petition for misha to do more songwriting content
Yeah but it would be great to make it actually SONGWRITING content and not just "Play some random ambient to random beat, add layer or two - DONE"
He honestly needs to hop on Twitch and stream him writing. He already seems to have a decent set up for it, plus it’s another source of income.
Petition for the guys to live in the same city and write together content.
@@terrycrews6179 would be a bad idea to leak their upcoming songs like that in twitch?

GGD: *new misha video*
me: pausing what ever the hell I was doing for 25 minutes
Same yo
(Btw, love your templates
NIce to see you here :)
me: pausing video to like this comment
I am also very selective to watching entire half hour videos.
“I kinda rushed through this for time sake...”
dude this would be my final project bounced 😂😂😂
Me: 2 weeks on riffs then go back tweaking for another 6 weeks
6 weeks slapping drum samples together
Misha: 20 minute and a dope ass song is created.
Good thing I have a day job lol
he also has a billion dollar set-up ready to go for him with all of this at his disposal. sit you in that exact same room and i bet you churn something sick out too
@@hardsoftgames8344 Man, I have way past all the gear, toys and samples I need to create whatever the hell I want. I have decently ridiculous skills too. I still struggle to churn out songs due to being overly self-critical and getting hung up on details for no reason. You can make good music with anything nowadays. That's the easy part.
@@nerothos I doubt this is a standard Misha way of compose for an album. He is just showing some stuff, the idea is cool but he would make it in a way it match better with the drum Pattern. But it is a super nice video nontheles.
@@hardsoftgames8344 It has literally nothing to do with the equipment, Misha isn't even that rich, and have you heard his old Bulb works? He was a musical genius from the beginning.
Can’t wait to hear the completed version on P5
Coming soon!! 😁
@@xXxThelegend27xXx do you know that for sure? Like how long? Within a whole year? Dude it feels just like yesterday when P4 came out. I’m fuckin hyped
@@nmularoni1 Now we know it's March 10th
@@Calamitous yessiryyyy 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
My favorite part about this is Misha taking the time to listen back through everything in real time. Cuz that's just how producer life actually be. Listening back over and over again.
People don't think producer life be like it is but it do.
@@NissansAndGibsons I didn't know producer life would be like that, but now i see that it is INDEED, like that.
I could watch him 24/7/365 and sometimes even 366
Reminded me of the good old days of watching Misha track the demo for "The Bad Thing" all those years ago. Great stuff!
these are always so interesting and inspiring. you should do a 6 hour version and go just totally crazy with it. i bet a lot of people here would watch the whole thing right away haha
22:57 dont mind me, I am just creating a reply button for myself.
PLEASE TURN THIS INTO A REAL PERIPHERY SONG
Obligatory "Misha could start a rock band and become the biggest band in the word" comment
Maybe in the realm of progressive metal
0:24 “I actually don’t do this very much because I’m kind of IN A BAND WITH HIM!!!”
I just started writing music again for the first time in years and i LOVE seeing his process. these videos are great!
Got Damn, that riff makes me want to go home and make something right now. I may check out this pack. I have P4 only atm
I don't understand how your levels are all so PERFECT right off the start, nice!
This was incredible Misha! Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and process.
Dope riffage Mr Bulbasaur! The delay is still going in my head.. head.. head.. head.. head.. head.. head..
I love this sooo much! You should release this song.
This was fantastic! Do more of this man!
thanks misha, these videos are always entertaining and insightful!
Wait that octave effect makes the distorted guitars gel so well with the bass. Such a neat trick!
Thats what they used on juggernaut too , heard it in a Nolly video. I love that trick too makes the guitars seem so big .
@@DarioGuitar what effect type are u using as a pitch on the axe fx? this sounds amazing
This is amazing and entertaining to watch!! Love you Mischa!!
Dear Misha!!
You are truly an inspiration. We love you and your work.
Thank you for sharing your amazing song writing approach with us.

MY GOD, this is so beautiful!
So awesome you post videos like this. It's inspiring and helpful to so many of us mere mortals.
So good man, loving the vibe!
This is exceptional content - it's the reason I always tell people to go with GGD - always dishing out the goods!
I love your writing sessions sooo much. ....
Next step for GGD:
1.Tomas Haake's samples
2. Elliot Hoffman's samples
3. Anup Sastry's samples
World can end afterwards🦸♂️
anus pastry
Add Thomas Pridgen and we’re done here.
+1 for Anup
+1 for Tomas and + 1 for Elliot Hoffman both are insane, especially Elliot, he’s kind of an engineer too
So cool man! Please do an in depth songwriting course on some learning platforms. I'm sure you'll have lots of clients (including me) :D
Misha is so so talented!
Please live stream these writing sessions and just keep writing! This was awesome.
It's so fucking inspiring how easy you make it look and how direct and precise your vision of the final product is, I love this videos :)
I keep on coming for this amazing post rockish music...misshaa all the way
This is so great! Thank you very much for the content 👍🤘🙂
This is so inspiring, thank you!
I love this song idea.. please do more content like this!!
honestly this is one of the most satisfying things to watch. i wish he would do the same for one complete periphery song. i would´nt even think about hitting pause even if it was 20 hours long :D
22:00 glad to see that happens to everyone 😆
Haha happens every time I think I nailed the part.
