Things to try, smaller gear up front with a bigger gear at the axle will bring low end power. Or a bigger carb, with opening up the intake on the head to match the bigger carb and open up the exhaust will bring a huge different feel of the power. good luck great show
Have you guys done anything to take the rattle out of the body? My x-pro sounds terrible at top speed….everything vibrates like crazy. Thanks for the other tips!
This video of how much upgrading stock equipment is really fun. There is always a better part out there but at what point can you tell the difference? Seeing how much things improved here was a good time. If that is the LAB part of your channel name... I like it.
This channel is one of my new top favorites. I’m not a fan of channels with scrips or plan sayings or whatever. I know channels have to have plans on videos and purchase the products then be organized but there is nothing better than “mad lipping” and going with the flow of the series. You guys missing from Matt’s off-road was a big change and not sure in the best way? I love that channel but I love the mixup of the things you guys bring. Keep it going!!!!!
Install a HUGE oil cooler. Probably somewhat solve the issue. And if u want to get fancy, install a thermostatic fan switch and electric fan on the cooler!
I guess I'm just like Tucker. "here we go" then Tucker and I both started laughing simultaneously. You guys are absolutely the best entertainment out there! Thanks for taking us along!
Many many years ago, trials bikes were mostly 250cc Bultacos, and much heavier than what we think of as Trials bikes nowadays. Then in 1972 Honda produced the TL125, which most of us pretty much laughed at. The first time I saw one, I was waiting for my turn to climb a long steep section, and a large lad turned up on a TL125. We were 100% certain that he had no chance, but he crawled up that hill going slow so as not to lose traction, and shocked the bejezus out of us. Tucker climbing the slope in the modified Jeep reminded me of that day.
You guys are awesome! Every video I'm jealous that I'm not there with you guys goofin' around and having fun :) Maybe let Eric drive one of those jeeps next time, perhaps he'll realize the golden nugget wasn't so bad after all :D
I deeply appreciate the mad mad behind the scenes joke about Morr. Mini jeeps vs the worlds largest off-road wrecker. The exquisite tongue in cheek sarcasm is one of the most interesting and intellectual things I have ever witnessed.lol
I figured changing sprockets would be your best bet. Of course, when I mentioned it, I was thinking front and back. How's the drive train set up on those things? I take it after watching this video the clutch is on engine crankshaft, kind of like a chainsaw. But then what, chain drive to gearbox then to rear end or is the gearbox part of the rear end? When I mentioned experimenting with belts on the earlier video, I was picturing more of a snowmobile setup.
We don’t know much about all of that. All I can tell you is the motor and gearbox are one unit with a wet semi-auto clutch. We got some rear sprockets as well but they were the wrong ones so we worked with what we had. Thanks for your comments and suggestions!
It's a 3+reverse semi auto atv engine/trans assembly with direct chain drive to rear axle... What I think would be awesome is if they converted one to 4wd/4x4... There are components out there to build a 4x4 version either via chain drive or via SAS differential axle swap
@@MisAdventureLab I know about working with what you have, been there done that as they say. I'm thinking gearing is the way to go for what you all seem to want to do. But I guess you could go with boring and stroking the engine for more HP. Good luck whatever you all do.
@@MisAdventureLab Something else I just thought of. Go to your nearest airport and see if you can buy some AVGAS. 110 octane will give them a boost. You won't be able to run them for long though without improving the cooling system.
I have one of these for a project build i want to put a bigge rmotor in. Any ideas? In thinking 300ex or a ltz 400 so i can have reverse. Or possibly a old 200m 3 wheeler motor
like the bus camper home outbreak is there like a mini jeep adventures outbreak recently? they keep popping up on my feed ever since I discovered this channel and c90adventures 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How did I not know this channel existed? Awesome, guys! I loved your lecture on knowledge and power and owls! Subscribed, fo sho! Great branding too... _someone_ has a design eye...
I swapped out the 14T to a 12T today. I used the original sprocket retainer instead of using the one that came with the sprocket. Still touches the chain a little but holy smoke did that change it. It can climb hills with much left effort. Going to 20s is my next move. I know I will loose a little of that bottom end we got today but there is plenty to spare. Thank you for doing this series you guys!
"...i saw a RUclips video...im an expert.."😁i can relate!! i appreciate the diagram...the officious white coat was a clear indication of your expertise.... 😆🤣😅😁😀😂
that loon that drove one to moab probably can give some tips on improving them things. i'd only be using one of them on relatively improved roads, so i'd need a proper diff, and a more flexible rear suspension. the swingarm assembly under my weight would get destroyed, so, ball joints at the end of independent arms and a proper panhard rod.
14:00 You can tell this story some night at a bar about how Trevor literally pulled Tucker, and his "Jeep", up an obstacle with his bare hands. Just never mention the MINI jeep part :)
The amount of math and computer simulations you guys must be doing behind the scenes is mind-boggling! And I know the whiteboard presentations done by Trevor, although concise, were most likely toned down for those like me with limited technical skills.😊 I really enjoy your videos! One thing I might point out is that when those Jeeps stop moving with the engines still revving, the clutch is likely slipping and heating rapidly. It would be really good if you could switch over a manual clutch so it could be controlled better.
Maybe a wheelie bar… (Wonder if you could mount those Jeep bodies on a 4x4, 4wheelers?) Use the four wheeler seat, and handlebars… I wonder what that would be like?🤔
U need to adjust what u thought was clutch bolt hit the screw in middle turn it out then turn it back in till it just engage pressure the more u turn the center screw the more the clutch will slip. That will work if it hard shift u just need little more tension as clutch wares u back that center screw out . Ive done things with that motor u never could imagine and any time u take the exhaust open they will run lean factory are lean and if u get clutch right it should walk right up them hills I use to take 70 3 wheeler on Hills that were way stepper but I wish I was there to show u the simple and cheap way to make them run better.i wish I had funds to own one I would love to stretch 8-10 inch right at the center door area so u could mould new rocker panel to connect the body together kinda like diamond plat e lower rocker guard and it still look ok because of no door also small roll bar with 1inch wider hub or axel maybe bigger cam or bigger bore cylinder lot them copy motors are interchangeable and u can do upgrades from a factory big cubes motor because there's so many Chinese copy's old Honda with bearings in cam area and 4 valve head lit little things old Honda motor back when I was building those motors I swap them on every i could riding tractors go karts even use bed frame L channel all bolt together with lawnmower reàr axel and front before I could weld things I was the kid if it had motor I would ride it or make it propelled something.
3rd video in a row I'm saying just fit a Hi/LOW CT110 motor. You will not regret it with on and offroad usability. Plus they are 4 speed. Also use an intake manifold adapter plate, can put the manifold at any angle then. I build custom race and adventure 125cc bikes for a living
@@MisAdventureLab hell yes, you'll wish you did it sooner once you do 🤣 Btw you can also easily get around 14hp out of them too with a 140cc top end and high lift cams. Your one's will be around 6-7 hp currently.
Haha.... Every time I see those dang jeeps for sale online, I think how ridiculous it would be for me to buy one. Having said that, Y'all really make me want one now.....bahahahahaha!! Keep having fun!!
Seeing one lil jeep winching up another lil jeep over that hump has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. LOVED it! 😂
Always love getting notified about some good old MisAdventures!!
I am calling it now
This channel is gonna make it big
Thanks!
The lab coat/white board lesson was the best part!
Trevor has a gas leak. The float maybe a little high. Great to see you two. You both seem so much happier.

