Been waiting for this video ever since I saw your post on IG. I have a 2024 EN in this exact spec and I’ve never had so much fun driving a car. Totally in love with it
same here! got mine in Black W/DCT! Awesome car especially for the money!
There's only 1 spec... and even if it were a manual you can just say manual lol
@@eduj8086 always someone like you that has an issue with everything everyone has to say
I’m torn between this and a VW GTI. Test drive both and they have their pros and cons. So hard to choose
@@kwillee93the N offers a lot and sounds so good 🤷🏼♂️
I’ve been using my 2022 Elantra N as a family car for over 2 years now. I personally don’t find the cabin that noisy at all. I’m in Tennessee, so it gets super hot in the summer, and neither of my kids have ever complained about it being too hot in the back. There are no center vents, but there are vents under the front seats, so cold air does get back there. Mine came with a cargo net in the trunk that works perfect for groceries. It’s a great family car that can transform into an entertaining track car at the push of a button. I love mine!
It’s all about perspective to me, if you come from a truck/suv or an older car the N will sound quiet, but comparing it to a Lexus, bmw etc the road noise is a bit much
Good notes as an owner. There are almost always workarounds. My point about the vents was more like "if they're ducting the air to the underseat vents, how much more could development cost to run it to vents in the console?" Road noise just stood out to me since I was in a Camry (similar budget/size) and Accord not long ago, and both were noticeably quieter.
@@forceuser609 Really more about relevance. If compared to the cars it actually competes with like the Civic Type-R, WRX, or GR Corolla, it's probably a very similar level of noise.
I have a 24 DCT Elantra N in Australia (just called i30 Sedan N down here). I don't get why they didn't put the rear air vents in, in North America. (Seems that Canada don't get them either.) We get them in our cars (and in Korea. And probably in other places). Not like they have to do any extra development/engineering work. I guess they saved $50 not putting them in. Dumb choice in a daily family car.
@@forceuser609 I 100% agree with your assessment. It does depend on what you’re comparing it to. I previously had a Dodge Charger R/T and an Accord Sport 2.0T, so I was expecting an Elantra to be extremely noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was comparable to both of my previous cars. In fact, my Accord had a very annoying wind noise whistle at certain speeds, but nothing odd like that with my Elantra. If I came from anything on the luxury end, of course it would seem loud, which is exactly what you’re saying. 👍🏻
Almost 300 HP is insane.
Makes over 300 crank hp when octane learned
I feel like this is one of the best enthusiast cars if you have a family. Fits everybody, sounds incredible, and while it might not be the fastest, that's not the N division's purpose. They make fun cars. Also, it's a lot cheaper than any R on the market.
Own a 23 Kona N. Absolutely love it. Such a fun vehicle. I drive in N mode 24/7 and can still average around 23 mph. Highesy roasted put it in ECO or normal and still average 30 mpg at 85+mph
I traded in my 2022 Type R for one! so far I love it, still new with only 5000 miles.
I’m working my two jobs like crazy to buy this car this year!!! 🔥🔥
Highly advise against that. If you’re saving close to 40 thousand just go for a used m340. Crazy quick and reliable and way more tunable. Will definitely hold up its value a lot better too
@@hamzakdesh400they are 2 totally different cars. The Elantra N handles, steers, and feels WAY better. It's also a much larger car in terms of interior room and comes with a 10 year 100K warranty. M340i is a good premium car but it's only good in a straight line. It's steering is super vague and offers zero communication. It also weighs 500lbs more and doesn't handle as well. Sure it's fast in a straight line but if that's all I wanted I could just buy a used Model 3 Performance for 35K and run mid 11s in the 1/4 mile.
@@ayushmalpeddi2793you’re totally wrong with steering of the m340. You can’t even compare these cars. Maybe the 330i but not m340 bro
@@Malhisaabdhanda steering on the M340i and even the M3 cars sucks. It's sterile and devoid of feel. Very little communication through the front tires. Elantra N offers A TON of feel back with the steering
@@hamzakdesh400 why would anybody recommend a used bmw? that's not a good advise for a young dude.
Love these kids keep up the work!!!!!
Just discovered your channel and liked the way you involves your family within the review. New subscriber here, good job 🎉
Thank you for the sub and encouragement! Glad you like the content
love it keep up the good work!
elantra bose sound system is actually great. you need to change some settings that is. i set mine to tremble +3 middle option +2 and base +10. i also set the center point of the speaker 3 back. and it gives u a pretty good surround sound
We don't get the Elantra over in the UK but I do have a brand new i20N and I love it. Such a fun car to drive, sticks to the road like it's glued on and does what you tell it to.
