first I've seen of the mini jeep and I'm glad I found it! for placing the brake in a better location you may be able to mount it on the trans and extend the lever making it look more like a drift car hand brake.

That was my original idea, with the Bar I was using it wouldn't of worked well, I have some more ideas to try though for a better brakes set up.

You can buy banjo fittings that screw onto the male hydraulic line for front brakes.
