  • This is a Tex-Mex waltz recorded in 1929 I got from the album "Norteño & Tejano Accordion Pioneers, Mexican-American Border Music Vol. III." According to the book "Tejano Proud": "R. de León and L. Villalobos made the first conjunto recroding in 1929, a vals called 'A Palerno.'"
I'm playing my Hayden duet concertina made by Wim Wakker -- see my first Hayden duet video for more information on the instrument:

I uploaded the same video to Vimeo, you can see it with somewhat better picture and sound there:

If someday I can play my "Elise" half as well as Jeff, I'll be happy. Anyone know where I can get the sheet music?

Enwch Anhysbys < I don't know about sheet music but I know Jeff's real good and so do the fine people at The Button Box, in Sunderland Massachusetts, where I bought an Elise. I, too, hope to play as you do. Btw, how's that going?

    Sounds more Russian than Tex-Mex.
