Man if that left rear tire was pulling and had some aggressive mud tires that little thing would get down…..as you said and a tooth bar for the bucket. I like my rock/landscape bucket for moving and cutting dirt more than my tooth bucket, bottom is longer and has flat teeth cut into the cutting edge with vertical metal as the bottom but when you shove it in packed dirt none falls through. This bucket is ideal for sifting through topsoil to get all the grass/rocks out of it before spreading with the standard bucket. Good luck with the little green machine

I just cut that stem out of all those fuel shut off and put a manual in line if its needed. I bought a Gehl 6635 has an 80hp diesel and 9k lbs. love it too just too big sometimes so i scratched up a New Holland L75 with a seized 4cyl wisconsin so im hunting one of those or a 4BT,Shiburu or Kubota 40-60hp diesel engine for it. Put same size tires all way around and will stop the chain from popping over the sprockets, thats like having 3.55 rear and 4.10 rear diff gears in a 4wd truck locked in on pavement and why it was sliding the right rear because its going slower than the front tire, iirc the drive motor directly couples to the rear wheels and chain drives the front off the motor shaft

That caddy is likely a v16 and should easily fetch 100k. Awesome car and trucks

You need a caster wheel on the rear to allow much smoother turning on hard surfaces. It would let the machine turn and not dig up the lawn and on pavement it would be give better control.

Pretty sweet. Personal opinion I would change the oil in all of the final drives / engine oil / transmission / hydraulic etc. It sounds like the main jet needs opened up just a little bit on the carbureator. . That might be why it at times falls on it's face . I am impressed !!! It is cool to see equipment saved.

Sounds like it runs great! I think the chain came off the left rear. You might want to look at that. It would be way easier to use if you fixed that. Can you straighten the bucket? BTW Farm and Fleet sells trailer tires on rims cheap. It looks like they would fit that tiny machine.

The Gehl 2500 was actually built by HydraMac. The model 2600 was built Gehl. The original engine was a 25 hp Onan.

Sounds like the chain is riding up on a worn tooth. The popping noise is when the chain jumps off the worm tooth and falls down into the groove in the sprocket. (Between the teeth.)

I did Not hear it running so bad. That cat hooked to the bed front was unsafe. The pole you have standing is good but I would not trust those blocks under the back. Putting that heavy angle iron in was fine.

I can tell you why the chain jumps the sproket. The sprokets are worn out on the side with the noise. It may cure the jumping to tighten it up if it is loose. Otherwise not.

It's a hydramac. They made them for gehl.

You have the voice of a broadcast engineer but the mechanical savvy unperturbed. Where ya'll needed to use the Brillo pad was down in the seat. Did I see the bucket try to straighten itself, right side low, when you tried to turn the left handle? So bucket curl is turning the right control in a twisting motion? What does twisting the left control do? Raise the boom up and down?

And here the throttle is stuck wide open.

I Wonder If The Left Rear Sprocket Might Be Slipping On The Shaft Causing Only The Left Front To Pull And Spin!!! The Right Side Seemed To Pull Even By Watching The Lettering!!! I Would Be Checking Out The Left Rear Sprocket And How It's Attached And If It Might Be Freewheeling!!! Already A Great Score And If You Can Find The Slippage Problem Then It's A Magnificent Score!!! Wish I Could Come Across One For 500 Bucks!!! Keep Rocking!!!
