SS was so boring! I haven't seen this movie yet, but I can already tell just by the trailer alone that it's better than SS. I also like how we get to see things from Harley's POV and how this movie focuses more on her discovering herself and learning to move on from Joker.
As a guy, I really enjoyed the movie (since I see a lot of people in the comments calling it a push on feminism agenda) Sure, Cassandra Cain isn't the way she's portrayed in the comics BUT as it's own universe I thought the movie was fantastic, thrilling and hella entertaining. You also have to take in mind the budget was extremely low, Margot even invested into the film herself because she has a love for Harley and wanted the film to succeed. Could things have been done better, yes. Just like every other movie but I love it for what it is
Unfortunately, it didn't even profit as much as they had hoped. Maybe the combination of hate, locals not knowing much about Harley or the birds of prey, and maybe even COVID was the reason. I really hope this doesn't discourage them from possibly making more films about these characters. They're not the peak of the film industry obviously, but they're really fun characters.

I really liked this movie. I don’t understand the hate. It was really fun and I appreciated how it didn’t sexualize the female characters. I wish they delved more into the other characters but I understand this was Harley’s movie. Margot Robbie was fantastic and the soundtrack is great too.

the screenplay was crap, I'll never understand why he gets so much shit when he got the worst character design and worst screenplay a joker has ever gotten. I mean, there's only so much you can do. Tone it down a little and give him good lines/arc and we might have a great Joker. Probably not as good as Nicholson/Ledger/Phoenix, but still a good one.

Shyam Singh Maybe they will be but if you were going by the trailer alone you would never get that idea, Harley is put into focus so much in this trailer, not helping is that compared to everyone else she’s the most noticeable. Not helping is the fact that the rest of the Birds of Prey where normal clothing and just not resemble their comic book counterpart in any way, Black Canary is a good example here, and some people would probably forget that she was even onscreen for a few shots.
