Joo, ik heb alles van een cordoba cupra overgezet. Alles past van direct op de caddy. Je moet het schakelmechanisme gebruiken die bij de bak hoort.. soms moet je dan de koets van de auto aanpassen

@@BeardedBuilds de motor en versnellingsbak die ik heb komen uit een Seat Leon 1m1 ben nog aan twijfelen om of om te bouwen naar schakelkabels of zoeken naar ander versnellingsbak en hefbomen voor de schakelstang

Aah ok, ja ik zou het bijpassend schakelmechaniek die bij de bak hoort gebruiken, anders word het lang puzzelen voor de juiste combi. Heb je de motor er al in hangen? Hoe heb je het gedaan met je motorsteunen? Ik dacht dat je met een leon/ golf 1.8T/v-bak een bredere combi had die moeilijk past in een caddy/polo

Its really easy to do if you are able to weld metal my friend. If you watch the whole series you will know how I did it and wich parts I used! The rear brakes are finnished, and working! Let me know if you want to know some more after watching! B

I used the 2002 Seat Cordoba Cupra rear brakes, I believe they are the same as a mk4. I used passat rear brake hose to adapt them. Its been a long time im not sure. In my last episode of the caddy I did the handbrakes, now everything works but I did need to weld, drill, and tap to build this but If you can do that its pretty easy👍🏻

Yeah you found out huh.. its really an Seat Inca, but not many people know about them so I call it a Caddy😈 I'm also building a VW T3 with a PD130 with flipped 6 speed so Im going to keep the Inca a nice "work van". Im going to make the interiour very nice with some cool speakers and woofers and some fake purple snake leather hahah.. going to be sweet! But first still more rust and body work! B

Yes only 2 cuts, the rest is plug and play👍🏻 if you follow the build Im trying to show every step I did to fit all of the Cupra on the Caddy😎 but I dont know about the headlight connectors. I used the whole wireloom from the Cupra. Thanks for watching!

No, the doors line up with the fenders, on mine everything still white is Caddy and blue is Ibiza 6k2👍🏻

Motorcode is AQX, its a original Cupra engine.

Yeah pretty cool, especially since its 1 owner and really nice for how much its been used! He even uses a big trailer behind it multiple time a week.

Thanks!! I didnt show I wipes it of after some time to react and disolve the surface rust! Then a light sand and then I used Copper Weld Thru primer, and this you can leave when welding to give extra protection. I also sprayed the inside of the rockerpanel after welding. I only had 3 short days to do this repair and I could not show every detail! Thanks for watching!! B

Thanks! Yeah my neighbour is pretty proud of this Caddy, he did really keep up with it. The vid is to short to really go in dept. But some body work here and there and a lot of oil changes haha. But for 900000km the major mechanics is really not bad! Where I live people think 200000km is too much lol. Thanks for watching! B
