    My 05' PT / GTs slave cylinder is bad. I was really hoping for vin "G" but nope, I have vin "S" which means an internal slave. They need to make the engineers who design this crap to work on their own creations, thanks Chrysler! I guess I'll be on my back in the driveway all weekend, yea.... 😒

      perfectionclutch That sounds horrible! I miss my 72' Skylark, it was pleasurable to work on.

      Imagine you take your 05 gt and some other idiot that owned it first removed the reservoir .. a s VIN and g vin should be the same

    • @edpenkalski8937
      @edpenkalski8937 2 года назад +2

      And the g vin is the same system as this

    Having the bleed screw at the bottom just proves that auto Engineers are way overpaid for the idiocy that they produce

    i have a question about the clutch for this car. i purchased your clutch kit for my pt cruiser and i don't have any references as to the how many inch pounds or pound feet of torque i need to tighten the pressure plate on to the flywheel. can you help?

  • @jheard6745

    How did the clutch get bleed?

  • @joeycottontailakajoeschmo3366
    @joeycottontailakajoeschmo3366 3 года назад +3

    Attempted the reverse bleed with my cheap harbor freight reverse bleeder and nothing but a tired hand and a big gooey mess when i pull off the zirc fitting from fluid streaming out, it's like a lonely friday night.
    What next? Order a better bleeder$, take to mechanic$$$ or get a girlfriend$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?

    I have a 2003 Pt GT but it's automatic. I have a very Loud piston like knocking sound when my car is at a very low idle? The car runs Great and the Automatic tranny works fine. It's absolutely normal with no sounds when driving it. It only makes that "marble in a cup" noise when it is at a very low idle. For instance- when I turn the air on and just before it kicks back up to normal idle. I took it into 2 different shops to see if they can find out where it is coming from they both said it's from the transmission. Sounds like the torque converter/Flex Plate? Maybe a bolt is loose or possibly came out? I am having a hard time visualizing it or where it is? Also if I keep driving it would that bolt wreck anything? Car runs great and the tranny seems to shift normal and has lot's of power and you can't hear it at all until it's at a low idle. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

    So is it a common occurrence for the bushings for the shifting cables to wear out and go missing? Had that issue with my 2002.

    Sir i noticed that the motor 2000 cc with manual trans .. is it from factory made like this ? Or you replaced it from auto trans..
    Why i say that because it is the first time i see 2000 cc with manual trans
    All manual trans use 1600 cc !!
