  • With infinite options and possibilities it can be useful to commit to a 'performance' to finalise a song or mix. In this video Joe shows how to do so using Logic Pro X and Invasion.

    How do you get the tracks being mono when exporting them? I do the exact same steps and always end up with stereo tracks -.-

    How do you do this if you already have a full song that you’re trying to export stems for? I currently have a GGD plug in on the drums but am unable to figure out how to get to the mix window for each track like that, as it only shows the 1 single track of drums with all the parts on it. I do have GGD routed into logic

      Hey Kevin, I had this issue as well and figured out a work around that worked for me and made a short video on it! its basically creating tracks from your mixer and then bounding them all out together! ruclips.net/video/qg5VEryfmDU/видео.html&ab_channel=JHSPedals

    I followed this tutorial but I only get the kick as a stem. No other sounds. I literally watched the folder and it showed all the separate stems then only kick was left.

    Wouldn’t it be easier to just bounce tracks in place? That’s what I do and saves having to save to disk and reimport.

    • @XiyuYang
      @XiyuYang 4 года назад

      James Angus It doesn’t work with a multi out instrument track, you’re only bouncing output 1 of the instrument.

    • @sandonealex3969

      @@XiyuYang I actually just made a video on how to bounce out every track as audio files from the single instrument midi track. This method also totally works!

    How do you set it up right at the very beginning? When you start this, you had 15 midi tracks already receiving the info. I use Kontakt and it has everything in one stereo channel. So, how do I get that one stereo channel into 15 separate midi channels to get started where you start?

      Check out the routing drums video GGD has on here! Also make sure your drums are on multi-output stereo hope this helps!

    Cool vid! How do you export the kick, snare, toms, so they're in mono and not all stereo?

    • @sandonealex3969
      @sandonealex3969 2 года назад +1

      When you are first making the software instrument track you can make it a 16xoutput mono instead of stereo from the beginning.

    I don't see any reasons why you would want to export 16 bits files to be honest 😅
