I've got this in all black, got it for MSRP with a few other options like active exhaust out the door for just shy of 63,000, after some dealer options from Ford like protective coats and service plans. Much more than you would expect a few years ago, but in this economy (old man yells at cloud) I'm glad I could get it since it's a dream car for me. I absolutely love it, the screens remind me of the old Star Trek TNG bridge piloting stations, and it is an absolute joy to drive in manual around town. Couldn't be happier, but I do agree it would be nice to run 3rd to redline sometimes, but it just goes too fast too quick. Backseat space is basically unusable for people over the age of 12, but I just tell people it's a two seater with upholstered grocery holders. Good video!!! What’s cool about the Mustang is that with only a few bolt-ons you can get the car to 500 rwhp. With some lighter rims & some Steeda suspension you can very quickly enhance the Mustang way above the Camero SS & any other competitors. If you order the car with PP you are crazy not to also include the AE exhaust to secure the 6 hwp & 3 torque. I have seen over 7 videos where dyno results pick up another 12-17 rwhp by yanking the carbon filters out of the dual intakes. Add an AWE exhaust + kooks headers w/sport cats + 170 thermostat & a Ford performance tune or Whipple tune or RTR tune and tuned to E85 fuel and you easily have 540 rwhp. Seen this done now on over 20+ S650 Mustangs & 560-570 rwhp on the Dark Horse. The total cost is ~~~$5K, which includes the stop-the-hop Steeda & dual-rate springs + full exhaust. Now let’s see the other cars match that. Plus Whipple SC generation 6 Stage II kicks out 855 hwp for $12K installed with matching 3 year warranty with the Ford provided ECU/ECM Encryption. Ford provided the encryption to Whipple, RTR & Ford Performance/ Roush!!! So the better driving S650 over the S550 can be daily driven with 855 hwp without building your motor; (OPG + crank sprocket). Two years later get the carbon drive shaft for longer durability:) The 7 gen Mustang is the better interior comfort for daily driving over all the other competitors. Wait for the second version of this S650 the wacky Tesla like screens and no switches or buttons is a bit of a Ford experiment to see if people like it , If we go off what Ford did with S550, the second iteration will be much better, like we saw the FN was a million times better over FM. I think Ford will go back to some classic buttons and switches and increase HP and better give us a much better 10sp auto thats shifts more smoothly quicker than the clunkier 10sp that we got on the FN GT 5.0 , plus different hood for the very last Mustang in 2025 26 .
@jaaytv2839 Sorry Jay, you're naive if you think that. If you were driving a Porsche PDK, or even the DCT in the C8 Corvette, I would concede. Which of those four would I have? Neither, I'd rather the M340i, even if I had to pay a little more, or find a 1yr old example.
I would like to have a better laptop for watching better these reviews.
Wait for the second version of this S650 the wacky Tesla like screens and no switches or buttons is a bit of a Ford experiment to see if people like it , If we go off what Ford did with S550, the second iteration will be much better, like we saw the FN was a million times better over FM. I think Ford will go back to some classic buttons and switches and increase HP and better give us a much better 10sp auto thats shifts more smoothly quicker than the clunkier 10sp that we got on the FN GT 5.0 , plus different hood for the very last Mustang in 2025 26 .
i just hate how electric everything is, digital gauges? ughhhhhhh
Gen 6 was the best IMO.
Why modern cars steering feel so vauge. Why manufactures do not make it perfect from factory for some cars
By the way disappointing car for steering feel but your videos are amazing
Because they use electric power steering systems now
Gearing looks terrible, gen 2 pulled way harder then my 2020 and 2022
I just don’t get why people would say a manual gearbox is superior to an automatic, when the auto can shift gears all you want 🤷🏽♂️
Driver engagement, that's why.
@@amiller2121 👎 I can engage the same amount with an automatic by using the paddles, just more work on a light to light basis
@jaaytv2839 Having paddles does not mean you're in control of the transmission. That's fine if they're okay for you, but they are not the same.
@@amiller2121 if paddles SHIFTERS change the gears , then it controls the transmission guy
@jaaytv2839 Sorry Jay, you're naive if you think that. If you were driving a Porsche PDK, or even the DCT in the C8 Corvette, I would concede. But automatics in regular cars don't always shift when you want - the computer decides if it's going to let you. Manual transmissions don't have that problem.
It’s 2024, where is my extra tire and ambient lighting? smh.
I know its a mustang but that doesn’t look comfortable to drive the way it hits the bumps lol
S197
I got 4.72 in my 24 EcoBoost
too bad it has the steering feel of a video game. I'll pass
wow they botched the front bumper ,,brutal to look at
Looks like a bootleg Camaro…😂
The small dumb shyt you guys find to complain about, is hilarious. You want better blind spots go buy something else….This is a Mustang….
