Ed March modified Willy into a jack of all trades mini jeep and he rode it through the most challenging Utah terrain. He even made it float down a river! I wouldn’t ride it in stock form. 😊
I love how this thing looks closer to a golf cart, yet has a dirt bike engine 😂

Probably a four wheeler motor, I'm pretty sure at least the gearbox is from a four wheeler since it has reverse. It's actually a pretty neat little design and a clever build, quality seems shoddy but I think it's a cool idea.

For only $2,500, this is actually an amazing piece of equipment! I could totally see a grandfather who was a veteran getting this for his little grandson as a birthday present. I think that's who it's designed for, not full-grown adults.

The company who designed this says it's for 16 and up. When you see this in person, it's bigger than you think and has a long seat for adults.

Look up C90 adventure, he drove one of these from Ohio to Moab and in the last video released today he made it amphibious. Definitely worth a watch

c90adventures here on youtube just posted a video where he makes one of these amphibious and drives it a mile or so on a big lake in Utah. He had a friend with an awesome laser tube cutter help him.

as a car guy, it's funny hearing his complaints about the suspension and stuff, because that's how actual jeeps come too!
Those little 125cc generator engines are great, they're so versatile and have loads of power for their size.

I love your little Jeep, one of the first things I'd do is make it Four-Wheel-Drive. It may not be that hard to do, get a sprocket affixed to the front axle, form of transfer case...yada yada....Yeah, four-wheel drive and maybe tune up the engine to get maximum power out of it. Good Luck!

You should most def fix that up! Like make it 4WD if you can and fix some of the wobbly parts. Like this thing is SOOOO COOOL!
A little tinkering and that little lawn mower can be turned into a trail wrecking mud machine. in my opinion, If I ever owned one of these, the frame and chassis has potential but everything else would need a replacement. The concept is beautiful but it’s functionality would need some serious performance enhancing adjustments. I’d put a Kawasaki h2 supercharged engine in it, loosen up the steering, fabricate a custom steering column (so it won’t punch you in the 🥜 if you hit a tree), and put on some grippy off-road tires.

15:02 Bet that is what it is, I would have removed it. Someone in a dirt bike or ATV unaware of it being there will get seriously hurt if they hit it a speed. It does not look like part of a 'fence' as it is just across the path. There is a post on reddit showing the injury of a dirt bike rider after hitting one of these. the person responsible should at least put a noticeable sign or something for a warning if they were trying to keep people off their property.

@DH-xw6jp I mean, im all for protecting your private property, but potentially cutting someone's head off or body in half is a big extreme when they ain't posing threat to you or your land. Catch them, kick them off. They come back uninvited, get the law involved. They come on to your property to cause you or your family harm, by all means take care of the threat. But don't just straight up murder someone for trespassing. Especially because they might not know, or they might have been lied to and thought they had permission to be on the private property.

I had one of those Chinese 4 wheelers for a while and it wasn't much better than that jeep, but it was a lot of fun you go man👍👍
Change the oil if you haven’t done already as there shipped with a shipping oil what is no good for anything I’ve always rebuilt Chinese crap and use lots of loctite. On a plus side you can practice welding!

c90adventures already did the mini jeep amphibious thing. He released the video yesterday. He took it a little more than a mile across a lake using inflatable pontoons. He did 1000 miles in it through the salt flats and such in Utah to get to Moab.
i knew he was going to moab but had no idea he was taking it across a lake, thats awesome

@@TylerTube I'd like to see you do an original take on it. He had an engineering firm fabricate brackets to fit his jeep and hold the pontoons. He used the wheels as paddles and said he got to about 3mph.