I dont get it how you undestanding music is just beyond me. Keep creating videos like this. It is very helpfull
Thank you for considering my vote I really appreciate it. 11:22
that 3rd part is just awesome
love that guitar, i want one
Honestly the simplicity makes this so much better. Like wtf
Yes! Great watch. 👊
This is so good! Watch the goat at work! These drum loops are incredible too! This sounds like a Marigold prt 2 in the works haha.
Long time no see misha mansoor.. We need part 2
Great process. I'm starting to grasp how to do this.
Misha, thanks and so eager to chase y'all again on the West Coast, USA legs of your first tour--post this infuriating virus! Awesome man!
And another master piece is born!
I love that delay into distortion messy character ^_^
this was a great insight, cheers
Dreamy and humongous ♥️
Thank you, that's helpfull. Got the pack 3/4 weeks ago, then realized i had to get a kit (🙄🤭 got mh previous kit). So after some hastle to get it right in reaper checking around vids to map it right and deal with kontakt, i can say i finaly have my first decent kit. I did a first song ("no walls kid" on my channel for those of you desperate) using the patterns that go with the mh kit and playing around. Still not good at mixing the all thing so i also try to learn my way through nolly's masterclasses. But I didn't know what to make of the grooves as they are pretty sick. now this vid pushes me to explore these again, maybe with more laidback riffs, rich drumming doesn't mean complex riffing i guess. Thank you for providing all these lessons with the getgooddrum products as that's the only way for us to improve as we probably have only a fews hours per week to be less mediocre at this !👍🤘
Amazing.... I’m such a fan, but loved that!
Sounds so good
Nice! Just go ahead and release this on Spotify.
Nice insight into how your songwriting process works! Also, the drums sound sick.
You got beautiful taste bub. Keep up the good work!
Brilliant, I love your writing videos, they are extremely inspiring, You are a god.
this guy is good! the guys at Periphery should consider collaborating
lol
Sounds like he's just trying to rip off that Bulb guy tbh
This meme is still going?
WOW, yeah! That sounds awesome! At last a proper tutor, guiding through not shitty EDM music, but something progy. Very nice workflow, i find this very inspiring! Good job! You're an amazing composer, misha.
Would definitely love this as a Periphery song. Misha is a master of melodies.
That was siiiiiick Misha 🤘🏽🔥
Please consider developing that further! Already sounding great. Inspirational
I'm ready for a Misha Post-Rock Ep thank you
Very cool, Misha. I’m getting real Cloudkicker vibes from this track!
OMG puh-LEASE do more videos like this....
So sick!!
Amazing!
Great video to watch on quarantine lockdown
9:42 watching the DI track alongside the wet signal really shows the effect compression has on a signal. Just a random tidbit I wanted throw out there, lol.
That Dingwall sounds amazing
Misha's little dubbed guitar trick is blowing my mind right now
Man, Misha and Matt would play so well together! They should start a band
Please misha make a song out of it!! its so addictive
That is a really cool Jackson!
Dude, Misha is soooo fast on the DAW. I think that definitely goes a long way towards knocking out ideas when you're inspired.
I vote GG Drums do a John Otto groove pack.
Hell yes! Or a Ray Luzier pack would be awesome
Take 'em to the Matthews bridge!
@@abcdefghijkl5408 best response!
Too cool man.
Periphery - All New Materials pt. 2 coming up, great!
I loved the little eye bling at the end. But yeah, the rest of the video was cool... I GUESS... :D
I've never written music that fits anywhere close to Misha's, but I love his songwriting content.
Blatantly rip him off till you find your own voice. Most song writers rip of alot of there favorite artist even tho they may not admit. 100% original music is almost non existent.
those AAL patches on the axe fx 3..... :)
It's because of misha and his channel that inspire me to write music again when he first introduce me to cubase and toontrack with ez drummer 2 and again he sounds so awesome using this method. Love how he uses this technique to easily write music. Thanks misha for your inspiring me to write again. Most of my music is in soundcloud.com
Just type in pogijuice9061 on the search engine.
That guitar...
awesome
Dear Misha. Even Mike Shinoda is on twitch where he records his songs live, i guess you know about that but anyways. Lets do this man!
Looking quarantine comfy, brother!
Give you a dollar for that Axe-FX preset. 😁
Oh...and...just picked this up and yea, they really are the best sounding drum plugin I've ever heard. Annoying you have to buy the MIDI packs separately, but with the "indoors33" coupon code, it's forgivable.
Please do another 3 part masterclass!!!
So I can expect this to appear on Periphery V then? Awesome, thanks!
Hey! GGD must be a good band, but you should play in periphery too!
love it
I need the complete song!
Knows what he's doing, pretty good
Where do you store all of your sound libraries? I'd imagine you could easily fill your hdd / ssd and then some with all of those.
Hey, Misha. It would be totally cool if you made your Cubase basic setup available for download. Also which effects you use like for example those of Slate Digital. That would be great and *totally inspiring*. Thank you very much
Is there anywhere I can get your Cubase template(s)? It seems like you have a great setup for writing and recording and I would love to have a template like that!
Chord progression @ 3:42...better than anything i've ever written LOL
gawt damn those drums slam.
