*This video is a miracle.* I've needed this information for months now. I ventured into home recording about four months ago, and I bought Cubase Elements and GGD Invasion because I was extremely impressed with the videos/tracks Misha Mansoor made. It's been a very difficult journey so far (I was a slow learner). GGD support really went out of their way to help me, but the person wasn't a Cubase user and wasn't able to go as in-depth as Krzysztof does here.

The way this is converted to audio files works fine, but there's an alternative way to do it that, IMO, is much faster. Rather than creating all those Output busses and then doing all that routing, you can do an Audio Mixdown and export multiple channels and then select the VST instrument tracks directly. It will bounce all them down into individual files which you can import and Cubase will automatically create audio tracks for them.

There's lots of great features in Cubase (and kontakt) but I find that there's a general lack of great tutorials on it. Even this one could do with some clean up. Not sure what to tackle next. @KrzychoStal  4 года назад +1

Riffa22 hey man! First of all thanks for watching. That multiple selection issue is a giant PITA! As far as I’ve found there’s no 100% way to avoid it. What you have to sow when it pops up, basically, is that you’ll notice all the cymbal tracks are “highlighted”. You have to click around the bottom/sides of any one of the tracks (around where the channel drop down is) until only that single track is “highlighted” then it’ll let you route individually after that

I can't seem to make this work where I write a few parts and then import a groove pack for one section of a song. Great video! I just picked up GGD today and have been follow your steps. They have saved me a ton of time!...
The only issue i'm running into now, is when i import a GGD MIDI from one of it's grooves, it's not mapping properly to the Drum Map. I tried decided to use your map and create my own map and map each note one-to-one with GGD-Invasions default mappings and when i pulled the MIDI back in, i noticed it did the same thing and mapped to the wrong notes in Cubase again.
    Example:
The Kick & Snare are mapped to B-1 and D0 in GGD
When i import a midi into cubase they are remapped to C1 & D1, which is TOM 1 and TOM 3