Wow love this review. So well done.
Just got the same car in Black! Love it! like that color but these are so hard to find right now and i got lucky and found one not too far and for MSRP! The DCT is awesome plus didnt want another manual and the extra 10hp doesnt hurt! Ive had a lot of much faster cars but for now its such a fun car! Planning to do some performance mods and aesthetic add ons very soon!
Enjoy it!
Waiting for this❤
Love these videos!
Thank you for the encouragement! Glad you like them
I'm picking up my 2024 Auto Grey Elantra N tonight! Can't wait! Triple
Hehe nice transition to scooting around town and eating lunch in the back seat
I had a 2021 nline in Cyber Grey. Such a beautiful colour.
love the video, awesome 🔥🔥..but i think you forgot to hide the speed on the infotainment system 12:22 😂
I came here to say this. Haha.
Informative, Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
funny how you have the sticker covering the MPH on the center gauges, but your infotainment screen is ratting you out lol
That's so cute you and your wife both do car reviews, I watch her reviews so the time and never knew. I can only dream of having a significant other that loves cars just as much as me. Great review and both you guys keep it up! Definitely could be giving BrosFourrSpeed & Car Confections some competition in the niche "Tag-Team Review" segment.
I LOVE these sporty sedans, I was loyal to VW and had a few Jetta GLIs but they are so far behind in power, technology and interior that I am no longer loyal to the GLI. I never thought of buying a Hyunday but this Elantra N checks all the boxes for the perfect blend of fun and daily, it just cannot be beat. The GLI is $34-$35k and I would rather have this for the same price over the VW, any day of the week. A used 2022 GLI is in the high 20s, a used 2022 Elantra N is holding 30s. And then there is that longer warranty, the end. :)
Wait, I didn't think they come with a sunroof! :D
i’ve been waiting for you to review the 24 🙏🙏 ive been wanting one and i trust ur thoughts on it
I'm glad to be able to bring this video to you then!
Love the car, and own a 22 DCT. Also love covering the speed on the left side but the right side in N mode is showing me everything I need to know :)
Elantra N is a great car!
I own a Elantra N in Black, I love it so much. The DCT shifts so smooth and I get like 19 MPG in the city and 21 on the Highway. Im currently getting a N Division cat back exhaust on it and I might trade mine in for a Veloster N!
Why trade for the VN? Imo it does look a lil more better but definitely not the stronger engine tho but probably the better drivers “feeling car” im curious cuz id get q VN tbh also if I trade in my 20’ si only for the dct
I have a Kona N and in normal mode it’ll hit 33 MPG on the highway. Is your 21 MPG in N mode?
@@CapELarry yes sir it is. in comfort I get 30 MPG in City and I average abt 27-29 on highway
@@tjhomie728on the Elantra n you get this?

Nice Review
Miles: today I’m driving the Escalade V, and I want to get a big American meal with it (gets a salad)
Miles: today I’m driving the Elantra N (gets in and out) 😅
😆 guilty!!
After watching this I believe I am sold, going to the dealership next week
You might want to change the display next time great review
hoping i can get my hands on a used one as my next one. love this car
Ordering this exact one but 2025 model partially because of this video !!
I have a 2024 hyundai I30N Sedan Premium in Performance Blue and got lots of attention from the colour and looks of it, I love it another. 😎
Nice review Miles!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brave man driving around NPB in nice cars these days. Stay safe out there.
Super nice car ❤
"Christinnaaa goo with meee" 😂😂
omg ive delivered an amazon package at your very house😂 thats so freaking awesome lol
I'm glad you talked about road noise. As the tires wear more, the noise gets worse. You can easily hear passing cars outside and there alot of tire noise from the trunk. Probably the worst part of the car, that and the fuel economy.
N owner here to launch the car you have to tap the gas twice in fast succession but hold it down the second tap to use launch control itll bounce off whatever limit you set
EN is a great value, I would choose the manual version every time personally.
I like the Elantra N, but I don’t think you get enough value especially on the interior. I’ll still watch the video because I love these day in the life’s!
Could you do a Acura integra a spec tech. Been wanting one but haven’t found a reviewer as in depth as yours miles! Love your work keep it up!
I drove one recently. Has a really nice interior and it's a confortable ride for a sport compact with the best manual that I have driven. The only issue is that is very slow. Has no torque.
