I've had a similar idea, was thinking a older Honda rancher or foreman would make a nice start assembly. Built to a custom frame stretched and widened. You could go solid axle rear or with some heavier modifications go independent.

Yeah I think I’m the future I will switch the rear end over to a independent set up with a controllable locker.
