Hi, I bought a 1980 rabbit pickup and I was doing some wiring work under the dash and now I don’t have any spark. I can’t figure out why, my plugs and coil are good so the problem probably is I messed up something under the dash or with the starter while putting it back together. I don’t really know what I’m doing so wondering if you could help.
I would bet that rust below your rear window is also from mice. I’m fixing rust back there and had the exact same rust look you do. Those little things get everywhere.
Great video as always, I have an 83 4 door that is my daily now. Just curious where you got the new carpets from? I have seen "stockinteriors" but havent heard if they are any good. Thanks for the great content!

I'd love to know. I've got a 1.6NA caddy and know where a couple BEW Jettas are sitting in a field with ate up cams. I've been thinking about swapping my caddy with a "force upgraded" BEW when the 1.6 melts down. Or do I keep an eye out for a cheap ALH, if there is such a thing.

Oh yeah, you’re exactly right. It was absolutely jam-packed with mouse nest! Combine that with (another) leaky window seal… it’s definitely a bummer.