@@jpizel1070 figured as much. It’s basically a Honda civic but I’m interested in the ride quality and more features it brings like the tech and overall feel of the interior. Appreciate the input!
I covered the Integra A-Spec about a year ago (just a Drive Review, not a Day in the Life). Unfortunately, it didn't seem to interest many people, so I'm hesitant to jump back into one, but I'll consider it!
I currently have a '16 Veloster N and I was greatly contemplating to purchase the Elantra N...however, that Mk 8.5 R, stole my heart. Waiting for either a '25 or '26.
FINALLY MILESPERHR MADE A VIDEO ABOUT A HYUNDAI YIPPIEEE
Another one is coming soon! Sonata N Line
Please do the Sonata N Line!!! I plan on buying a 2024 Hyundai Sonata N Line in a few months and I'm really curious what you think about it, I personally am very excited and love it from the few test drives I've done, but I want to know what you think! 🙏
Question Apple,CarPlay needs To be plugged in
i’ve been thinking about buying a ExL HR-V if you can get your hands on one.
I wanted this car so bad but they didn’t have them in my area, ended up getting the 40th anniversary GLI no regrets but still would’ve liked test driving this one 🤩
Shoulda traveled for it bro but congrats on gli
Should try the Hyundai i30 nline performance, really fast and speedy car, would recommend to your channel
How long did you have to wait for your Cyber Grey?? Been waiting 8 weeks as of now...
I love video❤
I’ve owned 2 civic type Rs and now a 24 EN manual and it’s an amazing car. Love driving it. Barely less of a car than the R and waaaay cheaper. Oh and I’m mid 30s and only drive in N mode. It’s way more fun than comfort mode. It’s not that bad. If you want to drive in comfort mode go get a base model Elantra
Agreed or get the Elantra Nline. 1.6T with ~200hp/torque with a sportier suspension and pretty quick with the DCT
What canyon road did you drive through? It looked fun and i live in the area
never had in n out before but 9.70 for a good burger and fries doesnt sound like too bad a deal these days...
I want to see what a video with the meta raybans would look like lol
Testing the audio you can adjust the bass, treble, etc. not the best bose system but its customizable
This Elantra N sounds angrier than an American who's just been told tea is superior to coffee. Well done, Hyundai, you've created a proper hooligan!
If you liked this you need to review the Sonata N line, it's my daily driver and between this and that the Sonata is a better family car while still having the performance of the N. From my testing even faster than the N, and it still handles surprisingly good. I have a catback, custom wheels, and a intake on mine, and it is such a fun daily driver. They both cost about the same as well, the 2024 Sonata N line is probably the most underrated car of the year so far.
Agreed, I own a Sonata N Line aswell, it is such a beast of a car, insanely quick, not many people know the punch it packs under the bonnet, I’ve had many hot hatches line me up and I’ve completely gapped them, the car is a FWD tyre shredding machine.
I would love to see how it compares to the Elantra N in a performance test.
@@russell3436woww really its that much of a sleeper !?
how come your car doesn't have the turn signal blindspot view camera screen?
I actually like that color. I don't like that light blue everyone has. Definitely want a manual though
Man I wish this came out in Europe
car’s the same color as the weather
10:25 we gonna act like the motorcycle just ain’t lane split😂😂
It's legal here in CA
Hope you get to redo the 0-60 tests when you're octane learned. During your pulls your torque peaked at 250lbs. When you're octane learned you should go over 280.
And launch control. 50% brake press or more and slap the throttle quick. In my experience with NGS on LC if yiu turn it on once tires hook up you can reduce the 0-60 a couple milliseconds
I think you should test cars on streets and roads in bad conditions, because that's how you know how the car reacts in severe conditions and not on perfect, flat roads like you see in the videos.
Alas, in SoCal, we have mild weather, so our roads are in pretty good condition. I try to find some chewed up roads, but it's not easy
Pls do a new toureg r line
They are dual tone horns and the low end one is known to short. That one is shorted out
I have the Veloster N, not sure if the sequence is the same for the EN but you need to be in one of the N modes, TC + SC off (push then push and hold the TC button), foot all the way on the brake, and then you can give it gas and it will launch correctly.
I followed all those steps, and unfortunately, it wouldn't work
I test drove all the cars in this competitive group. This, the Civic, the GLI, the GTI, the Kia versions and the corolla.
I went with the VW GLI. One, due to my age the civic seemed too kiddy, same with Kia and Hyundai. I just felt as a middle aged guy that this is too flashy and meant for the younger crowd, along with its really throaty and loud exhaust. It is why I didn't go with the GTI has hot hatches again really aren't for middle aged dudes.
