Your perspective on social media is so refreshing, it seems modernity has caused most of us including myself to forgot the real purpose of social media: human connection! I've been doing this for 2 weeks now and have gone from 60 followers to 150 followers, all of them being in the exact same profession as myself from everywhere in the world! It has been so nice truly connecting with these people, what a simple but fantastic strategy, thank you so so much for reminding me of the beauty of social media. I wish you and everybody reading this happiness and success in all your ventures!
That' the thing, isn't it? Finding other humans who will actually like what we are creating. I really feel that there are other people out there who will love what I'm doing, but it's just finding and connecting with them - and it has to be done in an authentic way. Thanks for the tips!

I found that the majority of people who use hashtags and have open accounts are looking for just likes and followers as well, and have a tendency to unfollow or disappear within the next few days or weeks. I found that showing your real personality and especially struggles, and emotions, help to attract real people and connections. And it doesn't matter what niche you are in.

I am into the 1800s Victorian dresses and 1980s fashion, and I get a lot of people who are into vintage as well, who just like a few to all of my posts without following. Or I get people who follow me for a few months and then unfollow. 🤷♀️ The true ticket is how many views you get on reels and posts cause then that's when we can get paid.

Halfway through the video and I already agree with everything you said. At the end of the day you're just using a filter function or a magnifying glass to look into recent posts in your niche. That will better help you connecting with people that have an interest in discovering accounts similar to yours. Nothing wrong with that!

well said, it's nothing wrong, until you're genuinely following them and liking their posts, and commenting, the problem arises when you are doing all of that just to increase your number, rather than connecting with others

@@mmnworks the reels aren’t getting as many plays because so many are doing them. They’ll feature someone like this RUclips in the fyp for a week and he’ll get 10k but people like you and I have to get seen and Instagram doesn’t support us. I suggest we don’t follow people who don’t follow us. If we make them less famous we’ll be able to fit in. But following people who don’t follow us shows Instagram we are fans but we are not we are hidden competition. Just flood it bro. Post 2-3 times a day. Also DONT post on the algorithm times. If you notice everyone does at the same time at 10-1 or 3-5 or 7-10 before, in between and after Instagram is dead. You notice that?? Post on the times it’s not the algorithm like I have and I noticed my reach go up cuz no one post but me and a few numbers. Everyone waiting for a certain time. Smh 🤦🏽♂️ lol network bro. Comment share posts make friends!!

I get followers daily,quite a lot, I recently discovered that all my recent posts,the last 3months or so,are on the Explore page, so it must be that right? But I have a problem,with the plenty of followers I get daily,half of them are Forex/Bitcoin accounts,I’ve blocked so many every day,is there another way to deal with these traders from following me?
I was having a lot of issues with bitcoin comments and followers. So I just kept blocking them and enabling the “ prevent any future accounts this person makes from following you “ Now I the bitcoin spam accounts and comments is slowing down. So I think slowly with time it does make a difference.

They're bots lol, but there's no proven ways to get rid of them, so I'd suggest you do focus on growing your Instagram and growing your business if you've one. What you focus on grows. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help & serve you.
This is actually really great advice, in theory, but it looks like it is no longer possible. Instagram has now removed the "recent" tab for hashtags. You can only see "Top Posts" and "Recent Top Posts" now. (aka its impossible to see the less popular posts with out scrolling a billion miles down a hashtag) Side note: Does this effectively make hashtags irrelevant for growing your audience now because hashtags only will show posts which already have a ton of traction?
