You could eat your dinner off that rear beam it was that clean!
How much would a build like this cost ?
And how reliable would it be as a daily commuter ?
Drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelpments.co.uk with reg/vin for costs! Should be reliable as a daily yeah, we tune most road cars so that they are safe and reliable depending on what the customer is using it for. As long as it's maintained well it should be solid
Differential upgrade is for the gear-ratio or strength? You're almost doing 60 in the first gear, or was that the second gear at the starting of the video?
Was second gear on that pull
I think that engine and box would fit straight into my A2 ... In the famous words of Arnold ----> Giaaa mee Addraeesss! .. Good job goys :)
my polo is cleaner, only problem is it's an 1.9 sdi and picks up speed slower than modern tractor, when it's moving it's ok but could do with a turbo on it so i can overtake tractors and trucks, at the moment i have to wait until i'm going down hill , doubt its possible without changing the engine which i'm not going to do as it's only my daily hack and only done 61k so barely ran in, it might get faster when it loosens up a bit at 100k or so
You could bolt up an old AGR turbo and slap in some nozzles
@@DarksideDevelopments thanks, that's good info to know if it becomes unbearable
If it feels properly slow, check the timing, they love to stretch a cam belt.

Could you get away with an OEM ported head and PD150 manifold to get to this power level? Or is the factory head on 1.9's too restrictive?
Might be able to get something similar
@@DarksideDevelopments i appreciate the response!
That’s a 300+bhp setup easily, why’s it make such low power?
Probably tuned for reliability
lack of rolling coal......my guess
I thought that too, my old one made similar figures on a 1856 and stock injectors and cam etc
1856, not on our dyno!
He needs to remove all the badges and put a 1.2 badge on.
I'd be happy to donate my Polos 1.2 badges for this purchase 😂😂
Too bad you guys don't work with Opel engines, I wouldn't mind a few more horses on my Astra 2.0 DTI. The 101 stock horses are waaay too conservative for the potencial the engine has.