The GLI was just the right mix of being sporty and fun enough, fast enough and didn't totally look like a teenagers car.
My friend had the same problem. Have you tried activating launch control in park then go to drive and try it
I'm pretty sure I did try that. Spent WAY too long attempting to make it work
I was gonna get this car but knowing me Id prob get pulled over cause Id have too much fun driving it. So I went with the Tucson N line instead. Now question, I got myself one of those Wendys Frosties cause it was 99C and I forgot to eat it quick, and some liquid may have gotten inside the piano black plastic, can I pop the material out to clean it? Its not the 25 model but the 24 model with the shift by wire.
Honestly, not sure. Piano black is always tricky because it marks so easily, but I imagine with a padded tool, you can remove the panel to inspect. Don't quote me on that, though
what camrea does he use?
Why the key fob look like a almond joy 😂😂😂
Hi Miles 👋👋👋🙂
Nice video. A little disappointing in the power department. Maybe this one will loosen up a bit with time.
It's alot quicker than the Civic Si which is what this competes in the price department.
GJ
I just think the interior needs contrasting colors, all black screams 05 base model civic
To help with the rear air vent issue I’ll say just tint the back with ceramic tints if you don’t want to tint the whole car
Tint would help, but the lack of airflow is tough
FYI both of the launches didn't activate launch control at all. Stock you can expect 5 seconds flat or even less. Not sure why yours didn't activate, perhaps you didn't activate it in the settings each time, maybe the ESC wasn't in sport mode? i don't know.
Try putting your car on N mode and turning off the traction control to use the Launch Control.. I notice you were driving more on normal mode and not N mode.
Why do N owners emphasize dct when other Hyundais have them and so do a lot of other cars but yet when you say it’s just a dual clutch trans, or when you say this other car has a dct they always argue it’s not the same
I put the gearbox when I stop if there is a start stop I am not
Using NGS in normal mode is a violation 😭
👇 Good daily button
Not gonna lie I mainly clicked because of the burger in the thumbnail
11:38 I think this is not lunch control
Hmm you didnt do the octane learning. Its basically a secret in built tune Hyundai offers. You gotta hit a bunch of requirements and then the car offers an extra 5lbs of boost. Thats how some peiple are able to trap 107mph+ stock.
hyundai is very nice
Really stuck between this and the 2024 mustang ecoboost premium, any input would be appreciated, i love me my creature comforts and mustang has ventilated seats and more power..
Mustang is definitely gonna be a softer ride and has more amenities, as you said. But it's definitely not as fun to drive, and the convenience of 4 doors shouldn't be overlooked
@@MilesPerHr good point thank you
This is smokes the ecoboost. I whooped a 22 model on the highway yesterday. The N is a way better drivers car all around.
The Elantra N is a lot faster. Especially at higher speeds. Check caranddrivers tests. Elantra N traps 106mph in the 1/4 mile while the Ecoboost does 103mph. It's quicker to 130mph by 2 seconds. But in terms of low speed acceleration the mustang is better because of its extra torque and being rwd for better traction. Unless you get the performance pack on the Ecoboost, the Elantra N is a LOT faster around corners. Also the N weighs 500lbs less. On the other hand the Mustang will be better to cruise and might get slightly better mpg too. Also it's interior may not be as functional but it's much nicer
@@ayushmalpeddi2793 you mean the elenatra is nicer interior? Just wanted to clarify and ty for the detailed explanation, things i wouldn’t expect are true it seems
N mode is not allowed in California and the police will give you a noise ticket。🤣🤣🤣
Why would you do the 0-60 test on a part of the road is clearly up hill...
That's not really accurate. Perhaps just the wide angle lens making it look that way. It was pretty flat. If anything, small convex (curved up at the start, but curved downward well before 60).
That is a sick car
you should do a porsche taycan turbo s cross turismo
I did a Taycan GTS Sport Turismo not long ago. Waiting for the refresh to revisit the Taycan
I live in Turkiye. I want the manual version of Golf R or GTI to come to Turkiye. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do?
Turkey?
@neznamtija8081Yes, but Turkiye is now their official name again. They've officially changed their name back to that (Turkiye)
@@tillwhompson how very strange...
@@neznamtija8081 It's the Turkish 'version' of the country's name. The UN ratified it in 2022. If you Google it you'll see it's part of Türkiye's rebranding

Not really sure why you would do the 0-60 test uphill....
