The brief: Earlier this year, I spent $247 on a campaign with YouGrow Promo. Seven months later, here's what the results look like. Hopefully this is helpful as you think about your own long-term marketing strategies.

Short answer: Yes, they're definitely safe.
Longer answer: Tbh, there's always some risk when you promote music - not because of YouGrow, but because other companies (like wavr.ai, etc.) scan promo platforms and sometimes pick up tracks to add to their own botted lists.

Any experience with the you grow tik tok promo?

Yeah, I tried one campaign where they ran TikTok ads for us. It was fine.
The raw results were solid (lots of engagement and new followers), but it didn't seem to translate to much long-term growth - almost all the accounts that followed didn't seem to be highly relevant to the artist and didn't engage much after the campaign. Not bots, just not super helpful, either.
And tbh, I'm pretty sure we could've run it ourselves at a lower cost without much trouble.

Nah, not really. Playlists very rarely have an impact on that.
(Fwiw, ads are waaay more engaged.)
