    Why does the LE not just release the Vechile log book and put it to bed once and for all. If it wasn't an issue then why did LE call Karen asking if she was sure of what she saw?

      I'm not convinced they didn't cover up a botched investigation. Just cause they had a few answers doesn't mean that's truth. What's truth is that police lie much like every human. Police mess up. I don't think they did something to her but it seems they are covering something up. I think people believe what they see on tv to much. If u actually watched the cops where not comfortable and the one was so guarded while his boss was in the room..... eh.. they are lying. I just agree they didn't hurt Maura Murray other than botched investigation.

    I grew up less than 30 minutes from where Maura Murray went missing. We used to go skiing at Franconia Notch at least once a month.
    First of all, it is NOT as "bone chilling" cold in February as these people have led on. In fact, It's March 5th right now and my father says it's over 40° out there right now. It is about as cold/warm as any other place that has a full 4 seasons. New York, Boston, Minnesota, The Dakotas, Michigan, etc. Just like everywhere else, it can get very cold but it usually averages out around 32° in the winter (just like everywhere else). So anyone who says it's extra cold up there is just wrong.
    Also, most people don't realize how quiet of an area it usually is in that area. I visited that spot once a few years ago on my way to go skiing when I was visiting my father. I was there for about 5-7 minutes (not much to see) and only one vehicle passed by in that time. My point is that they think that Maura was picked up by a passing motorist. And she very well could have been, but what really are the chances that within a 10-12 minute timeline (from the time of the accident to her leaving/disappearing) that one or two motorists passed her and one actually picked her up and that one in particular ended up being a crazed kidnapper/murderer?? Again, I'm not saying it didn't happen, but the chances are one in a million.
    I'd like to know what they think about Butch Atwood. Yes, I know he's been "ruled out" by the NH state police, but that doesn't mean anything these days.
    Butch Atwood stopped in front of Maura, people think that he simply asked her if she wanted him to call the police. But that's not true. Atwood asked Maura if she wanted to go to his house with him to "warm up" and get help. I think she was scared and very creeped out. Who wouldn't be? Especially if there were very few vehicles around. So she said no and that she had AAA on the way.
    His neighbors say that Butch Atwood had back his bus into his driveway and sat in his bus for 15-20 minutes. He claimed he was "doing his paperwork". But the neighbors say that they have never seen him do that before.
    Also, when the police showed him a photo of Maura, he said that wasn't her. Really???? Why would he lie?? Innocent people don't lie. That's almost a fact. Almost no one who's not guilty would ever lie to the police. However, guilty people will constantly lie to police, especially if it's to throw them off.
    Then there's some lady who said she saw another person sitting i n Mauras car. That also is not true. Apparently she just said that she saw a "red light" or something in the passenger seat. And people ended up blowing it out of proportion. Saying it was a person, a guy, etc.
    Some believe that she had a tandem driver or a car following her. Which I'm also not ruling out because when she had phoned the hotels for room prices, she asked for a room for 2 people. Also, the amount of alcohol she got was way too much for one person.
    I'm still not sure what I believe, to this day. My mind changes from time to time. I honestly don't think she will ever be found, unfortunately. It's sad, but common sense.

      All good points!
      Like how much paperwork does a rural bus driver have?
      Will this ever be solved? It will take a major unexpected break. I'd say 50-50 chance is over-optimistic.

    The Oxygen website may have stated re-opened, but Maggie definitely parrotted it. Her exact words were, “Basically since we have started working on this, the State police are looking into, or if you want to say re-opening the case, so they’re going back and reinterviewing everybody.” Own up to it. She misspoke. That is all the clarification you needed. Making excuses makes it worse.

    Where would this case be if it weren't for all this "milking"? I agree that this case is most baffling and there is no conclusion in sight after 14 years. If this were my daughter, I would welcome any light that could possibly be shed on her disappearance. Without these podcasts, there would be no effort by anyone, including law enforcement to solve this case.

    In my opinion Tim, Lance ,and John Smith have done way more on this investigation than these two with the Oxygen logo stamped on it. Maggi acts like she came up with all this herself and Art seems like her puppet. I don't care for them and like I said Tim ,Lance and John already had all the info they repeated on the Oxygen show, I saw nothing that I hadn't already seen! And the fact they are saying the police reopened the case ,like if it hadn't been for their show no one would know anything, it's a little misleading. I personally don't like being mislead, after that I see they were just here to put their name on this and get some publicity. She loves when people send her leads so she can pass them on to the police? What?!

    • @HomewreckerHaHa
      @HomewreckerHaHa 6 лет назад +3

      I disagree. Art and Maggie debunked a lot of theories that Lance, Tim and John weren't able to because the three weren't privy to the information that the police provided to Art and Maggie.. However, Lance, Tim and John provided the groundwork for Art and Maggie which helped them debunked the theories. They all deserve credit to a certain degree.

    ok what happened about the knife that was turned in??? did they check it for DNA,? I never heard anything about the knife that was turned in,,why did the Police not take action of it right away ~?????

    • @hankmoody940
      @hankmoody940 6 лет назад

      Beach Waves it was positive for blood. Two people. Male and female dna but they still have to compair the dna to Maura. I forget exact details but it was degraded so they had issues separating the two profiles. So they need to check her dna to see if it matched up. Anyway it was the last episode. I assume the answer will be in whatever they plan to do next. Add another few episodes ... a special update show. Idk... or Google it and see what u can find. I'm gonna. It is a big deal they found dna and it could be an answer but I would think if they knew and compared the DNA by now we would have heard about it... But if they did it it also should be easy to Google. Not sure what the update is. Hope this helps.

      Kathy Petty they have been involved since day 1 - especially initially , however nhp told them not to worry they have a handle on it and FBI is willing to step in if they ask for it, unfortunately no one's ever going to find her until somebody talks or turns on someone.

      This is one of my theories as well. I bounce back and forth between a couple. This would explain why Lavoie was called instead of the other tow company who was supposed to be called. It would also explain why they deny 001 being there and also why their timeline is off. And would explain why they sold 001 much sooner than usual.

    • @hankmoody940
      @hankmoody940 6 лет назад

      Lorie Cain what do u mean? All her info gets past on. If your from the state's u prob are aware of who she is. Psychics are intriguing to me. If u have 100 plus psychics making 10,000 plus predictions a year some are bound to be right. However this one's accuracy is strange to me. ... to many fakes for me to ever say I believe in that stuff but Alyson (the medium) is one that I haven't found much stuff on her as far as how she does What she does like if u look into long island medium you'll find all her secrets.

    The 911 calls did not state that it was a woman. It wasn't until he spoke to Butch that he knew it was a woman. Yet he went to Westermans first and asked "where is the girl" ( as stated by Faith). Can you explain that?

    This was an interesting discussion. And, of course, the Oxygen show has done much to raise awareness in this case.
    Here's the rub: No body, no crime. I fear this denotes someone who is criminally sophisticated...someone with a learning curve who learned to cover their tracks over time.
    I hope I'm wrong. Maura and the Murray family remain in my prayers.
    Saw this on another site. May be worth a look-see. Settle in. Lol.
