Loving these videos dude! You might already know this but if you highlight a selection of midi notes then hit function inside the piano roll section, midi transform, randomize velocity and you can select the min and max range to get randomized velocities after applying. Super useful for me at least when I have an abundance of ghost notes lol also at 23:51 idk if you have the same problem I do but logic hates it when I have a channel strip selected thats from a multi out and a soon as I press play it starts having a seizure 😂
I do know about that, I just find that I end up having to correct the randomization more than I’d prefer to. So I just go in there one at a time; it’s what works best for me! Also yes my Logic also has a seizure when I select a multi-out track 😂
If I had to guess the input channel you are recording the voice-over into is probably set to stereo but the signal is mono thus throwing it to the one side.
@@ohitsjudd if that’s all that it is, I’ll be super happy lol I spent so long trying to figure this out and just gave up 😂 hopefully the mic will be fixed next vid
I keep coming back to your videos, and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you dude. Between this and your play through videos, I’m a huge fan.
Playing with dynamics/velocities, even in the slightest way possible, is the key to getting realistic sounding MIDI drums.
Concisely explained!
Super helpful again man! Also the track sounds so sick omg
Thanks!!

Loving these vids man! Btw your vocal track is on the left side.
Thanks man, trying to figure it out. OBS is clearly not my specialty 😂 hopefully I have it fixed by the next episode
@@andrewvirrueta6767 should be an option in advanced audio settings that says (Downmix to Mono)
@@mikalo05 this fixed it. THANK YOU 🤘🤘🤘

Should mix the voice-over to mono so its not in just the left monitor.
