      Thanks! Yeah my neighbour is pretty proud of this Caddy, he did really keep up with it. The vid is to short to really go in dept. But some body work here and there and a lot of oil changes haha. But for 900000km the major mechanics is really not bad! Where I live people think 200000km is too much lol.
      Thanks for watching!

      Thanks for the comments. Maybe do an update video sometime. in the uk most people think that if a vehicle has done 100,000 miles then its worth little.

      Yeah! Im going to try to get the million Km's on video! But most likely its going to be a year or more before that happens, my neighbour did say he plans to make it that far! And maybe I fix some other stuff for him so and make a new video on it.

    Great to watch, nice job!
    Do you think there is merit in making drain holes in the rocker panels?

      @BeardedBuilds  3 месяца назад +1

      Hmmm good question.. I think if you can keep em clean and especially dry it could work but that is the same for the original with no holes. The problem mostly lies with the inner fenders collecting dirt and staying wet. Also every chip rusts one day. This sill is even painted(by a professional) again since I dit this rattlecan paint match. All cars will end in rust If you dont keep up with it.
      This caddy is allready past 950000km now😎
      Thanks for the comment!

    Great and honest plumbing work. At 3:29 min. you use an iron product. Doesn't the Ranex liquid burn when welding sheet metal??

      Thanks!!
      I didnt show I wipes it of after some time to react and disolve the surface rust! Then a light sand and then I used Copper Weld Thru primer, and this you can leave when welding to give extra protection. I also sprayed the inside of the rockerpanel after welding. I only had 3 short days to do this repair and I could not show every detail!
