- I played for my cousins wedding and as I was trying out the rented cello before the ceremony, I suddenly had the urge to play some Bach for the horses at the wedding location to see how they would react...I wasn't disappointed!!

All the videos I've watched where live music was played for the animals, they're always enjoyed it. How wonderful to give them that experience.

These horses have such good taste in music. This is one of my personal faves I've played on piano and in concert band too. Lovely song.

Grand grandfather was in German cavalry ww1 and always told my grandmother of the reactions of the horses on March Music.... They reacted and immediately their movements got bold fierce and flamboyant....

it's actually scientifically proven that horses tend to enjoy classical music as opposed to other genres. so yes, indeed, horses do love Bach. You are also a lovely man for giving these beauties a taste of your music.

The little white one who takes note from the start is the only true fan, I'm afraid. He approaches in a straight on manner, initially with a little tail swish, and doing some teeth and mouth display to say 'hi i'm not a threat' and probably trying to get a good smell. Then he relaxes pretty early on - AND, adorably I found, pushes his way to a full front row seat once the other bigger horses have had a look. The way he just intently stayed listening with a relaxed and calm body posture and still tail really does say he was enjoying it.
The other horses though are flicking their tails the entire time, licking, radaring their ears, side glancing and body shivering which tend to mean they were at least unsure. That's just horses though, and it's pretty neat that the one little guy (or girl I suppose) was having such a nice time. Lovely playing btw! :)
