- In this video Misha shows you can get an amazing mix using just the stock plug-ins found in Cubase and GGD Invasion.

Stock plugins always get over looked. I'm a Logic user, it was the first DAW i got and i haven't felt the need to switch. A lot of the stuff that comes with the DAW is perfectly fine for mixing. I still do have third party stuff but its not always required to get a good sound. Great video

Well there is MIXING and then there is FIXING. He is mixing and enhancing sounds. Most people are working with bad source tones and have to fix them. Its hard to fix something and THEN mix it. Ears get too used to sounds. Always good to step away for a bit.
This was immensely helpful thank you! only thing im not sure if I got was sidechaining the snare and kick on the bus ill have to learn more about sidechaining

Hey i am confused about what is pre and post fader as sends in your project. i think cubase changed the colors of it in 9 or 10...so what color is pre and what is post? i dont know how to use them and why you use post or pre...so it would be great to now! thanks for all your stuff and music you throw at us!

1 Main left and right, 1 secondary left and right with slightly different settings, not very loud!
How do you mix each individual piece of the drums, never used cubase but it seems to me you only have one midi track. never really understood how you can mix individually like that, could someone maybe bear a simple explanation? thanks!
Just doing multi-out routing, we have videos showing you how to set that up for your respective DAW!

What are your buffer settings? My invasion keeps overloading cpu; even when on 128, 256, and 512...

what is the 'turbo-processing' he is referring to?
Lars Bauer It's just a setting that makes the drums sound more saturated. it adds compression, eq curves and probably some more dynamics to make them punch more.

@@LarsBauer74 Yup it's a knob in Invasion, you can add it to whatever part of the kit you want.
@@MishaMansoor thanks Misha! one more question: in the first step in your video on the processing you are showing what you use on the master bus. is that bus you are processing there the master bus of all the drum tracks only or is it the master stereo out of everything (including guitars and bass)?