I am really enjoying this mini jeep series. I am sure you guys will get everything figured out.
Need to put a wheelie wheel on the back to keep from going over backwards! The smaller sprocket helped.
I know Trevor must have drawn that owl. It looks just like him!
Love watching you guys mess around with these mini jeeps. Makes me smile every time.
I am so glad that you guys eventually made it through the funnel. Matt's offroad recovery said that one can be a doozy!
Have you guys done anything to take the rattle out of the body?

Thanks for the other tips!
You guys are great entertainment for the 8 year old within me 👍🏻👍🏻
Im impressed by the wheel spin.. you need front wheel drive too 😂😂
I have a jeep mini and water got into the carburetor. How do customize a splash guard ?
We never did that but that sounds like something we should look into, especially if we play with these in the wet snow.

There needs to be a mini wrecker build for mini recoveries. Should be a fleet of mini crawlers, bloggers, drag, drift, mini lowboys.
mini tanks too, they can be slapped together from snowmobile tracks.
Yes like a recovery. Getting these guys together with plumbing co would be sick for this series
I feel like Grind Hard Plumbing Co might be a channel for you as well.
So what shocks are everyone using to replace the stiff stock ones?
Where did you purchase the new clutch?
I guess I'm just like Tucker. "here we go" then Tucker and I both started laughing simultaneously. You guys are absolutely the best entertainment out there! Thanks for taking us along!
You guys are a riot! I've still got that OEM service manual for a '99 XJ I'll send you Trevor!
If you have the time and money, that is a ton of fun. LOVE seeing your videos.
I have a Masimo tsc brand mini Jeep. Who makes a lift kit for them ? They set to low in the front even with the shocks turned up.
I’m not sure anyone sells a lift other than just buying taller shocks.
This series are awsome. Please go full send and give them a real offroad rebuild. Would be awsome to see you guys do that.
I loved the look on Trevor’s face when he was trying to go up the rock (without the winch line). 😣 Always love your content! ❤

Is there a way to adjust the clutch on these mini jeeps so they don't slip so easily?
Bro does anyone know how to tighten chain on mini jeep also need master link what chain is it
What you guys are proving to me is it may be better to build my own off-road go-kart. The only thing I won't have is the cool Jeep body.
Keep ‘em coming! Great videos! Enjoying them all!
