The real problem is the way bigger guy that actually runs United Health Care. He is the actual CEO and runs everything from a parent company venture group called “United Health Group”. It’s a venture group and the CEO of that group is the real CEO. The CEO that got shot was beneath the main guy that set up the whole system. Brian Thompson who got shot was like a “fall guy” CEO so in case they got called to court, Brian Thompson would have to be the face of United and get publicly shamed. The real CEO is way more powerful and probably really upset. He may have this kid and or lawyer killed. When you try to kill billionaires who don’t have no morals and are already killing millions of people by denying them healthcare, they usually come back after you and kill you. If it is this kid that really shot Brian Thompson, he probably doesn’t even know what type of danger he is in now. He probably doesn’t even know that the CEO he shot isn’t the one who make the real decisions or that another bigger guy named Andrew Witty is the bigger CEO of the venture investment group , or that an even bigger guy than Andrew witty named Richard Burke is still alive and retire that set up the entire healthcare corruption scam system and helped create the laws allowing healthcare companies to deny patients and loopholes for them to win against patients in court . Richard Burke founded united health care when he bought Charter Hospital system a non profit, and he changed the name to United health and made it for profit. He had already been involved in a huge medical scandal before and he was the CEO of Glaxco SmithKlien and fined the biggest fine in history for giving doctors bonuses to prescribe opiates to patients Richard Burke left Glaxco, and got involved in the government think tank that created HMOs and the healthcare laws that allowed for profit loopholes. He then started United Health to exploit the new laws he helped create and to profit from denying people. This shooter killed one of the smaller guys involved. They are going kill that kid. These are the biggest drug cartel members in our country. American drug lords. This kid tried to kill one of them. This is why the main guys don’t put themselves front and center, they protect themselves by removing accessibility of themselves and letting a puppet CEO run the day to day stuff and take any heat or any bullets.
@ It’s public knowledge. When Andrew Witty was CEO Of Glaxo GSK , he went to court. GSK was fined the biggest fines in healthcare history for the worst business practices for missleading patients, bribing, and paying out doctors bonuses to prescribe unneeded drugs and to make false diagnosis. The court hearings were televised. I remember watching them on cable tv. These are facts.

The only evidence he’s seen relating to the shooting is what was on the news, and he’s allowed to comment on that for the specific purpose of undoing any prejudice against his client, but aside from that, he still has to walk on eggshells and not taint the proceedings by engaging with the media attention.
Press conferences like this are a malpractice trap for lawyers. If you aren’t satisfied with these answers, blame the state bar’s rules of professional responsibility.
Such interviews shouldn't be allowed in the first place. Everything should be happening within the court of law. A nullified jury is a jury that returns a not guilty verdict in a criminal trial, even though they believe the defendant is guilty. This can happen when jurors:
Believe the law is unjust
Believe the prosecutor misapplied the law
Believe the punishment is too harsh
Have general frustrations with the criminal justice system
Have prejudices in favor of the defendant
Somehow .. I believe the Jury will return a "Not Guilty" on all charges verdict! That would help tip the scales of justice back to where it's supposed to be! I love reading all these comments!!!

@@MerwinARTist Each prospective juror is screened by both parties, wherein one of the first questions will be whether any juror would be unable to deliver a verdict based solely on the facts of the case. As a German with access to a more or less good health care system, I‘m totally on the side of the millions of US American victims of greedy health insurance companies. Health insurance by law, like in Germany, isn‘t communism. It‘s not communism to know that you are taken care of. I can visit the doctor as many times as I‘m feeling I need to do. It‘s totally unimaginable to me, not going to the doctor, because you have to pay for it or are living in fesr, the insurance won‘t pay for it. People in the US for are need in help, tell others to NOT call an ambulance because they can‘t afford it. What is this? I grew up on american propaganda: America, the land of the free, the land of unlimited possibilities, from dish washer to millionaire. But in the end you people have a health care system, that‘s worse than what most third world countries has. And you even do it by choice. Because it‘s communism to don‘t live in debt because of a broken leg. Or because you studied, to be a member of society whos paying taxes. This whole „this is communism“ thing is destroying the fabric of your country. I mean you and I are chearing this guy. When do you start to overthink the way, you are living, the people you are voting etc.?! Why are you keep accelerating if you already can see the wall, you are aproaching? What is wrong with your country and the choices you people are taking every single day? Why aren‘t there acts like this everey day? What is wrong with you?

