Theme to Fawlty Towers

- This is the theme song for an educational British TV show called "Fawlty Towers." It was scripted by and starred John Cleese and Connie Booth. Other players were Prunella Scales and Andrew Sachs. The Theme for Fawlty Towers was composed for string quartet by Dennis Wilson in 1974. I thought it was time to record something a little more upscale, bring a touch of class to RUclips, which I have heard can sometimes attract "rubbish."
There were twelve episodes of Fawlty Towers created, covering such subjects as death, post-WWII British relations with Germany, psychiatry, and gambling addiction, with occasional forays into less weighty topics, such as gourmet cooking -- I particularly remember a recipe for Waldorf Salad was presented.

Correction: I thought the hotel was in England, but apparently it is in Florida -- my mistake, it's been a while since I saw the show: www.fawltytowersresort.com Видеоклипы
Great playing and one of our favourite programmes of all time !
The hotel was in Torquay in England, not in Florida, but it burned down.
Sweet! One of my favorite shows!
Aah; happy days! Nice playing, Jeff.
Love this! Great tune!
" I hit you in head with hamster". That looks like a fun song to play
You a very inspiring musician
Very good!
Excellent stuff!!
Fawlty Towers was a comedy. It was however based on John Cleese's idea of how NOT to run a hotel. Each episode would present a different problem, to which Basil Fawlty's response would almost invariably be the least appropriate imaginable (see "The Germans"). Cleese later used this comic approach to management issues in his "Video Arts" company, which specialised in management training videos. At this time, many companies had VCRs, while computer presentation software was basic or non-existent.
If you accidentally found this by searcing for the word "educational," I apologise.
Really enjoy your videos. I'm learning the Anglo right now and am having a blast. I'm rather envious of the more "versatile" concertinas now like the Hayden. Once I get proficient with the Anglo, is transitioning to another type of concertina very difficult, or even advisable?
Farty Towels made me lol! Love this and I'm 12! And Only Fools and Horses...and on the Buses! Why do I like these shows?
Because they are the best
