This is a low budget 1.8T Caddy Mk2 build, the goal is to do this as cheap as possible and end up with a road legal, and cool looking car. I allready have some cool parts and plans for it.
I really enjoy making these videos and showing the work put into building a car like this. I am really thankfull for the time you have put in watching my video(s). Time is the most valuable you have other than family♥️.

Hey kerel ik kwam je laatst tegen bij de sloop toen je spullen voor de caddy ( met de witte golf mk 2) maar het ziet er goed uit kerel het begint wat te worden 👌👌👌👌 gr mike

Hee,
Je hebt volgens mij 3 opties.
*1. Je swapt alleen de motor en de motor kabelboom erin. Als je op 7:56 kijkt dan ze je misschien net dat ik alleen de motor kabelboom erin heb geklikt. Als je dit zo doet dan moet je je wegrijblokering uit je 1.8T ECU laten weg halen. Anders start je auto wel maar loopt ie nooit meer dan 5 sec. Ook is er kans dat er connecties ontbreken in de orginele 1.6 kabelboom.
*2. Je swapt alle electra dus zoiezo: tellerunit, sleutels, regelapparaat afstandbediening etc. Zoveel als je kunt. Dan hoef je niet de wegrijblokkering uit te schakelen. Vergeet ook niet je deursloten en achterklepslot. Dit zou misschien kunnen met je orginele 1.6 binnen kabelboom.
*3. Alles overzetten van een complete donor. Echt alles. Ook je brandstof pomp. Dan weet je zeker dat alles matched. Dit ben ik aan het doen. Maar als je technisch kundig bent kan je het makkelijkste voor optie 1 gaan maar kost extra geld omdat je naar een specialist moet die de ECU kan aanpassen.
De RDW will zeker zien dat de remmen etc ook zijn aangepast.
In mijn komende video laat ik een paar goeie websites zien die je bij een swap zoals deze kunnen helpen. Zijn lastig via text uit te leggen.
Laat je niet onmoedigen maar ik zou zeker tijd nemen voor een goeie swap..

why 10W40 ?
Its an older engine, to ensure a bit more oil pressure and I will keep shorter intervals between oil changes. The long life stuff is so thin I only trust it in newer engines. But maybe im totally wrong🤣👍🏻
