I just wanted to say thank you for listening to your fans. It was pretty much unanimous that we ALL wanted a lot more of these "What it's like to live with" videos, and you've been delivering in spades. You're awesome, Miles.
Thank you for the support and feedback! I'm definitely getting the message and there are many more 'day in the life' videos on the way.
@@MilesPerHr I can't wait! You put out some real good stuff. Happy New Years, good sir!
Ur killin these day in the life vids. Excellent variety of cars subtle humor without fishing for laughs lol. Keep it up Miles 👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you for the encouragement!
The goat of POV drivers
do more of these living with- videos pls... i like these format too.
Plenty more on the way!
Both blues are 10/10 💪
I waiting for this video bro finally yay🎉
I really enjoyed this video it was fun and practical. Thanks bro!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the encouragement!
Awesome review. Thank you brother. I really want one now. ❤
Thank you for such a great video! Dream car🍿You living dream live!
Happy New Year 🥳 Appreciate you test driving The Mustang ❤️👍🙂
I had a 2019 GT performance pack 1. The active exhaust was key to keeping the neighbors slightly less p'd off. I loved it , and am seriously considering the s650. However, it really works for me, only as a second car.
Subscribed 👍🏾 for the good content, but mostly cuz you seem like a chill dude
Loved the video! Great to see (and HEAR) you shifting into 2nd at 4200 rpm and into 3rd at 4700 rpm.(Obviously, that's why you're getting 11mpg - LOL - it's worth every penny!)
I love this type of video, its different and very cool
I'm so glad you enjoy these videos - more coming
I never been a Ford person, but the Dark Horse was almost my 1st one. Great Video!
I had one of these hot rods last weekend and was super impressed. It felt like an extension of my body immediately.
Love this idea! now we just need this with a darkhorse. +sound systems ;)
Love the Mustang and love driving my 2024 VW Golf R in manual. Not many manual options left out there. Row on brother 👍🏼
I have a 2019 Toyota Camry and 2021 Mustang GT and my god those Mustangs seats are back saving
Nice review. I'd be interested in a Mustang GT w/o the magneride suspension (because I don't need the performance pack) and how the ride quality performs with the A/T.
I used to be worried about that Mustang crashing stigma being attached to me, but then found out everyone that knows me couldn't even imagine me driving in such a way that my car could spiral out of control. Maybe it's from 99% of my time driving in my life has been driving a V8-powered vehicle (even if not a sports car).
Too many people think they can't outdrive the car but forget that they're just outdriving themselves. There's a measure of respect you have to have for the machine and your own abilities before pushing things to their limits.
You're good.
My 22 GT manual has full adaptive cruise control with auto correcting lane keep assist. It may be an option on the S650 too but im not sure.
Another great vid miles!
Thank you!
Dream car
California dreaming ❤😊 thanks Miles
Love the grabber blue
I rode in the car Christina has, Same car same year same everything, this car was a taxy. Great handling, The Rab4 is amazing!
We need more days in the life!!
More coming!
you just got a big fan from S.Korea
I love these types of video by miles.
I'm glad you like them! More on the way
Love the color. It is very tempting to get the manual for the fun and to keep family and thieves from wanting to drive it.
Keep making these videos‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
You got it!
does the car save your settings? such as the rev match and the mode you have it in, also the exhaust setting. or does it default to a setting every time you turn the car off?
Interesting colour
Hey I recognized the road you were on by the bridge underpass. It’s 17th st in SA right? I used to live there as a kid went to Sierra and SAHS. I Live in TX now brought back memories from when I used to skate down 17th going to Sierra Intermediate 👍🏽
Good job. Not too many people know how to drive a manual correctly
i knew the city looked familiar! 😂 thinking of trading in my 16 stang for this grabber blue gt
Update with tremec and Whipple supercharger..would like to see if you had the same headache with tuning like I did. Ended up just selling the car, was sad 😢
Mustang over the Z for sure. It's all about that N/A 5.0 baby!
