After watching several RUclips tutorial videos about trading I was still making losses until Mr Jay started managing my investment now I make $10,567 weekly.
I been playing Mizuno MP-H4's for a couple of years. Older set but they go miles, I can shape them, and nothing beats the Mizuno feel when struck in the middle.
Quick edit: P7MCs have micro grooves milled into the face. It helps, a lot. The P7s are also weaker lofted than Pings. The PW is 47 in TM, while 46 on Ping. I got P7MCs this summer. I still think they look better than these but these would have been in my top 3 for looks. But even as someone who's single digit handicap, I gave up the 3ir for a hybrid. I couldn't justify carrying it and then having a huge gap from 3ir to 3wd since I'd rather carry 4 wedges. I probably hit it a bit further than you which is why I need the 4 wedges. These things do look great though. Another option in that "I don't want blades but I don't want cavity backs" area.
Here's the deal folks. I work in a retail pro-shop fit center. Ping's major supplier permanently shut down. We just got the demo/fit heads a couple weeks ago and when people want them we simply tell them good luck, we can't even order them and when we do our lead time on the portal just says N/A. Hate to be a downer on Rick's channel. They are amazing club heads though. Great content as always Rick!
I know the Titleist T 300 irons is not your style of clubs being a little more on the chunky side but I think you should test them in the future video . I have heard a lot scratch golfers say that they would play them or even a mix set with the T 200 irons because of the forgiveness and consistency of them . And mixed or blended sets seem to be the thing over the last few years . I’m in my 50’s and have really enjoyed playing with my first generation T300’s irons keeping my rounds in the 70’s 👍🏌🏻♂️⛳️ sometimes we have to have an open mind and swallow our pride and stop trying to hit clubs that might not be very consistent or forgiving and put clubs in the bag that will make golf more enjoyable and consistent 😉 you may be pleasantly surprised on the consistency of distance and mid to hi ball flight and dissent angle of the T300 irons . Best game improvement Irons I have tried in the last 10 years.

Rick how about a feature on the supply issues within the golf club industry?
Rick, you need to get your irons custom fitted ie loft angle adjusted and (as importantly) the right shaft to suit your swing! You should then do a test with standard off the shelf irons v the same irons custom fitted to your swing. Performance will only really come with custom fitted irons. Love your vids!

I hear what your saying on the Taylormades Rick I’m a 12 handicap and not a great iron player and I recently hit those really well and I play Wilson D9 now
I hit these and the 7mc today and I personally feel like the i59 was much more forgiving. I had a few fat strikes and toe strikes and it was still really straight and long. I was carrying the 7 iron 195-202 yards for the ping and the 7mc was about 177-182 yards and same 34 degree loft. The guy fitting me feels the same way about the forgiving aspect
Nice irons, Rick! I'm hoping my Cleveland UHX set will last me a long time, I like the idea of the more hybrid style for longer irons and a traditional CB for the shorter ones.
Good decision in the end. I enjoyed you trying to find reasons to like the Pings over just the looks, but as soon as you hit that first shot I felt you needed to stick!
Could you use blades as a training set because you get more feedback on miss hits so you can work on dialing in your swing/game and get more consistency?
I just switch from PING Eye2 (circa 1982) to PING S57 (circa 2008) so maybe if I’m still alive in another dozen years I’ll get around to trying these. 😂 It was Karsten Solheim who invented the “Forgiveness” thing back in the 1960s with the A1 and Anser putters and EYE iron which is now just little understood marketing buzzword. The ideal takeaway swing arc is one where the radius if the hips, shoulders and body stays constantly parallel. But what occurs with toe heavy putters like Acushnet Bullseye and circa 1960s - 70s blade irons is the toe bias tried to twist the club in the hands and if it does the club swings inside of the parallel radius. So with blades the golfer needs to apply input with the right hand rotating against left in the grip to keep the weight in the toe from causing the left hand to pronate and the club to swing too far inside, the most common fatal error in the swing of most beginners. Solheim was an engineer in his 30s when taking up golf in the 1950 and he recognized that problem and realized the solution was the re-distribution of mass between heel and toe and top and sole of the club so when swung it would AUTOMATICALLY stay on a radius parallel to the body turn and not try to pronate the left hand so much and swing too far inside. Moving the mass more to the sole, toe and heel XxxxxX also creates less face deflection when ball strike is too far towards the toe, thus also “forgiving” of miss hits. The best way to appreciate the difference in feel in the hands is to buy an old blade 7 iron from the barrel at the thrift store then put a new grip on it identical to the one you are currently using and hit alternating shots with them to compared results. From 2007 - 2017 I did that three different complete sets of old thrift irons and what I conclude was that the old blades are the ones that should be called “Game Improvement” and the new tech called “Score Improvement” because the “forgiveness” hides the underlying swing flaws like being pulled off balance on toes as clubs get longer and swing force increases. Swinging those old unforgiving toe heavy blades taught me everything I was doing wrong and gave me a clue how to fix it.
Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video! Be sure to drop a like & subscribe so you don’t miss any new videos 🙌 thanks

