It was Pat Simmons, founder member of the Doobie Brothers. I felt so stupid, but he was very kind. Keanu flies coach, the subway, walks wherever he can even though he is a multimillionaire. He's just chill.
If that's true he's an idiot.
I refuse to fly "coach", I could afford to fly business etc. so I just never fly anywhere
Maybe he takes public transport cause there’s a higher chance he'd be recognized than if we were to drive

Keanu is such a down to earth person. He lost his pregnant girlfriend years ago in a tragic accident and hes always been just a nice real person. You could probably walk up to him and just have a normal conversation about anything with him and hes just a smart, interesting polite guy to talk to. This is exactly how celebrities should be! Right😂 cringe.

In Jerry's defense, he wouldn't have hugged Kesha even if he knew who she was.
I think he was just doing a parody of the Seinfeld show where Kramer wanted all the tenants in the building to have their photos on the lobby wall and greet each other with hugs and kisses, and Jerry refused after awhile.
She looks ... sticky.
Jerry is famously a germaphobe, I am not at all surprised he didn't hug whoever that chick was.
Because he’s an asshole or because she looks sticky?
Either way jerry is still an asshole in real life, not necessarily here cuz I know he’s a germaphobe, but just in general he’s an asshole in real life lol

If peoples were less stupid with celebrities we might see them more often in real life. Like taking subway etc... I admit it must be quite annoying for them being afraid to be annoyed or scream at. I've seen a celebrity one day and just did nothing but already inthe second some peoples were screaming oh it's this guy". The positive point is we live in a world with so much celebrities now that we can't know them all.
it was an accidental double tap
If you EVER say to someone " DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" I don't care who you are. You need to check yourself because you are above NO ONE.

I would respond to that question by saying my own full name with a question mark lol XD
Only Trump can say that because he is above the law
Years ago I went on a school field trip for my daughter. Some of us parents went in a mom’s minivan while the kids rode the bus. I was seated next to a guy and during the ride I engaged in him the usual male conversation of what do you do etc. He said he was a musician. I asked him if he played in a group or did individual performances. His response was he was in a band and when I asked him the name of the band, he said The Doobie Brothers. It was Pat Simmons, founder member of the Doobie Brothers. I felt so stupid, but he was very kind. During the field trip he was just like any other parent and we had a very nice time during the field trip. There was no pretension, inflated sense of self importance, etc. He was just a normal guy.

im so glad adam sandler didnt go “well im popular so get me a seat now” instead he just left because he didnt wanna wait 30 minutes, respectable option
Yeah, his body language when told he'd have to wait and his follow up to arrange a publicity event to have the restaurant "make amends for the mishap" says otherwise. AYFKM? 🙄
His body language? He simply did like I've done with my family when we have to decide if it's worth the wait or not. And we decide nevermind let's eat somewhere else. Then after he had no issues but others who found out made a big deal so they decided to make a charity event out of the situation. It was a good thing to do as IHOP was stupidly getting crappy from the public for it but Adam Sandler had zero issues with IHOP@@YuToob7
@@YuToob7 Pretty sure that event was arranged by the restaurant due to their blunder. Would kind of make Sandler look bad if he said no to a fundraiser event.

Sandler example was not a "mishap" He gracefully accepted the same choice others made, wait or leave.

- some celebrity, after being denied a hug from Seinfeld
Kesha is a bad person and can't be trusted. She asked Jerry for a hug, he said no, she asked a 2nd time, he said no, she asked a 3rd time, he said no. Why didn't she just accept the no after the 1st time? Then you realize she tried to sue her music producer for sexual harassment and assault, ironic when she just harassed Jerry for a hug and she didn't accept his no. Luckily the judge dismissed her claims and they made a settlement. But just goes to show she's a fraud.
Yeah you can't expect everybody to know who you are so I don't know why she was so dramatic about it...

I’m 36 and don’t know more than half of these people either. So strange how culture is disconnected now.
because they get used to being recognised.
They're all the same these days, they've been stuck on that "I'm a gangsta/I gots a big booty" bullshit for about 2 decades now. The most interesting they get is when they do a sad rap. They all have the most retarded names, too. They're like "do you know who I am? Bruhhh. I'm OG Whip Kreem Xtreme". I wouldn't blame anyone for not knowing who they are, there's not much to know really.
I think people are just busy with their own lives more often now. Everyone is worried about gas costs, their employers raising prices and not even kicking none back to the bottom tier employees, working 50+ hours a week and also driving for Uber on the weekends, their cheating wife or husband, that upcoming Thanksgiving with the cheating spouse's in laws (and the guy he or she's cheating with will probably be introduced to you as a cousin), etc. Nobody cares about celebrities anyways. So they get tens of millions of dollars to act like we all did in school plays when we were baby kids. Who cares?
Better to not know them. Better to have a life instead
wait until you hit 65+ You won't know MOST of the 'famous'. And conversations with anyone less than half your age are difficult. Not many shared points of reference in pop culture. But that can be even more entertaining. 😊

@@ChiSportsNut18 no thats the funny part. They could have had a very special picture with bono and the boss but they had the boss take the picture. Its a funny story and Springsteen thought it was fun.
Its not that strange really. They were visiting Ireland and bono is Irish. But after they saw him they did not look closely at the friend. Bigger chance of seeing bono in his home town than to se the boss on vacation there.
They had the owner of the restaurant write a note that it actually happened that way. Its a better story than a picture with two singers
Nothing lamer than "DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM??"
"No, I don't. Are you supposed to be special? Are you a SPECIAL BOY?"
It’s funny how celebrities act like they don’t want to be bothered when they are out in public, and then they get annoyed when no one recognizes them.