Pretty funny. I see the same features missing here that I wish my 19 GT had. Trunk fully opening when pressing the release. Adaptive cruise control and remote start. I get the last two are because of the 6 speed manual. But I can imagine that Ford would have sensors in place to allow those features to work when allowable or safe.
Ive been living with my 2004 GT manual in screaming yellow for 20 years. So i know you can do it! 😂
two super nice cars meanwhile I am here with my few times wrecked 98 5 speed Sentra 😂
I bet people in your neighborhood probably think this guy has so many cool cars 😂
Most of them know the story now, but every so often, I meet a new neighbor that has a LOT of questions 😆
"What it's like to live with..." videos I think are SOME OF THE BEST car reviews on RUclips right now. You're killing it Miles, keep it up!
By the way, the only thing I actually dislike about this car is the fact Ford made everything electronic. A/C controls? In a menu. Parking brake? Electronic. It's the most annoying trend in the entire industry. Then to cut even more corners, and I'm talking about a lot of manufacturers here as well, they just stick 2 tablets on top of the dashboard as if amenities and gauges are simply an afterthought. It annoys me very much, especially in BMW's and Merc's.
Is the noise still partially artificial from a speaker? My 2018 mustang has this: but to disable the microphone you gotta pull down the rear seat headliner and disconnect it. Noticeably quieter.
That speaker added engine sound is only on Ecoboosts, I assume your Mustang is one.
V8 models give you the real thing 👍
Food or drinks other than water will never enter the interior on my 24 gt pp lol. That color is awesome! I went vapor blue here.
I do a lot of highway miles, but been averaging nearly 19mpg on my 10 speed auto 24 GT. Better than my 16 Taco TRD sport.
no v8s will get you good mpg 😂 even if you in your best behavior😊 same with v6s
I love your mustang beautiful car.
It's not his car. Dealerships lend him all these cars for him to review them
Correct, it's not my car. But, I don't work with dealerships. These are loans directly from the automakers.
@@MilesPerHr Pretty cool love your reviews they are different.
@@MilesPerHr I love your blackwing 😍 my dream sedan
graber blue is fire. on camera it looks the same
What are you using for a camera on your head?
My 18 GT manual was like living with a loaner. Biggest lemon I've ever owned in over 50 cars.
are you in the San Diego area?
I am used to a Turbo on my Subaru WRX, so I don't have to worry too much about the power band. What is it on the Coyote with the 6-speed manual?
It has very little power low down. You gotta wring it up to 4k if you want to get anywhere briskly. But it's good if you drive slow anyways.
@@nutcase4.4 that's what I hate about these entry level muscle cars
@@evan.435 Unfortunately that's the tradeoff for 7500rmp and nearly 500hp out of an NA motor. It's the one thing I do miss about my Ecoboost. Hundreds of torques right at 2k rpm
What's that knocking noise on startup
I started to hear the same but believe it or not I think it was the startup music from the media unit. After a few replays that’s what I now hear.
the camry running the red was hilarious
I grew up with a shift from a 70 GTO to a 1998 Contour Sport. But with a 1k gas guzzler tax on the MT, I figured I was getting the Auto for $595.
nice moment of silence for the tunnel true car guy B)
Two baby blue cars? 💙
My 2021 manual has adaptive cruise....
I prefer this rear end actually. I never liked the last one.
Does your neighbor ever be like "This guy and a new car already, what does he do for a living?" lol
Hi does the car has ambient lighting?
Yes it does inside.
We're riding with ya.
🫡
Never seen the 22 freeway with so little traffic.
I would like to see a Camaro zl1 day in the life with it
is no one gonna talk about him being on a call at the beginning?!
0:18 ooou that’s a NICE car 😂
Miles casually incriminating some random dude on a camry: 5:56
can you show us in another episode "how to eat large pizza" with the help of the center console?
Love the color but attracts too much attention for me sadly. Nice spec nonetheless highly considering one end of year because i’m not sold on the interior design bc if the tv design but everything else looks new and nice which is what i like.
You said blackwing I feel poor 😢😂
Bro was making a phone call at 1:44
Could u do the Audi R8 gt?
