I want to know that by using ads, the ads comes up as sponsored content which can be a turn off for people who don’t want to see ads, is there a way that one can promote their channel in a more natural way rather than being sponsored as an ad? This will be helpful to understand, thank you
This is a really great question and I understand the want to not come across as “overly promotional”. When it comes to paid promotion you can’t avoid the sponsored label, so what’s more important is making sure the content you share fits right into someone’s feed, and that it’s tailored for your audience. In the end we’re all used to ads now so we’ll just swipe by if it’s not for us. Prioritize great content for the ad and it won’t be as interruptive as you think! - T
Great question and great answer! My concern about ads is that once you stop paying, will that same post continue to perform organically as Meta knows that you have stopped paying? My limited experience is that the post would die once the $ stops and would lose the organic traffic it enjoyed before becoming an “ad”. If this is correct then it might be better to just create a new ad that looks like a legitimate ad instead of a post with a weird “Sponsored “ tag!
You're so welcome and not at all! What you'll notice is that there will be a significant increase in overall profile visits / reach of your account, so if/when you do stop running ads you'll see a "dip" in contrast which is just because the additional paid reach is no longer there. But we've never encountered an account being negatively impacted from ads, if anything it's the opposite because we've converted more followers. Hope that's helpful! - T
I do exactly the same you did. And I get a ton of clicks and visits. But harldy followers. How long does it take until I get more followers? I also setup a retargeting for engagers which do not follow yet. What is the ratio engagers vs. followers I should aim for?
My business page is new and I’ve already gotten 200 followers from running an ad and I was cheap on the ad lol. If I up the budget I will get even more traction.
Thank you for this video❤ it came at the perfect time because I plan to start running ads for an account I opened earlier this month next month to increase my following
Thanks for the info. Does boosting a reel on Instagram via mobile or desktop (as opposed to doing it in meta ad manager) negatively impact organic reach/performance?
Thanks so much for this, just found your page and I'm really enjoying your videos, very helpful! Is there a way we can also run an ad to drive people to our Facebook page?
So welcome, thank you for the kind words! Yes, you can run ads to drive people to your Facebook Page via Engagement ads, Conversion Location = FB Page. Hope that helps! - C
Could you also share regarding how long an add should run? I am a starting business that is really starting from zero. I want to start using instagram adds, however I am unsure for how long I should run them to get the best results?
At minimum you should run your ads for 7 days so you give the algorithm time to get out of the learning phase and start understanding the audience and how they respond to the content. Depending on what result you’re focusing on (goals), if you see that you’re seeing good results (e.g low cost per click) then you would keep running it and can start adding more budget to it. Hope that’s helpful! - T
I love these videos! This channel is one of the best out there when it comes to social media marketing. One thing that nobody talks about is the timing. When should you start using ads to attract more followers/sales? I am started a business insta page with 0 followers. Should I wait for a few months or should I just start running ads to increase following?
Thank you so much! Really happy to hear :) For ads, it'd be best if you have at least 12 posts up on your account, and a few pinned posts that very directly explain how to work with you or buy from you, etc. All the information that a potential customer would want to see. Otherwise you'd be wasting money sending traffic to an account that isn't going to convert them. Hope that helps! - C
Thank you so much for this response. I have seen other pages that starteds using adds directly after setting up. However there was nothing that the follower could see on the page. I will definitely follow your advise
Hi! There's no specific technical prerequisites to run ads, but you'd be better off to have a full profile with posts and comments and engagement so that when you're bringing people to your page, they can see that you're active and legit - C
Hi! Thank you so much. We offer consulting services for smaller businesses, which has been a great way for us to work with with more folks who don't have the Done For You budgets yet. If that's of interest, you can reach out to the team here: highseasonco.com/contact - C
should my ads manager audience targeting be narrow or wide? Example i am selling apparel products, can i just target as apparel? Or should i include interest like Nike, adidas?
Hi, for the purposes of reaching a larger audience to convert more people, you should go a little bit broader in the interests, that's where we're finding the most success - C
Hi! We wouldn't recommend you run anything for your clients through your FB ads account. You want each ad account to be niche-specific so the algorithm knows what you're focusing on. You can gain access to your client's ad account and run it from there - C
Hi! I'm following step by step however I'm stuck at the Ad Set level, I'm not seeing the option to point traffic to my Instagram profile (the conversion). I see website, app (greyed out), Messaging Apps, Calls. Any clue of what might be preventing the IG option to be offered? Thank you.
Hey Isabella! There is a chance the feature hasn't landed in your ads manager yet, I held off for a while getting this video out because it seems like most accounts have it now, but things do roll out in phases so perhaps check in again in a couple weeks to see if your account has been updated. 🤞 Hopefully won't be too long! - T
Hey there, I am literally trying to set up this conversion location, but Instagram profile does not show up! Any ideas of what could be going on? Appreciate the help
Hi, I see a lot of Ads with the "shop now" button in the instagram story font but when I try to do it with your way, it shows me the button with another font, like the one you have on your video (for the story), the button is cut and the font is so huge and different from the normal basic button from instagram, how can I change that? I tried so many ways I don't understand. Maybe is it just the preview that shows that?
Hi Myah! We typically don't talk much about TikTok on the channel, but my understanding would be that it'd work similarly to Instagram. We did this video on how to do it for IG, you can try those tips and see if it works, and then evaluate if you'd prefer to start fresh: ruclips.net/video/3i6U5agFyFw/видео.html - C
Hi, it's supposed to tell you what the error is. Usually they email you about it, and when you edit the ad (at the ad level), you'll see error messages there, normally on the top right of the page - C
Hey both! Yes it was a traffic campaign to conversion location of “IG Profile Visits”, we’ve been told by some people they don’t have it available yet so there is a chance you may not, but double check there if you haven’t! - T
Hey High Season Co, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
I followed your video, but I keep getting this message: At this time, video ads for this placement will only appear in Instagram search results feed. I'm wondering if Instagram has restricted these types of ads for now?
@@Highseasonco I'm referring to the option of choosing specifically "get more views to instagram profile" inside of traffic campaign. Only has to website.
Tips with no case study proof that the strategy worked. In the beginning of the video she stated she tested. Where are the results? A screenshot showing followers? Anybody can take a screenshot? Why not show “on this date we had this much, here is the reporting dashboard after we finished running the test campaigns, these are the final results on how many followers we grew with x amount of dollars spent”. But by making claims and showing how to, doesn’t necessarily prove it’s the best way to get followers. Love the channel but you need to provide more evidence before creating a claim.
Hey! Really appreciate that feedback, I focused more on delivering the training and didn’t consider providing more screenshots as evidence (we don’t do this often because we aren’t able to share client dashboards). Also because we’re truthful and transparent I never considered whether that’d in question - but this is the internet. When we do tests like this on our accounts I’ll keep that in mind for the next time to do a quick showcase of dashboard (in this case # of profile visits + increase in followers during the ad period). Hope you did get some value out of the video though and here for any questions! - T
Hey! Definitely don't need to spend that high - the more you spend, the more you'll see but $10 per day is a fair place to start. We've seen around 800-1000 reached per day with that daily spend.

@@Highseasonco okay. The plan is to be creating mainly carousel posts on Instagram about health tips. The carousels will be mainly of text and images. No video slides. I am choosing this approach because I believe I can have more control over the hook and visuals. Please what do you think?
@@richmond4416 Sounds like a great start! Give it a try for a month and then reevaluate. If you're happy with the performance then keep going, and if not then switch it up, try some Reels, add video. The only suggestion I'd made is Reels are important so at some point you'll want to include them. Good luck! - C
