just couldn't push through with the rest of the commentary. Either way, the routing was fun to do and I didn't want to scrap the project. I hope you guys enjoy

@@Joltzdude139 from how it seems...Wonderlands is pretty much "done" when it comes to content. No news about ANYTHING about the future or what ever. It will end up like TPS and GBX needs to do something.
At least we can hope for bl2 remake, still.

honestly don't play the game, a great way to show the devs that a game is pretty bad and they treated it badly is by not playing or buying it. It was a real power move on joltz's part to uninstall that game on stream
I could never actually find a play though of this game that didn’t either edit everything out & go straight to farming or chaos chambers and I don’t wanna watch a bunch of stream vods, so I’m really glad you decided to finish the segmented run.
I don’t have the game yet, but I would like to get it eventually.
i started watching you a couple months ago just after recently re-discovering the joy with borderlands and since this is my first time with dlcs ive found your jakob alliegence zer0 and ultimate sal a huge help and have discovered the whole parts system, currently trying to get that damn 6+ money shot for ultimate sal

I know this is kinda meme-y but ur actually right. That represents exactly how I and maybe many in the community feel about how gearbox handled this game. I'm mot speaking for everyone but I can feel it and I'm sure others do too. I feel betrayed. I had 100% faith getting this game and season pass with confidence itll be more than worth it. Ive never felt so fucking slapped in the face with the "content" we got. My feeling might be a bit amplified since my wife is the one who spent the money this time for the "ultimate whatever", when I did it for bl3 last time, so for it to be just... so far off the mark, i feel terrible suggesting we can, without a doubt, get the "ultimate edition season pass included" thing and itll be worth it. Like it wasnt even a question in our minds whether itd be good or not. We all knew itd be. So ya that made me feel lost. What was once so sure is so fragile now.

Love seeing the speed runs, I figured a short time like this was possible since my "normal" run was 2-3 hours.
I just started replaying Wonderlands this last week. It’s more fun coming back to it than it was on release. There’s parts I enjoy about it and others that are disenchanting. All part of the path to making a killer BL4!
Ive been playing borderlands sooo much 2 years ago, bo1,bo2,bo3 i loved it. I quit playing games but i saw this in my feed and this game looks so nice and good, ive aleays watched u Joltz and i loved the game play and the challenges u did. Im watching this vid now for nostalgia and i miss it so damn much. Keep on the good work Joltz even tho i dont play the games anymore its always fun to see u playing it 🙌🙌🙌
I’m so glad that you released this video anyways despite your waning interest in the game! I platinumed this game on PS5, and all I have to say is that the side quests are better than the main story. All of my entertainment of the run came from character dialogue and some area names. I did enjoy some of the farms, but the drop rates seemed slightly to low outside of the chaos dungeon. Once you get there, it is a grind fest for the same loot over and over at a slightly higher level each time. Overall thoughts after about 80 hours of grinding platinum trophy, this is a phenomenal game if you are a more casual player that doesn’t delve deep into the lore of the borderlands series. For those of us that do, as I have platinum on every borderlands game, it just really lacked the replayability, literally and metaphorically.
So pissed I loved the concept being able to design my character and the multi classes gearbox this game deserves love

I mean it made me a little sad to have no full commentary on the run and some of its tricks but i can't point and blame. Wonderlands just isn't like borderlands. It's still a very cool video and I'm thankful for the upload despite the hesitation . Also I hope your alright joltz, hope everything went/goes well with the surgery and health related topics
Wonderlands was an incredible game until you complete it. Great story, great side missions and felt very fresh but after the 1st maybe 10 at a posh chaos chambers it got boring and repetitive. I also ain't a fan of the whole Voltaic thing if thats what its called
You do an amazing job doing speed runs, I never do them out of fear of getting killed by the enemy. Some enemies can kill you quickly on several levels. Keep up the good work, my friend!

This is my first experience with wonderlands, only thing I can tell you about it is that The Fatemaker... Is lost.
The Fatemaker... is *not* lost! 🥳 Too bad this game crashed and burned like it did. Either way! Very well done. I can't imagine the amount of planning and testing that must have gone in to this. Also, I just watched you and K6 playthrough with you as Gaige and K6 as Maya. This feels oddly similar. You just shooting in the floor or whatever to kill things 😅
Even with wonderlands being as it is this was still pretty fun to watch

The moment Joltz said he couldn’t finish the commentary since his love for wonderlands died says a lot about wonderlands as a whole, as someone who never beaten borderlands 2 or pre sequel because I lacked motivation to play it and only beaten Borderlands 3 and Wonderlands, Wonderlands was kind of a letdown compared to Borderlands 3 for me
BL2 and pre sequel is worth the playthrough for the story. I can't play them anymore because they just feel awful to play coming back to them I dont see the appeal personally but, the story for handsome jack alone is good enough. 3 and wonderlands spoiled me gameplaywise too much.

It's so sad to see you lose your passion for other Borderlands titles. It happened with the pre-sequel, Borderlands 3, and now Wonderlands. I respect your decision to stick with Bordlands 2 since it's the one you love most, but I still hate to see interest in the other games die out. Thanks for not scrapping the video, although many people did not like Wonderlands, I really enjoyed the game so to see a speedrun from you is pretty cool.

Hi Joltz! first time being this early, i've never been in the video the same day it was released. been a Subscriber since the borderlands 1 custom maps. Perhaps you could do a Tips and Tricks Video for borderlands 2 and continue borderlands 1 custom maps. Anyways love you joltz, 95% of my borderlands knowledge is thanks to you!
I enjoyed Wonderlands for what it is, it feel like the team played through a DnD campaign and then wrote down their best stories that they had from that campaign (mostly because there always someone trying to seduce some inanimate object, for my party, it was a Tiefling with a lock. ...it was like a duck...) but the lack of a post game and the chaos chambers kinda spoiled the finish of the game. sure it was fun for the side quests and the main quests but the chaos chambers are just ugh, all of a sudden there's a raid boss that's 20x more difficult than anything else in the game that far and the previous chaos chambers was a cake breeze.

Really sad that Wonderlands ended up feeling like a cash grab. The excuse they gave for DLC being bad of them “experimenting with things” is just disappointing.
I felt the same way for BL3, dropped the series since. Its a shame cuz i loved BL1 and 2.

Wonderlands is actually pretty great. Could've been the best game in the entire Borderlands franchise with some tweaks. The main problem is it lacks story dlc and a good way to do dedicated farming. We basically got shafted with 4 headhunters and 1 new skill tree being the entirety of season 1. And a season 2... well Gearbox and 2k have been pretty quiet on anything relating to that. In fact, I think the words Wonderlands and Season 2 in the same sentence are non-existant.

I've been playing Borderlands since around 2010-2011 with the first game when I bought a 360 in high school. I absolutely loved the first 2 games and was a bit disappointed with the next 2 in the series. I was more hyped for Wonderland than I was for BL3 but was disappointed to the point I never even finished a playthrough. Really is a shame I just feel like the modern games haven't met the expectations of many fans. I wish developers would communicate with their fans more, see what people love and hate about certain games.
