I saw the movie and it sucked. However I thought Margot Robbie was the only good thing about the movie. The Leto's Joker had potential but needed a lot of work. First problem was developed took the wrong direction with it. The Joker Is essentially a psychotic existential nihilist who's out to have a good time. Leto didn't quite pick up on that. And just made him a hate-filled psychopath.

Imagine if they put her in her normal skin tight black and red catsuit and tell me that doesn’t look like the start to a bdsm clip. 😂😂 The only reason I’d say her canon outfit in suicide squad is too “oh la la” is because the shorts sorta went up her butt, and in the comics the shorts go a little lower so you cant see the booty lines as prominent. Either way, I just see Harley as someone who can be sexy but that’s not all of what she’s about, she has so much more dimension to her than just being sexy, (after all that’s poison ivys favorite gimmick). Even if that is so, it really shouldn't have been. That toxic relationship dynamic is a huge part of Harley's character and what made her interesting. He never returns even a drop of the love and devotion Harley has for him, and he doesn't notice when she's gone. She is nothing but a toy to him. A toy that he can beat on, throw to the wolves, leave for dead, and repeat, because he knows she isn't going to leave.

Even though Harley claimed her independence from the Joker in BOP, in the comics they were always on and off and I would like to see her get back with him in the Cinema. What made their relationship so tragic and yet so interesting was that when he hurt her, she'd finally seen that he was using her but then he does some grand gesture that always makes her go back and it's a continuous cycle. It trails back to codependency, manipulations and shows that the Jokers worst victim is Harley.

I thought they portrayed that dynamic well, especially halfway in season one throughout her journey of independence she fell back in love again yet he dropped her once she was of no use anymore. I just watched Suicide Squad again on HBO last night. I hadn’t seen it since it was in the theatre and as far as I’m concerned Margot stole every scene she was in. Amazing actress,and whoever cast her,she played Harley perfectly. In my eyes,Margot Robbie and Charlene Theron are the best of their generation. Charlene in Atomic Blond was just awesome! I love both of these actresses. Everything I’ve seen them in was perfect.❤️❤️❤️

I've got a five Harley Quinn comic volumes at home, and 2 suicide squad volumes. I prefer the version of Harley Quinn where she is no longer dating the joker she is just so funny in those comics, and just seems like a better character after breaking up with the joker. I'm actually looking forward to birds of prey if Margot nailed the role like she already had once before I will likely enjoy the movie

As a woman though I enjoyed it but that’s pretty biased because I loved Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. I just wish they elaborated more on why her and joker broke up because the movie starts off with her being kicked out and dumped by the joker. However, it had a “deadpool” story telling feel to it and I also loved that movie. All in all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just go watch it to decide for yourself.

Even if that is so, it really shouldn't have been. That toxic relationship dynamic is a huge part of Harley's character and what made her interesting. Now all the feminists want her to be a smart and independent woman, which is not true to the character. She is actually co-dependent and not very smart at all. I mean, she is definetely intelligent, but chooses to be abused by the Joker who is an absolute psychopath that does not return her feelings for him. That is who the character actually is. Now, I will admit that I am not against the idea of the character evolving, and I do think it is pretty logical that if she stayed with the Joker, she would eventually end up dead or choose to seperate herself from him entirely. I don't have a problem with that. If it's done to support a Feminist agenda, however, then I have no respect for that. The same way I have no respect for Feminism in general.

Even though Harley claimed her independence from the Joker in BOP, in the comics they were always on and off and I would like to see her get back with him in the Cinema. What made their relationship so tragic and yet so interesting was that when he hurt her, she'd finally seen that he was using her but then he does some grand gesture that always makes her go back and it's a continuous cycle. It trails back to codependency, manipulations and shows that the Jokers worst victim is Harley.

I thought they portrayed that dynamic well, especially halfway in season one throughout her journey of independence she fell back in love again yet he dropped her once she was of no use anymore. Batman The Animated Series did a terrific yet emotional job with showing her need of codependency for the Joker and how he'd abuse her yet she'd turn a blind eye for love.

I just watched Suicide Squad again on HBO last night. I hadn’t seen it since it was in the theatre and as far as I’m concerned Margot stole every scene she was in. Amazing actress,and whoever cast her,she played Harley perfectly. In my eyes,Margot Robbie and Charlene Theron are the best of their generation. Charlene in Atomic Blond was just awesome! I love both of these actresses. Everything I’ve seen them in was perfect.❤️❤️❤️

I prefer the version of Harley Quinn where she is no longer dating the joker she is just so funny in those comics, and just seems like a better character after breaking up with the joker. Suicide Squad was a decent enough movie, but Birds of Prey was just a stupid 'woke' movie about a bunch of chicks being 'tough' and kicking the bad guys asses - and the bad guys weren't even that bad (seriously, Ewan McGregor is not a bad guy). And this is coming from a female (me) who loves comic book movies. The jokes didn't land and it felt like it just tried too hard. Don't waste your money on a cinema viewing.
As a woman though I enjoyed it but that’s pretty biased because I loved Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. I just wish they elaborated more on why her and joker broke up because the movie starts off with her being kicked out and dumped by the joker. However, it had a “deadpool” story telling feel to it and I also loved that movie. All in all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just go watch it to decide for yourself.