@Piat65 bro is saying trash conspiracy with 0 evidence. Wild
@@Piat65 it wasn't merely a claim denial. It was whole system of barriers to prevent him from getting proper care. The insurance company fought against treatment at every turn. And it's not just some random person, it's someone who has chronic pain and will struggle to defend themselves against that system. It's predatory. The person who built that system is in leadership. So targeting leadership makes perfect sense.
If Rittenhouse got off, maybe this guy can. you should have a right to defend yourself against an organization that puts you in mortal danger. especially if you pay for protection.....
LAW IS WHERE YOU BUY IT
And Penny!
@@None-zc5vg there is no such thing as law, just applicable law, and if you don't have the moeny, then the law applies to you, if you have money, the law doesn't apply to you
Well said!!!
Self defense requires an overt act. It’s not gonna hold up in court
Yeah. I keep hearing rumors of Luigi yelling something as he left the police car, but I certainly didn't hear him say that because he was at my house playing xbox in Ohio.
Stupid media lying.
Yeah I remember that man...I was handing you guys an L in BO6
I'm an Altoona native, born, raised and still here, and it's so surreal for this all to happen here. My mom is an attorney and has known Tom for decades and he's a family friend. So weird to see this all.
There is absolutely no reason bond wasn't set for Luigi according to law.
In Canada, a judge can deny bail if the prosecution has a very strong case and the crime alleged would call for a period of incarceration. I'd imagine the law is similar in the US. If they have surveillance footage tracing him back to his DNA on a Starbucks cup, that doesn't leave a lot of room for doubt.
Diddy didn't get bond even though he's tried three times
He's a flight risk..PDiddy still locked down. No Bond. So, the light skinned Luigi (aka GiGi) will be held over until trial. GiGi, cancel Christmas!
@@Alex-js5lg Well this isn't Canada.
Except for the fact that bail is denied for defendants being extradited, which most definitely he will be sent to NY. If bail happens it will happen in the state that issued the warrant.
i demand congress to intervene. We need change. Its not allowed to profit at our detriment.
Lol not this next congress. Maybe in 4 years.
Politicians of both parties are just as if not more corrupt than the healthcare institutions. Every institution of America is terminally corrupt and anti-human
You people are crazy. "We need the government to subsidize healthcare!" Service is terrible. "Stop corporate profiteering from taxpayers!" The smartest thing they did was call the government Healthcare administration "Marketplace!" 😂😂
Good luck with that. The incoming congress doesn't care about you, me ,or him
@@mvwoon"subsidize" NO. PROVIDE.
Do these reoorters not understand the concept of attorney/client confidentiality?
Media…sooo annoying 😖
They stupid
Apparently not
He said it many different ways
In the world we live with the internet they usually think they're owed information unfortunately
Of course they do but why do a press conference if you can’t answer questions? The guy wants his face out there and notoriety for this high profile case. Let’s be real.
Thank God he has this man as his attorney . love this guy he is AWESOME justice for Luigi Mangione.
This lawyer more than likely wont be the one representing him in New York.
He may not be licensed with new york state bar.
@@larrymosher5045And of all the questions the media asked. That wasn't. Good question
They can admit him .
@@larrymosher5045 There is a Bar Reciprocity between New York and Pennsylvania. So, yes, he could represent him in NY.
Pro hac vice allows attorneys to practice in the courts of other states regardless of bar reciprocity.
I hope his family stands by his side 🙏
I’m sure that they will. He seems to be much loved. I myself, from a police family, am dealing with my son getting himself into trouble, and it has absolutely devastated our entire family. My soul feels like it bleeding non stop. He is my only living child and is in custody. But nothing will ever make me turn my back on him, he is my life. And I’m sure that this young man”s mum feels exactly the same way. You cannot kill the love of a mother for her child.
You mean the victim right ?
Having hired an obviously great attorney for him they appear to be doing that.
@@velvetfog4310It was by default look at their wealth
