I bought mine at the start of my 2nd year in college a little while ago and I’ve been loving it ever since. The design is great and it’s like a cheaper version to the HP spectre. The keyboard also feels great and the touchscreen has great haptics too. Hope this helps!

Personally, I would look into which program you would feel most comfy to write in, either Microsoft OneNote or Samsung Notes. If you like Onenote more I recommend the HP Spectre, the spectre is more updated than the envy. If you do decide Samsung Notes then I recommend the Tab 8 plus. You can even make the Samsung tab 8 plus into a 360 laptop as well if you do buy the keyboard that Samsung offers for the tablets. If I had to choose, I would go with the Samsung tab s8 plus, it might just be a bit cheaper if you are looking to not spend so much money. I hope this helped!

You are so welcome! And that was my worry to when at first i was going to get this laptop, but where the the keyboard is, there is 3D gummies on the sides so it will not put pressure on the keyboard and your keyboard will be protected
@@kitanalogy I just got my first 2-in-1 and I had a similar worry. I got a Lenovo ideapad flex 5 and it does not have those rubber thingies protecting the keyboard if I lay it down flat. But I guess the keys are lower or at about the same height. I am still worried about moving my laptop arounded when it is folded and if it'll ruin the keyboard. Also, I was wondering if using the laptop in tent mode will scratch/damage the edges that touch the surfaces...

Have you tried using one of the Microsoft pro stylus pens on your HP? It has an integrated eraser function on the top tip. I’m super curious to know if they’re compatible bc I loved using that pen, since the eraser function is so convenient
im going to be honest! I have not tried that and I do not want to give you any false information! But I believe HP pens work only with HPs and Microsoft pens only work with Microsoft tech!

I have the HP envy x360 i was wondering how do you control your hand on the screen ? like idk how to write nicely without the side of my palm being on the screen which makes the screen go weird.
I believe is that the hp spectre x360 is a little more upgraded on their plam rejection but what i do is i like to zoom super close and my hand writing is so much better! Try that!🙏

Hahah thank you, but I personally feel I do not have good handwriting myself, but the greatest tip I can give you is to really zoom into the page so your handwriting is a bit better!
I always recommend getting the pens the same brands as your laptops I personally believe the HP pen will not work on a Lenovo, I recommend getting the Lenovo pen instead.

This is all in my opinion but i do really like the pen! I feel like some people do not like it because its a bit to short but at first i did not like it due to that issue but then after using it for so long i got use to it, and i love it! The pen works! Its very smooth when writing stuff down!

To my understanding, the HP pen can be used with any touchscreen device with MPP (Microsoft Pen Protocol). With a quick Google search, the Acer spin 5 does seem to have that support.

I bought mine at the start of my 2nd year in college a little while ago and I’ve been loving it ever since. The design is great and it’s like a cheaper version to the HP spectre. The keyboard also feels great and the touchscreen has great haptics too. Hope this helps!

Hey I just joined university and I want to make notes as well with a stylus but should I go for the tab s8+ or HP spectre or envy what would you recommend
I’m struggling with exactly the same bruh
Personally, I would look into which program you would feel most comfy to write in, either Microsoft OneNote or Samsung Notes. If you like Onenote more I recommend the HP Spectre, the spectre is more updated than the envy. If you do decide Samsung Notes then I recommend the Tab 8 plus. You can even make the Samsung tab 8 plus into a 360 laptop as well if you do buy the keyboard that Samsung offers for the tablets. If I had to choose, I would go with the Samsung tab s8 plus, it might just be a bit cheaper if you are looking to not spend so much money.

You are so welcome! And that was my worry to when at first i was going to get this laptop, but where the the keyboard is, there is 3D gummies on the sides so it will not put pressure on the keyboard and your keyboard will be protected
@@kitanalogy I just got my first 2-in-1 and I had a similar worry. I got a Lenovo ideapad flex 5 and it does not have those rubber thingies protecting the keyboard if I lay it down flat. But I guess the keys are lower or at about the same height. I am still worried about moving my laptop arounded when it is folded and if it'll ruin the keyboard. Also, I was wondering if using the laptop in tent mode will scratch/damage the edges that touch the surfaces...

The pen is only for hp spectre laptop, but it is very precise and also palm rejection is fantastic!
Have you tried using one of the Microsoft pro stylus pens on your HP? It has an integrated eraser function on the top tip. I’m super curious to know if they’re compatible bc I loved using that pen, since the eraser function is so convenient
im going to be honest! I have not tried that and I do not want to give you any false information! But I believe HP pens work only with HPs and Microsoft pens only work with Microsoft tech!

I have the HP envy x360 i was wondering how do you control your hand on the screen ? like idk how to write nicely without the side of my palm being on the screen which makes the screen go weird.
I believe is that the hp spectre x360 is a little more upgraded on their plam rejection but what i do is i like to zoom super close and my hand writing is so much better! Try that!🙏

I always recommend getting the pens the same brands as your laptops I personally believe the HP pen will not work on a Lenovo, I recommend getting the Lenovo pen instead.

This is all in my opinion but i do really like the pen! I feel like some people do not like it because its a bit to short but at first i did not like it due to that issue but then after using it for so long i got use to it, and i love it! The pen works! Its very smooth when writing stuff down!

@@benajameijnen7473 sometimes the palm rejection can lack but its not that bad at all up to the point where you need to wear a glove but when the device is in tablet mode and you start writing alot And it see that you are doing that, the palm rejection is great!

I am not sure because the pen already came with the laptop, but mine is battery operated, not usb charging
I have a acer spin 5 but I can't find good pens for note taking. Do you have anything of some sorts? Like does the pen your using only for hp users?
To my understanding, the HP pen can be used with any touchscreen device with MPP (Microsoft Pen Protocol). With a quick Google search, the Acer spin 5 does seem to have that support.
If you ever feel prinitng it out , how do you do it. Everytime it prints- out of symmetry (compared to the orignal one)
My problem is how to set a particular page size
It depends on how big yout page size is, so make sure it's the size of your paper that you want to print it on
