As someone just now getting started on my Instagram profile, this video was one of the most helpful I've seen recently. I can see these practices in a couple of the other videos I've seen recently
I started out editing on my computer and it took me way longer. Was too easy to be a perfectionist. Took at least an hour to edit a 1 minute video with all the right cuts and sound effects. When I started editing on tiktok, it became way easier and I got more views.
@@gracewhiston5405hello, i’m not the og but i would recommend using after effects, premiere pro, capcut or davinci resolve (first two paid, last two are free.
@@funnyanimals6196 glad I wasn't the only one. Normally there's at least a few gold nuggets in any video, but this one literally told us nothing and was pre self promotion
Key takeaways: 1- Understanding the algorithm 2- Formulate content to increase audience retention and watch time 3- Structure the content, idea, hook, value 4- Grab attention instantly by using the proper hook 5- Give value to the viewer through your content, incase you get viral, so they will instantly follow 6- Learning how to film, to provide high-quality videos 7- Learn how to edit content, repurpose it 8- For advance editing, use a computer instead of a phone 9- Learn to monetize your IG
Hey man, love your content, and this is a great game plan for IG. I wanted to point out though, some people are still getting ads on the reels. It’s definitely not enough to quit your day job, but if you release reels every day that are going viral, you can add some side income.
As superproduções distanciam as pessoas.
RUclips is so different to IG. IG wants you posting so much and stories. RUclips keeps pushing my content out if people are searching for that topic. I feel people have more patience on RUclips for a longer video compared to ig which are normally 4-7 seconds long but you need really good hooks, captions, and style.
But I feel like editing on my phone is so much faster because you don't have to deal with like dragging the clips together like when you have the clips on your phone it just like when you drag it it just goes to place you know what I mean like how do you deal with that like when you're editing on the computer and every time you have to drag all your clips back to the last clip??
have u or anyone u know try testing reach before and after switching from PERSONAL to CREATOR account? (to see if switching actually does affect reach)
whenever I post a reel only my friends (followers) can see it, I do not have any likes from strangers, like it has not been pushed to the broader audience but just my followers... Do you have any advice?
Hey! I’ve been studying your videos and your content is awesome. I’ve had an account for over 10 years and used it fairly poorly, drifting out the odd piece of semi decent content and using it as more of a personal account, however I am determined to start using it as a professional tool to share my music. Would you recommend deleting and reopening the account now that I have all of your tips in mind, or is an account salvageable once the instagram algorithm is sharing my content to basically nobody, and has no idea who to share my content to in what is now a very old account? Thanks, Drew.
Getting my dream car this year in June a new body manual camaro 2ss with quad exhaust tips, sunroof, and white interior I don’t know the exterior color yet
I have a question, I own a sony a6700, and apparently it only accepts luts 33 points and not 65 points. Are your luts from the web page selly a 33 or 65 points kinda lut ?
It can be anything you want. If your account was teaching photography, you could start a paid community where everybody can discuss and learn new things, share tips and tricks they've learned, etc. If it was fashion, you could start your own clothing brand. For whatever it is you're doing, figure out your audience, identify a problem they might want solved, and offer them a solution. You could also do what all the meme accounts do and just do promotions for other people that they pay you for. But that's boring, and your audience won't like it. The sky is the limit, really. Just find something profitable that provides value to your audience, and don't try to cut corners or make quick money from your audience. Provide REAL value, and be authentic. You got this!
Curious to know, if Instagram is no longer a place where you can monetize your content, how and why do you want to master that specific platform? Is assume it’s good to have great content across both IG, TikTok and RUclips, to show consistency throughout? Adds? Self promotion?
I have 255k followers on instagram but the all things you say is absolutely wrong because just instagram 30 seconds videos is not like RUclips to make so much edits to go viral !!
Hello great video!! I’ve had the same IG account for over 10 years and I’ve been stuck at 2k for a while so I think I’ve been shadow banned. Do you think I should start a new account? If so how can I keep them from linking to my old account?? Should I change the email or phone number? I do want to grow my profile and make it a business now. Thanks, Kassio
I would love to know how you organise your footage. Obviously if you were shooting for a particular thing that gets stored together but what about B I that could be used in the future
Hey man, this was really helpful. I'm a personal trainer looking to launch an instagram in the coming weeks. Any recommendations on starter cameras to use particularly for filming? Looking at the Canon m50 just now as I've read that its a solid starter camera. Any advice appreciated.
Both of those are solid cameras. I would recommend you spend more on a great quality lens. The lens is what will determine the quality and crispness of your content. I’d recommend getting a prime lens over a zoom lens as you’re tight for space in the gym and it’ll be easier to keep focus with other people around too. Consider a 50mm f.1.8 or even an 85mm f.1.8 lens! Good luck!
I have a Sony 85 mm f1.8 and absolutely love it, but I’d say it would be a bit limiting as a first lens.. I recommend a 28-75 f2.8 (or 24-70) to start with! And focus on audio quality 🤝
Don't get the M50, Canon discontinued that line of cameras. Plus the EFm mount is very limiting in terms of lens selection, you will feel stuck fast. Yes, you can probably get one for cheap but imo you are better off filming with an iphone around the same price. If you are willing to spend more, the A7iii albeit an older camera is a good option. Also saw the Sony ZE-10 for decent price, which is more beginner friendly. Good luck!
Appreciate this advice bro. Do you offer 1-on-1 session? Been looking for mentor, but I found many scammers out there. Just need someone who is genuinely trying to help other creators.
