The 2023 Hyundai Elantra N feels like it came completely out of nowhere. With it's loud N exhaust mode, crackles and pops, and turbocharged engine - it seems to check a lot of boxes for a car enthusiast. It has radical styling, a VERY nice interior, and fantastic handling. With a 10 year warranty and a ton of performance - this car doesn't seem to match up with it's value per dollar. I was so impressed with this car that I might have to say it's better than the new 2023 Acura Integra - something I wouldn't have guessed a few years ago. So what makes the Elantra N great? Let's talk about it.
BONUS: Side note I feel terrible for the guy in California who got pulled over in this car for "modified exhaust" in a stock Hyundai Elantra N.

My only fear with this car is the dealerships don't know N from N-Line, and many will tell you they don't even know what oil goes in this car. I love it, but they are screwing with warranties with their own errors, and coming up with BS to not service them under warranty. It's a great car but the corporate team needs to get the dealerships in the US up to speed for me to trust the process and ownership of one.

I finally had to decline their "free maintenance" and began to do my own oil changes (6,000 miles between changes? ). They couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me what brand and weight of oil they used. Then the parts guys couldn't agree on which oil filter to give me. Hyundai is dropping the ball on a really great car.
