Thank you so much for such a great service and work guys! I cannot wait to get the car over to you for the installation! And of course for the many laps to come😈😈😈
Recently bought a car with a 1.9 TDI (BXE), and been trying to find videos that basically show the anatomy of it, so this was really helpful... never going to have the skills to do anything in depth but being able to visualise where everything is behind the main block is cool
I had a 1.9 P.D in a bora , this build was therapeutic I have a 1.8T 20v now I want my PD bk again such a simple solid construction what a wicked set of bolt ons 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Gotta say I was deeply shocked to see someone **start** by inserting the wrist pins: I’ve been watching Andi at Subi-Performance build Subi boxers for so long I’m used to seeing the wrist pins put in through the access plugs **last**.
I miss my mapped cupra 1.9tdi 8v. Remapped to around 190bhp with a cg motorsport kevlar clutch that took ages to bed in but when it was in god its moved from 40-100.
Really nice build. Having done over 181k miles, I'm tempted to rebuild my 2.0tdi BPW B7 with an added intercooler and a compound turbo set-up (just because...as long as it fits in the bay). Is this something you'd be interested in working on?
Love to know how much it cost. I've just got my 1st ever vw and its a 2009 1.9tdi jetta. And its the 1st car I can actually do some good tuning and styling on looking forward to start the upgrades. And its my first ever auto funny as I've always said I would never own 1 only ever driven an auto once before and stalled it about 70 yards after leaving house lol
Taking notes for my 1.9 TDI 8V VE engine rebuild. And definitely just subscribed to this channel. Why has it taken the RUclips AI so long to suggest you guys to me 😅😂🤣 (I bet it only did it because I was looking at H-beam rods on your website yesterday night 😅)
Aircon sounds reasonable for a "track day" car instead of "race car", as the actual total weight (which can be less than some cooling vest systems) and extra power needed to drive accessory belt (a couple of horsepower) isn't going to back a big difference compared to a hot/tired driver, and its not like this motor is going to turn at speeds a stock petrol wouldn't as to worry the pump. But I do suspect you'll end wanting to swap the factory condenser for something outside the engine bay and insulate the remaining lines so that it both actually works when the under-bonnet regions an oven and doesn't interfere with the space/airflow for radiator/inter-coolers that could be fitted... we do this for many 4x4's here down-under because the hot climate, low speeds working hard offroad and demand to fit bullbars/winches/intercoolers at the front cause simlar problems. I've even seen several older US cars with the complete setup hidden away somewhere like the old spare tyre well, running an electric compressor to keep the engine bay clean/unmolested but still having it enjoyable to cruise on a hot day.... but I suspect a golf might not have that degree of unused space outside passenger cabin, and it would be heavier than just moving the condenser.
Holy cow! loving the subwoofer tune! Cant wait to get back into the asz build theyre still the best engines around, would love to see that rip. cant wait to buy more bits like H beam rods and apr bolts etc. ye could sell a few complete engines like a plug and play 350hp 1.9tdi with options to fit a bls/bxe engined vehicles.