You can spend a million bucks on the most advanced irons, and you're still going to play the same!
True
I remember getting my Apex CF16s and left myself a wedge in to the first hole and I holed it - that’s the sort of start you need
I love Rick’s vids but I’ve never seen a pro blame equipment as much as he does. Most of the time he hits a bad shot when testing new stuff, he immediately looks the the club as if he ain’t to blame.
I bought the p7MCs after your review of them and I absolutely love the irons. Always get comments on how goregous they are and they feel like a dream.
Investing in crypto is the best way to earn financial freedom.
This is the kind of information that we don’t get from most youtubers..
I could invest in Crypto but always got confused by it’s volatility in nature
@@austindonald6152 that won't bother you if you trade with a professional like Mr Jay Frank.
After watching several RUclips tutorial videos about trading I was still making losses until Mr Jay started managing my investment now I make $10,567 weekly.
Trading crypto with Frank is life changing moves.
Rick do you have a video on approach to the green? Struggling at 100/150 yds out. If not.... Please do one!! The tips have been brilliant so far.
Srixon ZX5 may be towards the game improving side but they game very well on the course thru mishits and thru the rough
I wish I could see you try out the srixon zx7, I see alot of great reviews but love to hear your opinion.
Great video as always Rick!
agreed
Good looks, feel, workability and forgiveness...I nearly swiped right by mistake at one point...and then the excitement was too much. Story of my life
It seems to me that you need to combo them! 3-5 I59, 6-owe Blueprints
Love the videos Rick, I've just got back in the game after 7 years and you've helped so much. Thanks man keep them coming.
rick you always brighten up my day
Here's the deal folks.
NEW IRONS..... that's a great idea..... I ordered a set of Radspeed Cobra irons on 19th May, so far three delivery dates have been and gone with not a lot of interest from Cobra Puma Care in the plight of the customer leaving the retailer to do all the apologising etc. latest delivery date, week commencing 13th September. Rick how about a feature on the supply issues within the golf club industry?
My Monday just got a little better! You da man Ricky
Rick, you need to get your irons custom fitted ie loft angle adjusted and (as importantly) the right shaft to suit your swing! You should then do a test with standard off the shelf irons v the same irons custom fitted to your swing. Performance will only really come with custom fitted irons. Love your vids!
Glad your sticking with the taylor made's
I bought the p790's after watching your recent review
Struggled massively at first but getting easier after a month
Love them , thanks Rick love your content and judgement, spot on every time !
Most of all your honesty and enthusiasm is addictive .
Asked you last month how many hole in ones you've got ?
Love to know ⛳⛳⛳
I honestly believe the Mizuno JPX 921 Forged or even Hot Metal Pro are your ideal iron Rick - would love to see you revisit them!
YOU MADE ME ABSOLUTELY LOVE GOLF! I AVERAGE ONLY 110 YARD W/ MY DRIVER!
I have a soft spot for Ping! I love the i210 but fell in love with the Hogans first!
Curious if these are fitted or off the shelf. Have you reviewed any cavity backs I do t recall. Thanks for the review
Rick, did you ever review the Ping S59's? I've had mine for many years and still love them.
I think the irons will be my next upgrade when i can afford it. I love striking irons. Great video! Rick always makes me want to go play but work says otherwise 😞
Playing i500 at the moment. Thinking to go for the i59. What do you think? Is it better then i500? Playing at hcp 6.6.
I appreciate the drill sounding beats behind the range session.
do you have custom set irons? do you mess with the lie angle up or down? or just put the shaft you want and hit them?
With everything you said in the intro, how are the new p770 not in the bag? I switched to them and love them
Rick coming in with the drill beat for the driving range video XD
How do these compare to the new t100 Rick? Is it worth a look?
Good decision in the end. I enjoyed you trying to find reasons to like the Pings over just the looks, but as soon as you hit that first shot I felt you needed to stick!
Could you use blades as a training set because you get more feedback on miss hits so you can work on dialing in your swing/game and get more consistency?
I just switch from PING Eye2 (circa 1982) to PING S57 (circa 2008) so maybe if I’m still alive in another dozen years I’ll get around to trying these. 😂
It was Karsten Solheim who invented the “Forgiveness” thing back in the 1960s with the A1 and Anser putters and EYE iron which is now just little understood marketing buzzword.
Hi Rick,
I’m looking to update my irons and drivers. Can you recommend a good set for a high handicap?
Thanks,
Gary
I'm still gaming ping g5's from the 2000's, looking into these irons before purchase. Great video
Great, bought these last month love getting second hand
Still got the Ping S55 and not going to change unless I have to love them!!!
Did the same thing went with 620mbs just for looks alone. Tough to nail them. Willing to pursue with them though 😬