Would love to - but there isn't one in the press fleet so I'd need to find an owner car.
The screens in that car take me back to 2016 technology. It makes me sad how the touch screens and responsiveness of those screens use such old technology.
Tremec swap asap
POV I finally got a cool car
Bro go to work and went on lunch in less than 5 minutes😂
Finally a manual
pov: living in heaven
Need your help🙏
As a trash man please space your cans farther apart lol thank you. Beautiful cars
Camaro vision has never bothered me at all. This could be a future replacement for my Camaro 2SS given they’re not making it anymore.
Do you actually go to work and then actually have your lunch break?
😆 nah, just simulating a commute situation. Having fun with it
@@MilesPerHr ok that’s what I thought was just curious
the color blindness says nope. their the exact same :D
how they still have back seats is mind boggling
I need those back seats so I'm grateful for them😂
Only the dark horse comes with Getreg. The GT comes with an MT-82.
The MT-82 is made by Getrag. The Dark Horse has a Tremec.
I liked the video 1 because it’s a mustang, and he reversed into his parking spot like a man😂
CAUSE IM 6 inches FROM THE EDGE
I thought your job was 100% youtube. What do you do?
I can't believe how expensive these are now
Yep, i remember when a regular GT was 35 grands
It is all the unneeded safety garbage and technology.
@fortheloveofnoise9298 no lol. It's from covid shortage. Supply chain is greatly disrupted and, of course, inflation on top of that.
The z seems like a better drivers car.
is this Patrick Bateman?
The fact that Ford removed the stick from the Ecoboost, further cuts into their Mustang sales. If ever there was a company that continues to 'shoot itself in the foot'; Ford is it....
The Getrag MT-82 is still garbage and is a cost saver Ford was not willing to risk in the Dark Horse or Mach1. Both of those models get a Tremec transmission. In short if you have a problem with the MT-82 Ford will blame you!
Not really, just get a shift kit. Several are available.
@@billymania11 An aftermarket shifter helps, but does not fix the issue. To solve the problem, you need a built trans or swap to Tremec. Doing either one will void your warranty. IMO, The MT-82 should only be in a light duty truck or SUVs not a muscle/sports car.
Don't agree. You're making a mountain out of a molehill.@@Dangerous_Drivers_of_CA
@@billymania11 If you had experienced what I had, I'm sure you would agree. Just google "MT-82 problems", CJ Pony is a top result and highlights the issue very well. I'm sure at least 51% of the MT-82s are fine, but a huge percentage are flawed.
I've driven stick my whole life without an issue like this. My 2023 GT 6 speed would grind or lock out only going from 2nd to 3rd gear at about 4k-4.5k RPM with about 2/3 throttle. Every other gear shift combination and RPM was flawless. Ford techs could not duplicate it and said it was me speed shifting. Ultimately I spoke with the owner of the dealership and I traded my 2023 6 speed for a 2024 with a 10 speed perf pack model. BEWARE of the MT-82!
@@billymania11na, it's fine for the Ecoboost, not for the GT...but they took it away from the Ecoboost....evil
Eating that nasty food in the stang 🤢
Whats it like to live in a car that drives just like any other car? lol
You guys think he really goes to “work”? Isn’t this his job?
This is my job, yes. Just having some fun with a simulate commute.
@@MilesPerHr haha! Love it! 👏🏾
One thing I dont understand about americans is why if you have a garage park your car outside
Because most people use their garages as extra storage space. Also older houses that were built before the 2000s garages are too narrow to fit the average modern car.
Ford needs to grow some balls with the auto start. that car has all the sensors needed (even in a manual) to add auto start. It knows if the e-brake is on, it knows if the transmission is in neutral, it has anti lock brakes so it knows if wheel movement happens. Or.....they could do what viper or compustar does for manuals which is a process for activating auto start when you leave the car the night before. exiting the car while running, locking doors and that tells the system its ready for auto start the next time, only way auto start works.
Rev matching is only for people who don't know how to drive a stick.
