I Spent $100 Promoting my Instagram Account...

To learn how digital advertising works I spent $104.99 on a seven day Instagram campaign. A lot of people saw it. Not many people followed me.

i would DEFINITELY recommend customizing your audience!! i promoted a picture of just myself, spent 3 dollars for 2 days, and reached 50,000+ people

@@tyhez just use the “custom audience” setting and set your own audience, i put myn to be women in the USA aged 18-25 and that gives me good numbers

@@simxxn i reached 600 and something likes, usually i get mid 250s so i had to stop it on the first day because getting that many likes would look weird haha

Agreed, definitely not hating on Facebook/insta ads especially for products but for advertising a profile/person I just can’t see the engagement being high enough to be justify the cost

@@MaxMitchell im a year late on this but to be honest it depends on who you gear your post to, i customize my audience to be towards women from 18-25 and i spent 3 dollars for 2 days and reached 50,000+ people, definitely customize your audience !

Solid video. I think results would’ve been better if you would’ve broken up the money between multiple post on a smaller demographic that way the same smaller group see all the ads and click on your profile.

I agree, having people see a wider range of pictures (and assuming/hoping that they like them) should eventually lead to more people clicking thru and converting to followers. Thanks for the feedback!

It depends on what you boost... if its not intresting enough... people wont click on it bro...

that's too much to just throw on an ad for a random audience, you gotta do like $3 for 3 days or so on an optimized audience I use that and get like 300 -700 likes and 40-60 followers every time I boost an instagram post
